Had a great lunch. Food came out delicious. Drinks were made quick and were also great. Loved the frozen strawberry mango margarita. Definitely recommend 👌

After a fairly busy Saturday, we decided on a whim to dine at Applebee's for dinner, and were pleased that we did. We arrived in the late afternoon/early evening and we were seated immediately in the moderately crowded restaurant. Our server was extremely pleasant, and brought our drinks promptly, and allowed us some time to choose from a varied menu. For appetizers, we ordered Brew Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip, and a bowl of tomato basil soup. The former consisted of four soft and hot pretzel sticks with the dip and a side of delicious honey mustard sauce. There was plenty of dip available even after the pretzels were devoured. The soup was also delicious and highly recommended. The main entrees were pretty good. The 4-cheese Mac and Cheese with honey pepper chicken strips was adequate, but somewhat bland. I had to really mix up the pasta, as all the cheese sauce rested at the very bottom, and I didn't even taste the pepper flavor on the strips, which had more batter than chicken. Once the pasta was tossed, cheese sauce was more pronounced and saved the meal otherwise. The Oriental Grilled Chicken salad was decent, but unlike the pasta, was a tad salty. Strawberries were added, which fortunately offset the saltines, and again, turned out to be adequate. If there were a 3½ star rating, I would have chosen that. Overall, the meal was decent, but some improvements could be made. We didn't regret our dining choice, but with a lot of competing restaurants in the immediate area, we probably won't visit again for a while.

During a business trip I ate there twice for dinner. The ribs were dry, but everything else was good. It was casually busy, but kinda quiet and peaceful. The staff was fantastic so please tip well.

Extremely good service for being short staffed. Gillian was great. She was friendly and fast. The manager here tonight was great. He knew they only has 2 servers and had some people wait before they were seated which was awesome. A manager that knew the ability of his wait staff. He was also serving tables as well. This manager definately knows how to run this place. Its very seldom that I see managers seat only what they can handle. By doing so the customer experience was great.

I’m very concerned and disappointed by this location. I love Applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad, clearly even by the menu photo, shows crispy chicken with the “option” to sub grilled chicken. When the bill arrived they charged us $3.99 each for the chicken on the salad! We were clearly told by the server that this was their charging policy and that multiple complaints went unheard and unchanged. Your salad comes with chicken, it is NOT extra! So says your menu, menu picture and all on line menus. What scam are you trying to pull on your customers. This is false advertising. If you want to charge more, change your pricing. If you advertise with chicken you cannot charge extra. Customers please check your bills every time! How many people have paid this because they didn’t check or know better. Shame on Applebees if this truly is your policy!

Food was delicious! Staff was great!

Ordered the 2 for $32 which comes with a sharable appetizer and 2 entrees. You can compare the chicken bite appetizer we received to the picture from Applebee's Online Menu. Skimpy on the bites and celery, although tasty. The Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp dinner was very good and served piping hot.

I came here and the whole staff was rude except Cole. The only reason we enjoyed our time was because Cole went out of his way for us. I have severe allergies and he made sure to accommodate these when it seemed like an inconvenience for everyone else.

Came for a relaxing night out with my friends for probably like the 5th time this year. We are all of age and have ordered drinks at this location several times previously without an issue. We were told they were using a new machine and our legal issued IDs (which are out of state) were not acceptable. The manager was accusatory and very unfriendly about the matter. Will not be dining at this location again.

normally have a great time at this location. today however, my friends were denied drinks because their legal licenses wouldn’t scan, our food was lukewarm and portions were smaller than normal (barely enough chips to eat my dip with) and they tried to charge our table full prices during half-apps. rlly sad to see this place go down hill :/

I ordered a gluten free entree. They are labeled gluten sensitive. Grilled chicken breast with cheddar cheese, Spanish rice. The chicken breast was a good portion and very juicy and delicious.the rice was an ample portion and very spicy. My partner ordered the cheeseburger quesadilla, honey bbq bonus wings and side salad. He enjoyed the burger, which had bacon and tomato. His side salad was lacking in tomatoes, but otherwise good. Our waitress was very nice, and helpful.

The Applebee's in Wilkes-Barre has a much better layout & atmosphere than the Dickson City location. The service was prompt & friendly. The food was good but the fries & onion rings had a zing taste that usually stems from the oil needing to be changed.

Applebee's has really come up over the years! I tried the "Asian Chili" full rack of ribs, and man they were GOOD. Also Applebee's has an exclusive Mountain Dew flavor they serve there called Berry Bash, which kids seem to really love. Food was delicious, waitresses were friendly. Seriously, 5 stars all around!

The lady's working afternoon shift 7.3.2023 were amazing. They went above and beyond. Every single employee offered a sincere smile and made us feel welcome.

Rebecca was awesome! Prompt with greeting us, drinks, appetizers, our meals--perfect and hot (cooked as asked)! She brought to go containers and to go drinks! She earned her double tip! We will be back!

Idk why we bother ordering from here anymore as almost every time theres an issue! 2 for 24....should say 2 for 35. 6oz med rare steak, arrived rare and was all ligaments. Tried to salvage some of the steak, hurting my hand in the process, to have something for dinner since the garlic mashed potatoes were somehow missing. The quality seems to get worse every time we order. Would have gave a lower rating but my son loved his food. Will probably never order or visit again!

Lack luster food, small portions, and slow/poor service. No manager present. If you are reading this, I'd head somewhere else...

Heard that catchy song 🎵 just came out the woods from camping w my husband. We stopped for lunch food was delicious, and what a surprise my nephew and girlfriend were working hard. So proud of those kids. Definitely will be eating more often

From the moment we were seated it was wonderful .... now I know we all know these establishments are chains and may never go quite the same but this was the best time I have had at an applebee's since entering adulthood 😆. Our server Annarose was very cheerful and vibrant and also very attentive and thoughtful she even refreshed the drinks well before they had run out and remembered I had wanted another lemonade flavor so she asked me if I wanted to try the other or stick with the flavor I had initially. We were pleased with the service from the wait staff as well our food came out appetizers first we had the sampler (cause you can never go wrong with variety) the only thing missing was a sour cream but that was easily mended so no qualms there. We weren't too far into enjoyment of the appetizers when our main courses had shown up. I came for the 1$ shripm with the any steak entrée (we were originally going to do a 2 for 30$ but the rules unbeknownst to the consumer no 1$ shrimp when picking the steak entrée). Needless to say I was amazed I asked for a medium rare steak and got just that my entrée was the Steak parm with the shrimp (I love shrimp/seafood ok 🤣 don't judge me) my only minor issue is there was not a lemon wedge for my 1$ shrimp and I didn't ask for one but I probably could/should have. Hubby got the Bourbon Chicken Shrimp entrée we ate till our bellies were just about full and still had leftovers to box and take home of both the appz and the entrées. Thank you Applebee's for the lovely birthday dinner. I couldn't have been happier with my visit and my food as well as pristine service. I appreciate you and your hard work (as a former bartender, food and beverage indusry worker and also the child of a single mother whom waited tables and did banqueting most of my life) I was astonished as well as impressed keep up the good work.

Every time we go there the servers have always been fantastic! If there has ever been a problem its been taken care of immediately and without hassle. Even when our group has been a party of 12! Always great food, service and atmosphere!

Whoever the bartender was on Tuesday night, 9/13, should be recognized. I sat at the bar where there was only one other person and this bartender was absolutely incredible. She was kind, personable, and just a fantastic human being. We got talking for a while and she was so sweet, and even talked me into getting a pretzel and another beer. She made the company more money than I was intending to spend, and she made a lasting impression on me. I am traveling from out of town, and she made a very bad day I had at work a little bit better with her personality. Highly recommended and I will be back at this location anytime I am in PA. The receipt has the name "ANNAROSE D" on it. Truly exceptional.
