First
time
visiting
Ryodo
for
our
anniversary
dinner
and
had
high
expectations
given
the
Michelin
rating
and
rave
reviews.
My
partner
and
I
each
had
the
sushi
menu,
priced
at
156€
per
person.
Overall
the
quality
and
flavour
of
the
food
was
extremely
disappointing
and
I
can’t
comprehend
how
they
earned
their
Michelin
star.
One
of
my
partners
dishes
was
served
with
a
hair
in
it;
this
was
immediately
replaced
but
no
other
explanation
or
compensation
was
offered
aside
from
an
‘oops,
sorry’
which,
given
the
price
tag
and
rating
for
this
restaurant
is
shocking.
I
understand
mistakes
can
happen
but
finding
a
hair
in
a
dish
at
a
Michelin
ranked
restaurant
and
being
given
a
sheepish
sorry
is
simply
unacceptable.
We
tasted
several
different
sake’s,
one
of
which
was
warm
and
served
in
the
traditional
short
glasses
and
while
pouring
this,
the
waiter
spilled
half
the
glass
on
the
table.
The
sake
soaked
table
was
wiped
but
again,
no
attempt
was
made
to
replace
what
had
been
spilled
leaving
my
partner
with
barely
half
of
what
I
received.
Considering
what
they
charge
per
glass,
we
were
shocked.
The
staff
are
friendly
and
the
atmosphere
of
the
restaurant
is
nice
but
nothing
you
wouldn’t
expect
in
your
average
restaurant
here
in
Luxembourg
or
anywhere
else.
Generally
very
disappointed
with
our
experience
and
wouldn’t
return
or
recommend
this
restaurant
to
anyone,
especially
guests
who
are
accustomed
to
fine
dining.
Much
needed
improvements
to
flavour,
hygiene
standards
and
service
if
they
want
to
live
up
to
a
Michelin
experience.
