The best thing that has happened to Luverne MN in decades!

The July 4th fireworks were awesome! My family really enjoyed it! Great time 💙❤

This is a nice place to visit in the summer when temps are high. I spend time here swimming as well as tanning and reading a good book. It does get very crowded after/around dinner time on hot days. It is usually much less crowded in the early afternoon.

Very nice park and sandy beach. Grandkids had a blast.

Even though The Lake has been around for a few years, it's great to finally have a local destination for swimming! So happy to see it cleaned up and being used.

The lake presents a good curb appeal, there's a relatively nice park space, but little shade. The sand beach is construction sand and therefore coarse and irritating. The lake itself is a repurposed drainage pond, and has been stocked with fish. This gives the lake a disgusting dead fish smell. I entered quickly because it was a hot day and didn't realize how nasty the water was until I had completely submerged my body. I have never felt such an intense and immediate need for a shower.

Great little lake for a quick family outing. You can enjoy it for an hour or stay and play all day in the water.

Great camping. Nice in town lake. Amazing location. Full amenities.
