Great place for fresh air and workout

I like the historical aspects of this place as well as the 174 steps it takes to get up here. . The only down side (unfortunately) is that there were discarded hypodermic needles laying around, so I definitely will not go there near or after dusk.

An interesting site to visit. It was well kept and clean when I visited! The long stairs to reach it will definitely help you to get your steps in for the day! I would love to visit when the observatory is actually open and you can go inside. Even without it being open it is peaceful and has gorgeous views to take in while you relax on the balcony! I didn’t go into the actual park area but from what I could see of it it looked nice as well.

Very nice views 9f Bostob, Lynn, and surrounds. Local high dpot, good for ham radio. No amenities.

We could not up the tower, but you get a decent view from the balcony on the base despite the numerous trees. Just wish there was more interesting things on skyline and better parking (only 5 spots on the circle drive)

What a great vantage point to just sit and take in the sites, relax and breathe the fresh air, gain some solitude.

Very cool structure sits high off the edge you can see out in the water just be aware of your surroundings ours GPS had trouble finding the parking lot

Cool place to visit and a few times a year you can sign up to go into the observatory

I would have rated 5 stars if the playground was a but better with out graffiti and no beer cans every where... Vut the views are absuletly the best in town

Best place to seat and meditate or do some active workouts that may give you hiking feeling

I hung around there years ago as a teenager. Such beautiful views. I only wish we’d been able to go in the tower like they can now. So glad to see it’s been fixed up. ♥️

I Think this is my favorite tower in the world!😁 I Also Love The Radio Tower Next To The Tower. And It Blinks White In Morning And It Blinks Red At Night. So I Went Here Today At Friday November 25 2022. The FIRST Time I Went To High Rock Tower. I Had To Walk In The Stairs. Also I Saw Encore!!. My Mom's Favorite Restaurant. I Wanted To Go At The Top. But My Papa's Friend Kim Now Knows Who Has The Key!, I hope You Love This Review!!

The views are great from the base of the watchtower looking at Lynn and Nahant beach! The kids park is rundown though. The teens park is in better shape. It would be nice if they posted the hours when the watch tower is open. The area needs to be kept cleaner as the road, sidewalks, grass, and parks all had garbage strewn about them. The area could use a few more garbage cans nearer the play areas too.
