So this is just another one of those Indian run dumps, very poorly run. I can't even undersand why Choice Hotels would even have this place under their brand. Before booking this hotel look up the Deluxe Inn Lumberton. They don't even have a Travelodge sign posted, lipstick on a pig hotel.

The staff is incredible. The price for the room is more than reasonable, but the employees are the main reason for the 5 stars. Anything you need help with or bring to their attention, will be taken care of in minutes. Never have I received customer service in such a timely manner. You must see for yourself!! Unbelievable that the rooms are so financially affordable with such great service.

TL:DR Professional, civil customer service doesn't exist here and rooms are unsafe and flooding due to improper electrical and plumbing installations. No towels/wash clothes or toilet paper upon room entry. Roaches scattered beneath my feet Outlits are a fire hazard. Air filter for ac unit hadn't been cleaned and was coated in lint, fuzz, and wood splinters for whatever reason eludes me. Tub wouldn't drain and then drained out into the remainder of not only the bathroom but the bedroom as well. Was not only refused a change of room but was also refused a refund. Paid for 3 days, spent less than 12 hours hoping that the owners or one of their maintenance or cleaning ladies would respond appropriately. When politely trying to discuss the situation concerning the state of the room we had recieved, we were cussed out and threatened with the police for our "behavior" in which we offered to call for them. Apparently being civil accounts for nothing these days. Will not be returning and Heaven help whoever tries to stay in a clean and safe environment. 0/10 rating points due to the aforementioned issues.

I'm a patient transporter at unc southeastern health hospital in Lumberton NC and I have been working there for 13 years. And I have been living at the deluxe inn for about two years and I have not had any problems with the service there. The people who managed it is very helpful and I have enjoyed my stay. Thank you for your concern.

Staff here is very friendly, rooms come at the best rates I could find anywhere. My family and I have stayed at this hotel for months and I have no complaints. Owners do a great job at keeping the area as family friendly as possible.

Under new management, now a wyndham "TRAVEL LODGE ", REMODELING IN PROGRESS, new flooring, no roaches, still room for more upgrades but 100% improvements from several years ago, no more low end rif/raff hanging around, new management extremely nice and concerned with upgrading properties appearance

The owner Abi Patel went way out of her way to make my stay comfortable. My first room air didn't work right. Then Abi put me in another room. Which was AWESOME the bed slept good. And I didn't see no signs of bugs at all. Abi and her husband Peter are making the motel better then it was under the old management.

The room had a smell to it floors were dirty had a big gap between the door and the floor had to put a towel down to keep the cold air out . I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody..

Been here since February. Moved out this way from another state due to family. Staff are great freindly and always helpful. My significant other and our children have been treated like family and with the utmost respect. Price range is perfect. Very clean rooms and grounds. The maintenance workers are always on the go and repairing what is need or fixed. A definite must if you living on a budget and need some where to stay whether ist short term or long.

I’ve been staying here for awhile now. I’m enjoying my stay . They have great service and every room I’ve had has been nice and clean. Compared to the previous owners they’re making a great turn around it’s really a way better stay than back then . I would totally recommend.

I had some issues with the shower and the door being able to read my key card but overall it's not bad. Stayed for over a month and staff and housekeeping were always good. It's in a good location and the weekly rate was affordable.

After 10 hours of driving, my boyfriend and I wanted to rest in a hotel but for me it was the opposite, I did not sleep at all with fear that something would appear because the room was disgusting. There were also no soaps, no towels, the bed felt disgusting, I even felt disgusted to bathe. The air was not cool at all! The only good thing was the employees, they were nice to us but just that. I also noticed that there are many rooms still under construction, I hope they improve the service a lot! . I do not recommend to anybody!

This was our first and LAST time at this hotel. I do not normally complain, as I’ve been in many different hotels. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever been too. We were put in a room that had no properly working a/c, the tv wasn’t working right, and the room was full of roaches. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night and we were put in a room that had a fridge so disgusting I had to clean it myself. We also had to clean the air filters for the a/c in the room we switched too because it was so filthy it wasn’t working right. They had a pool with no water in the middle of Summer? They also advertise free breakfast, which is a lie. Lastly, there was some kind of fecies in their stairway/hallway for over a day before they cleaned it up. Also, Everytime I had a problem and went to the office, there was no one there and I had to ring a bell multiple times before someone came.

Possibly the worst motel I've ever seen firsthand. Ill do a compliment sandwich though: +front desk lady was very nice and helpful -hotel was disgusting, hallways with big gulp cups being used for toilets by the squatters -key didn't open the door after being programmed twice, but that was a blessing +husky dog behind the desk was friendly and made us feel a little safer as we asked for a refund

I'm out of state here working on job assignment and,I've been stay here and,yes it's an older motel but,rooms are clean it's very quiet and,they are NO drugs which is a huge plus!!!! The owners are very helpful and,down to earth.They are slowly but, surely turning this place around from what I have heard it use to be... I would recommend!!!!

Under new management rooms are horrible right now but I'm sure the new owners will get this place up to par.

“DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PLACE”Had booked a queen sided room to get a room with a twin bed that’s suppose to sleep 2 people. The AIR CONDITIONER don’t work and when I called the front desk to tell them I was told I’ll tell the mechanic….. asked for another room to be told we don’t have any like be for real this hotel is not even full, you have over 250 rooms. They refuse to put me in a different room and refuse to give me back my money.. DONT WASTER MONEY ON THIS PLACE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I came to visit my dad witch was diagnosed with cancer and styed here but never again ,Roaches, dirty floors ,hair in shower and sink ,toilet broken ,hot water ran in the shower constantly, heater squeal all nights ,cops were ther cause someone held someone in the room ,people arguing all night ,locked outta my room for the first 2 and half days in 20 degree weather sometimes for as long as 20min. Because the lock was broken they would come out and beat on it to get me in then as soon as I walk out locked out again . The lady working the counter was nice that's the only positive thing I gotta say about this place . Better be packing more than bug spray if you stay there .

Nice quiet place to come relax with family or spouse ,room was clean, everything working as well .i didn't see no bug problem,I didnt have any problems whole time been here .stayed past 2nights I would definitely recommend

This place is a great Place. The owners Really care about The people here If you need anything u can go to the Lobby and they will do their personal Best to make sure that you have what u need! They have people constantly out keeping the property up so that u can enjoy your stay It is a great value to stay here. Just a cheap hotel. They dont service your room if you stay by the week. The cold water drizzles in my room. The TV hasnt worked for three days. Just a no frills hotel.🤷‍♂️

The Owners and Staff were professional and the location was local and I-95 accessable as well. I was going to be in the city for a few days and got a great weekly rate! The rooms were large and clean

I've been here close to two weeks and it's very comfortable here at Deluxe Inn. The management and workers take care of your needs, and they are friendly and welcoming people. So if you're tired and need your rest, this is the place to be. These people treat you like family.

How this place is still open is beyond my comprehension. If you look at the Google reviews you’ll notice they have halted sharing photos. I’m posting everywhere I can, because this place is DISGUSTING! The front desk lady was super friendly. After I walked in the first room I immediately called her back. The pillow cases were filthy, there was no fitted sheet and the bed was barely made. I walked a little bit further to find cockroaches still moving on the floor. It’s smelled of pesticides, mold and stale cigarettes. I stated this was nothing as the pictures online and the total filth of the room. My feet were even sticking to the floor. She asked me to come back to the front desk where she gave me a key to look at 3 other rooms. (Pictures are a mixture of all rooms) She advised me that 2 of them were king beds and that I would have to pay $10 more to stay in the king bed rooms 🤣 I checked them all disgusting, missing drawers, filthy linens, pealing paint and walls, crawling and black mold, dirty mirrors, one didn’t even have a window, there was plywood in its place. The dumpsters outside were over flowing with garbage. Large construction sized dumpsters. As I left the rooms to return my key and ask for a refund, which she did oblige, she asked if shingles was contagious because one of the guests who lived there just called and told her she had them 🤦🏼‍♀️ Stay away, buy a sleeping bag and a pillow and sleep in your car if all else fails. Who knows what you’ll get attempting to stay there, I can guarantee it won’t be a good nights sleep.

Deluxe has become a nicer place, it’s under new management that is working very hard to make property family oriented and a safe place to be. The house keepers try there best to make sure you have the cleanest and most comfortable place to stay

well what can I say they have remodeling all the rooms looks pretty good it's cheap and affordable if you need somewhere to stay but other than that it used to be a nice motel or a hotel whatever you call it but now it's ran down on the outside and people living there throughout the week or month but hey for the money if you need a cheap place to stay nice room on inside it's just not nice on the outside but it's a cheap Room if you are on a budget and staying one or two Nights the cable works and plenty of places to eat and shop in walking distance from the room they also working on the outside of it that's why it looks like it does so mind me when I say ran down they just doing all I didn't end on and it will look good eventually but cheap place to stay not too far from the hospital McDonald's Burger King got a Food Lion you got another place to shop right at the Food Lion you got a place to work out right across there from Food Lion it's not a bad deal if you look at the price and everything you need to do is around you everything you want to do is around you as well hope this helps hey give me a thumbs up :-) anything you want to help me out and let me get some some more badges I'm just starting out thank you for reading lumstyle out'.

Much cheaper and way nicer than other local hotels. Cheapest one too. Recently redone rooms. Flat screen TV, tile floors, mini fridge and micro.

Never again will I go there they have roaches all over the walls the towels were dirty the tub was cracked the shower curtain was ripped the bed sheets were burnt with cigarette holes it was just a total dump

At my affordable budget. Great thanks, Avi, the owner. I had a fear in life of walking into an empty hotel room only to find a stranger already waiting in the room. I told my special needs support network I plan to embrace the chance to be here for at least a 1-5 rest period being an extended stay. I am taken back by the beautiful lamp, two chair table, portfolio mirror, new tile floor, AC/heat, trash pick-up (mostly water bottles while confident my food lasts for the month #DHHSSNAP), International cable TV, no-fuss, working card entry, bureau same style to the one I had in 1972 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts 01420, pictures on the wall which I found flabbergasting, and best able to watch the sunset before falling into an absolutely comfortable bed, never forgetting to have hot 💦 and a college dorm size refrigerator with freezer. 🐦🎵💤✌️🤟 Julia P.

In my opinion this place should be tore down COMPLETELY!! The staff I encountered had the worse attitude I have ever encountered in hospitality. Upon check in we couldn't even get into the building. We sat and watched the staff asleep. We finally are able to check in but of course she has a nasty attitude the entire time. Oh include she looked like she was HIGH of some sort. The room was disgusting. The entire bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold n roaches. The smell was sickening to my stomach. It smelled like a straight sewer system. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were sleep. It's ur business you should get up when you have a upset customer. So seems the owners only care bout the money that flows in!!!! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

People have a real uncommon way of trying to bring someone or something down always. I am well acquainted with the owners and employees. They all try their hardest to accommodate anyone new and old to the establishment by being generous, offering what they have and honestly providing everyone with more than enough expectations required of them. Some of these people like to lie on others because either can't pay their rent or just the obvious such as having dogs and living in their own filthy habits with feces from animals and not being clean themselves and that's the truth .
