This used to be my favorite restaurant until they changed their recipes. The fried chicken tenders are my favorite dish and they decided to change the breading recipe. The new recipe is terrible and the breading is spicy. I think changing these recipes was a mistake. The food may have changed but the staff is still great! They were very nice and accommodating to the issue. The only problem is the food. The picture order is original then new. You can tell the difference. Update: I talked to customer service finally and was able to have a normal conversation with someone. I understand the change but I highly recommend them going back to the original breading recipe. The new one is not good. I haven't been back to check if it has returned but if it has I would definitely start eating there again.

I haven't been to a cracker barrel to eat in so long, I couldn't really remember if it was good or not. The store they have is very eye catching, lots of pretty things that pop out and make you wanna walk around and look at each thing. The staff here was very sweet, energetic, and helpful. They made the experience better. The food was really good, very hot & tasty. I loved the dill ranch that came with the chicken tenders. They have so many different options to choose from. I really enjoyed their new fruit stand tea as well. I wanna go back and see what their meatloaf tastes like next time. Thank you for the lovely lunch.

Cutest little place and very clean! I loved the little shop inside with so many cute items! From clothes, to ornaments, to mugs and candies they had a lot of things in the store u can purchase. The food was pretty good and the drinks were as well! My only complaint would be that the service was excruciatingly slow! We were there for two hours to get breakfast! Other people that sat after us were served before us, and our order had a bunch of issues. However, our server was extremely accommodating, sweet and professional about the whole thing! It was a nice place to go, but hoping next time the service isn't so horrible

So I've been to many Cracker Barrels and usually always have good service. But today was a little bit different there was a young waiter there his name is Yancy. What's an incredible person never made us feel rushed was very personable it really made sure we had everything that we needed. My wife and I hope to come back soon and hopefully he is here because he is definitely our go-to waiter from now on

Buffalo Buttermilk Ranch Mac N' Cheese Flavor - 9/10 Quality - 5/10 Value - 8/10 Service - 7/10 Girl date with my ma ❤️ Soooooooo.... Kudos to the hostess! She sold me on this before I even sat down. It's like two of my favorite things rolled into one! The flavor was great on the chicken, the sauce, and the mac and cheese. There were some slightly chewy parts of the chicken that implied they were previously frozen. I'm kind of particular about that 🤢 so that is the only reason quality was a 5. Service was super friendly but it felt like it took forever to get a water refill (only one and it was at the end of the meal), and I had to go in to get the bill because I was tired of waiting. Other than that 👍🏻👍🏻.

It started with check in .... after a 15 min wait on a 10 min estimated time I went to che k on our status for 2 . Go figure it was ready WITHOUT said txt . After being seated with just menus I had to go ask for our server. I was told he had a tablet issue!! 20 min ??!! No introduction? No hey im having system issues?? No water!? ..the drinks came watered down sweat tea was nothing to right home about same for the Arnoldpalmer that looked like water... next our food came ... well my companions did complete mine with just my eggs and bacon no French toast..... I had to ask for my complete meal ..... that alone took a minute as im sure it had to cooked. Then I got it .... one the quality of the food has gone away ..... it looked like sandwich bread... it was burnt on one side and on some nothing was done. I then went to the hostess stand again this time to ask for a manager that never came ... after another 15 min our server asked did we need anything... yes a manager.... a manager quickly came and with much trained compassion listened to our issues and comped our meals .... thats why I gave it 2 stars .... not the quality I expected or remembered.

Waited 40 minutes for food that never arrived, so I went looking for the manager and as I walked by the kitchen they were all fighting and yelling at the cook. I went to the front and an employee pointed out a young woman as the manager but she looked like early teens, so I saved my grace and just walked out, headed to an "All you can eat buffet" where the food is HOT AND WAITING ON ME.

The food is good but this Cracker Barrel has become the worst. We waited for 30 minutes without a server and then went up to the cashier to place a to go order and they brought it to us to eat in the dining room. No service at all. This an embarrassment to the Cracker Barrel brand. They really need to go ahead and replace their servers with kiosks.

Staff and atmosphere was great. Our server was amazing. The food was decent. The fried chicken breast pieces were good but didn't stand out flavor wise. Tender and crunchy was a plus. The fried okra was ok, bland on the flavor. Cornbread was dry and flavorless. Biscuits were better than the cornbread. It's a decent place to grab a bite but there are better options for sure

Cracker barrels are pretty consistent. Good food. Ample parking. With plenty of seating.

I have eaten at CB a number of times and been happy with choices, prices and service. On a recent (1-26-22) visit,with only a few tables in use. I waited patiently for my server (I was his 3rd table in his section). It was 4:30 in the afternoon. I ordered my meal of roast beef, potatoes, and carrots, with coffee. After a while, I was served the coffee. Then later, the server came later and explained that they just ran out of roast beef. Reminder: it is still early in the dinner service. The server should have been told immediately by the kitchen staff of the entree shortages. When I couldn’t pick a new entree, I said I would just drink the coffee. To my surprise and disappointment, I was presented with a bill for $3 for the coffee. When I questioned it, the server said he would “talk to the boss”. I just paid and left.maybe I will just go when it’s busier.

My sister and I went to Cracker Barrel on Thanksgiving. We are not aware that they only had a limited menu and our server was not at all accommodating. Garrett. Very condescending. The manager apparently saw the look on my face and approached. We explain to him the situation and he sincerely apologized and immediately got us a different server. He corrected or drink order and checked on us several times. He did not make any excuses he simply stated that everything we had experienced was un acceptable and not in line with Cracker Barrel philosophies or policies. He made us feel like he actually cared about our circumstance and situation. We ordered off the limited menu as were required but as we finished our meal he brought out two pieces of grilled catfish to go and slid it over to us with a wink and said again how sorry he was and hoped that we would be back tomorrow. We didn’t go back the next day but if it were not for him we probably never would’ve gone back. We do not remember his name but he was a tall drink of water w dimples. Cracker Barrel should be a little more selective with the servers they hire.

Always good, good food, good service and still not crazy pricing. This time I had something I've never had before... Chicken Pot Pie... it was really tasty... could have had less potatoes and more carrots and peas... but the chicken was adequate and tender. It was a nice change from the normal breakfast that I get. Just the right amount and the crust was perfect. Give it a go for yourselves, I believe you'll be happy.

Our waiter was the best! The cooks were NOT! My mother n laws chicken and dumplings were way too salty, i thought she was going to have cardiac arrest!! They need to do a re-evaluation on how the restaurant is ran!! They were short staffed and the manager needs to step up to the plate and handle that restaurant better and more efficiently! We won't be back. I hope the waiter we had finds a better job at a more upscale restaurant. He definitely is highly qualified!!

Wonderful food at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is exceptional, especially when you are sitting you elders, they remember everything on the walls. The gift shop isn't outrageous, especially for some of the unique things you find, however the toys are very overpriced. NEVER had a bad experience with a server. And thank you for letting the elder in our group sit in front of the fire. Although she couldn't see it, it's warmth brought the image clearly into mind.

Just had one of the best brunches ever. With a party of 5, we had ordered 6 dishes. Everything came out so good! Perfect biscuits (light fluffy and moist), phenomenal sided (especially the hashbrown casserole), and all the proteins were perfectly cooked. I was even surprised by how my scrambled eggs were served, medium as I requested. Many cooks often overcook the eggs in many brunch restaurants , so this was a pleasant surprise. I've visited many Cracker Barrel Restaurants in many states, but this location food was the best. Keep up the great work! Service was good too!

I went yesterday expecting the special of the day which was the turkey first off they did not have the turkey, second, there were at least three tables that had plates still on them and we're not picked up. The waiter was fine I ordered something else. While I was eating two more people left and nobody picked up the empty plates stuff on the floor. When I went to pay my bill the cashier asked me how my experience was and I told her about the mess in the dining area Caswell I want to talk to the manager after thinking about it I said yes after about 10 minutes the manager finally came out his name was Terrence and I told him about it and he said the waiter wasn't doing his job and I told the manager you're not doing your job because look at this mess you have in this whole restaurant well his attitude was that he really could care less about it so I'll probably will not be going back there again and I have been going to that same restaurant since it opened

Had an amazing breakfast this morning. I ordered the Bacon & Egg Hashbrown Casserole and it was DELICIOUS! Felicia was our server amd she was very helpful and attentive.

Food was delicious. I would say service was great but they kept rushing us. There were 7 of us and the manager came over and told us that we had been there for a really long time. Even telling us down to the minute how long we had been there. The check was well over $100 but I guess at this Cracker Barrel you should eat and go no time for conversation.

Good food at a reasonable price with a great old time feel. Only bad thing I can say is some of the staff don't check on the customers enough. When we got there they was prompt with the drinks and then also with our food order but it was taking between 5 and 10 minutes to get refills.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the best. My family and I decided to dine at this location last night. We stood at the host stand for 10 minutes which was a little longer than usual but we understood it was Valentine’s Day so no big deal. Once seated, we waited for our waiter. Our waiter took our drink orders and food orders at 7:12pm. I ordered the new spiked strawberry lemonade (which was watered down and just not up to par). We didn’t receive our food until 8:02pm. A couple sitting next to us placed their order while we were being seated. They received their order, finished their food and paid their bill before we received our meals. When we received our food we didn’t have any silverware so we had to wait an additional 10 minutes. Our waiter tried his best but unfortunately, he did not receive any help for the 6-7 tables he had to wait on. Our food was cold and soggy. It was too late at night to try to find another restaurant to go to with my children on a school night. I definitely suggest, making sure all tables receive silverware when they’re seated and more staff.

On Sunday, we woke up late in the morning and for quick breakfast we decided to visit Cracker Barrel Old Country for breakfast. It is an amazing restaurant with beautiful decor and amazing service plus food. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted at the front check-in and then seated on our tables. We were soon greeted by our server Greta with menus and water. After browsing through the menus we first started our order with Tea and Coffee. For breakfast we ordered Grandma's Sampler along with Smoky Grilled Chicken Breast. Soon we got our Tea and Coffee. Coffee was hot and freshly roasted. Tea was also good and hot. Soon we got our breakfast also which was Grandma's Sampler and Smoky Grilled Chicken Breast. The Grandma's Sampler was delicious and the portions was also amazing. Really loved the sampler. Then we had smoky grilled chicken breast. The chicken was cooked with good amount of spices and it was tasty and finger licking. Amazing chicken breast. I recommend you to definitely try Smoky Grilled Chicken breast. Amazing place to have delicious breakfast.

I had a delicious New Years day breakfast that was such very well prepared. Waiter was very friendly and helpful with selection and service was stellar.

Restroom cleanliness was not up to usual Cracker Barrel standard, but otherwise a good visit. Staff was friendly and food was hot and fresh. He wasn't our waiter and only dropped off our food, but Luis had a permanent smile on his face and a friendly vibe that was greatly appreciated!

Food was great. Service was great. Had a good time.

What is left that has not already been said about this southern institution of the American highways. Always there for the hungry and weary travler, ever present for the families of the south. With good food, pleasant associates and a rockin country style store chock full of eclectic goodies and seasonal sundries. It seldom disappoints and has delighted my family and I for decades. A very helpful and agreeable young man named Ali was our steward today. This one located at Fowler and Bruce B. Downs. Top notch as usual.

Customer service was good. Food was ok. Drinks were so good. The wait time was a bit long but I enjoyed looking around the store.
