When we looked up again, we could see the top so we got the cable car up. We spent the most incredible few hours drinking in the views. We had hot Gluiwein from the cafe. We fed the birds with some nuts we had, they eat from your hand. The cog train wasn't working, it was just the cable car. Incredible views when it's clear of cloud.

Absolutely gorgeous views, great hiking, about 4 hours to top or cable car alternative. Fun activities such as ropes course and alpine sledding. Food is overpriced, bring a picnic. It was very warm when we visited but it can get windy so dress accordingly.

The mountain is amazing, it was bit foggy when we went up so you can hardly see what is around the mountain. We used the cog wheel shuttle going up and then the gondolas going down. There are breaks in the fog and you can really see how nice it is up there. There are hotels, restaurants and a gift shop up there a well. A lot of activities can be had around the mountain. The playground is amazing. 10 Francs to get here one way. I recommend to do this stop if you have kids. The way up to the top can be done if you really want. But the kids will not like to leave this playground area.

This place looks really awesome during high season with tons of activities. However, during early May we paid ~70 CHF per person to see only fog. We will need to visit Switzerland again for a rectified experience.

You have to show the Swiss travel pass and say “1 way” at the cable car ticket office or they will book you for a round trip. There is a clean bathroom in the parking lot area too. The mountain is gorgeous. We dressed lightly for August. There are restaurants at the top and bathrooms too.
