We
just
moved
here
and
a
diamond
fell
out
of
my
engagement
ring
while
unpacking.
Staples
was
highly
recommended
on
our
neighborhood
Facebook
group,
so
my
husband
called
around
Christmas
and
asked
about
getting
the
Diamond
replaced.
They
stated
that
the
gentlemen
who
does
repairs
was
on
vacation
and
wouldn’t
be
back
until
after
the
first
of
the
year.
Fair
enough.
I
brought
my
ring
in
as
soon
as
they
opened
on
Thursday,
January
5th,
and
the
lady
who
helped
me
was
very
pleasant,
but
seemed
new.
She
kept
walking
back
and
forth
to
speak
to
the
gentlemen
in
the
back
to
answer
my
questions
(Jake)
instead
of
him
coming
out
to
speak
to
me
himself,
which
I
found
kind
of
rude.
Finally,
he
came
out
and
said
he
was
a
little
behind
on
quotes
and
they’d
have
to
keep
my
ring
for
a
few
days
to
get
a
quote
to
me.
He
told
me
I’d
get
a
quote
potentially
the
next
day
(on
a
Friday)
or
early
the
next
week.
Tuesday
afternoon,
I
called
because
I
still
hadn’t
heard
back
and
they
had
possession
of
my
ring
for
four
full
working
days.
I
received
a
call
back
from
a
lady
stating
that
he
was
still
behind,
but
I
was
guaranteed
the
quote
the
next
day.
Wednesday
came
and
passed
without
a
quote
or
communication,
so
Thursday
morning,
I
walked
in
and
requested
my
ring
back.
The
gentlemen
who
greeted
me
was
very
friendly
(didn’t
get
his
name,
but
he
had
long,
dark
hair).
I
explained
the
situation
to
him
and
he
apologized
and
said
they’d
get
my
ring
back
to
me.
Jake
came
around
the
corner
and
recognized
me
and
said,
“Your
ring
is
first
on
my
list
today.”
I
told
him
I
was
no
longer
interested
in
receiving
a
quote
and
wanted
my
ring
back.
He
got
very
defensive
saying
he
told
me
it
would
be
about
a
week,
which
was
not
accurate.
He
also
told
me
he
skipped
lunch
the
day
prior
because
he
was
working
all
day
trying
to
further
justify
his
mistake.
I
told
him
I
would
have
appreciated
a
text
or
call
explaining
the
second
delay
in
what
I
was
originally
promised
and
he
said
he
didn’t
have
time
to
make
phone
calls
and
again
told
me
he
didn’t
eat
lunch
the
day
prior.
I
got
my
ring
back
and
ended
up
taking
my
business
to
another
local
jeweler
who
treated
me
with
more
respect
and
got
me
a
quote
while
I
waited.
I
try
to
support
local,
family
owned
businesses
and
I’m
sure
Staples
would
have
done
great
work,
however,
their
communication
and
timeliness
was
lacking.
It
should
not
take
over
a
week
to
get
a
quote
back
and
if
this
is
the
case,
that
should
be
communicated
to
the
customer
upfront.
I
will
not
be
returning
to
this
business.
