Nice B&B, unfortunately the parking was full so we needed to park a few minutes away. Highly recommended.

What an amazing find. With just four bedrooms, this impeccably restored property is in the perfect location for exploring this beautiful City. With the warmth of welcome and the genuine concern to meet the needs of the traveller, Francoise was the perfect hostess. The 6foot bed was extremely comfortable and the large space beautifully furnished. Lots of helpful tips on local eateries and bars are available in room. And despite its Central location is in a quiet position set back from the road. Many thanks

The rooms are lovely, the beds are comfortable, the whole hotel built into the rock face is quirky and cool. Very nice service. The breakfast was a little disappointing though.

My wife and I stayed during an wedding anniversary trip; was an absolutely lovely experience. Françoise was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again in the future. The room had plenty of space and the uniqueness of the B&B being built into the side of the valley rock wall created a wonderful charm to the room. Would recommend getting the breakfast in the morning; Françoise prepared a fantastic meal. The hotel is in a great location too, right next to the elevator up to the Justice Quarter of the Old City, and across the street from the 23 bus stop to the train station. For traveler awareness, there is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage be prepared to take it up a few flights unless you book on the first floor. Also, there is no air conditioning, which we knew beforehand. This was not a problem for us as the weather was unusually cool when we were there (June) and Françoise had a oscillating fan in the room. All in all, the uniqueness, intimacy, and location of La Pipistrelle made for a fantastic stay.

I stayed one night with my daughter. Hotel owner was very friendly and helped us a lot. Quality of the room and services are excellent. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I have a chance to go to Luxembourg.

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel from the beautiful welcome from Olivia, who was just a pleasure to meet Our room was beautiful, immaculately clean and very nicely decorated, we had a very comfortable stay and wonderful breakfast. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel, in our view the best place to stay. Thank you Olivia, your customer service was second to none. We’ll be back. Liz & Bob Bloos Red Deer AB Canada.

Fantastic place, it's built into the side of the cliff and newly renovated. Fantastic view from the balcony. The room is only accessible by stairs and there is no door on the bathroom. Good for couples.

The bed and breakfast is beautiful right next to a lift to the high part of the old city. Built into the rock, it was a perfect place to stay.

Stayed 1 night this week, for The Smile concert. Wish we’d had more time to explore beyond the area. The location is out of a fairy tale. Beautiful hotel, the owners were very helpful and accommodating. We had the room on the first floor (2nd by US numbering) and our 3 young adult kids were on the third. The rooms are very comfortable and large, including the bathrooms. Our kids were not real comfortable showering with the lightly fogged glass, so they timed it such that they each had a turn while the others were out. Just be aware. The breakfast was wonderful and was a great send off for our flight to London. I hope to go back!

Very nice place. Clean, modern boutique style furniture. Theres cake and cookies and candy in the hallway. The breakfast is nothing more then adequate but pricy. Apparently the rooms go for 220eur and up which is expensive with only someone onsite during the daytime and no other services. However we got it for 100eur for 2 persons on a booking site which made everything very nice for that price in that location.

Grund is probably my favourite neighborhood in Luxembourg. This B&B is carved into the rocks that support the city above. It's a modern, charming place that feels unusual due the exposed rock walls inside. There are only a few rooms and we had the one at the very top. After flight delays lugging a lot of luggage up the narrow stairs and spiral staircase was exhausting. This was the only negative as the room was lovely. hopefully we'll revisit one day, with less luggage.

What a quirky little hotel in a beautiful part of Luxembourg. Tucked in a small corner looking over the old town. The room on the fourth floor is a bit of a trek with cases and has a narrow spiral staircase, but this adds to the quirks of the place if you don’t mind these things. The rooms are very well presented though and breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The main public lift to the city centre above is just round the corner. The hotel would suit couples who like something a bit different.

Great hotel built onto a cliff face which shows through in places and adds to the charm. Well situated by the public lift which links uptown with downtown and is a fantastic base to discover the the delights of Luxembourg City. We had a memorable weekend. Well recommended...
