Great place to stop for lunch if you want yo avoid the craziness of the food court. My go to order is always a cup of the lobster bisque and a Asian Glazed Chicken Salad. The food is comparable to the Nordstrom cafes in Seattle and Bellevue, but the menu is different from the Nordstrom Grills. Service has always good. If you have the Nordstrom card, you can use your Nordstrom Notes at the restaurant.

Decent and expensive food for what it is. It lacks much atmosphere but is fine. I mainly want to take a moment to thank the bartender, potentially called Jason, he is a fast, efficient and hard worker who handles pressure well and works very well with coworkers. Being a bartender is fast work and he is neat and keeps the space clean. Thank you!

Went here as a destination for...our Anniversary because of great reviews. At first we were seated near the store and a dude shopping for cutting boards. Another couple shoppers and their children wandered through the section and we wondered if we'd made a poor decision. We asked if we could move to a table by the window, and they were happy to move us. Busy evening. Order took a bit, but served with kindness and a smile, and then the fabulousness began. My husband's crab bisque was good, French dip was very good. Caesar salad was standard fine. My raviolis. Oh my goodness! Some of the best mushroom raviolis ever. Great Parm mushroom sauce . Yellow/orange tomatoes were perfect with it. Super sweet waitress recommended the chocolate caramel cake. It was a real wow! Think T.J.'s chocolate ganache torte you can't get anymore, but even better in it's caramel yum. AND the cook seemed committed and long-time, so likely our next visit will be just as good. Super pleased to find another delicious place, especially since we lost some big favorites. Our main meals were under $20 lots of shared pizzas around us, and people seemed pleased.

I have eaten here often for years and just never thought to leave a review before but I need to because its awesome. Fantastic and creative specials, excellent cocktails. Such a friendly staff with stellar service. One of the best choices in the area!

One of our favorite lunch spots while shopping at Nordstrom. Food, as usual, was super & fresh with great options for brunch and lunch. Service was great & as expected. Was a bit taken back from the unnecessarily overpriced wine selection. A single glass of wine priced at $20 for white or red is a bit extreme. Granted, the labels are impressive and I’ve spent my share of money on high-end clothing at Nordstrom, but a single glass of wine outpacing the accompanying dish price makes one pause. Will return but buyer beware…

The food is great for a bistro type environment. It is more or less small plates, soups and sandwiches and also has a small bar. I have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. The prices are a little high for just an average lunch, but the service has always been top notch and the food is quite good. The drinks aren't bad either, but again, a little high on price.

Ate the wonderful Kung Poi Brussels Sprouts at Nordstom's Bazille cafe on the 2nd floor. Crispy leaves, tender inside, spicy and darn near perfection. I could not rate it a 5 stars, though. The floor was so slick, I started to "hydroplane" and lost my balance. Luckily there were things to grab hold of. Didnt fall but still kind scary. I'D DRIVE HERE FROM TULALIP JUST TO EAT THOSE AMAZING SPROUTS!!

Why haven’t I ever eaten here before? I didn’t even know this restaurant was on the second floor. The food is so delicious! Way better than most of the neighboring chain style restaurants. It’s also very clean and the staff are so kind. Unfortunately, it there can be a long wait for a table, so plan ahead.

Two of us came last Friday for dinner and had to flag down a waiter from another section to even acknowledge us and bring water after waiting for 20+ minutes. After our actual waiter arrived and took our order, we waited and watched as multiple groups who were seated after us receive their food. We had to again flag our waiter down to ask about our order status, and were told that the kitchen was understaffed. We were offered soup in the meantime which was comped, along with our salad and pasta entrees which we ended up taking to go. With the amount of time we had to wait to receive our food and for the inattentiveness of the staff, I would have rather the host told us the restaurant was at capacity instead of seating us and essentially ignoring us. We were there for close to 1.5 hours total. Our waiter apologized for the wait and said he hoped we'd give the restaurant another chance in the future. The problem is, this WAS the second chance we were giving Bazille! We'd been in before and were seated without even being given silverware or water, and after waiting for 20+ minutes, had to go up to the host station to ask when our waiter would be by. The food here is good, but the terrible service gives me absolutely no reason to want to come back and be treated so shoddily. I expect better at Nordstrom.

Loved it! I enjoyed my beyond burger & fries, along with a chocolate chip vanilla gelato for dessert..yum! Delicious meal with great customer service. Faith was friendly & very attentive. Visiting from out of area & my first time dining there.

Great restaurant, awesome food and drinks, great location very convenient, a lot of parking available, good menu, family friendly, awesome customer services and staff, GREAT grilled salmon, comfortable dining areas with comfortable seating.

There's a mad pizza scientist here who created a blueberry-goat cheese-arugula pizza. It was gorgeous and delicious with a mystery savory element I couldn't identify. Even the crust was an epicurean enigma. I ate the whole thing except for one slice that my friend ate. My friends loved their chicken tacos. Jerome served us like a rockstar, like he owned the place and like it was the easiest thing in the world to give us a great experience. Let's talk about that pizza again: I could literally taste the joy the chef put into it. I would drive 23 miles to see a movie at AMC 16 again just knowing that we can get a great meal here.

I eat here often because I pick up or return stuff at this Nordstrom often. Food at Bazille is generally very good, and quality is consistent. Menu offers a good variety and everything is good. The reason why I took one star away was because of the deterioration in service of its front desk. We were there a couple of days ago. The way we were greeted at the front desk was unacceptable! It was a younger guy who had an I-really-do-not-want-to-do-this attitude. He was talking to us while his head was turned the other way, and he started saying something to a coworker while we were still responding to him. Then, his coworker came closer and said something to him, and they started talking to each other, completely ignoring the fact that we were standing there. Ugh…so rude! Luckily our food was good and our server at the table was wonderful!

Food is so fresh and amazing! My favorite is the crab mango & avocado salad. Weekends are busiest I usually order online and pick up or go during the week when its less crowded. Service is always top tier.

The food was great, as usual. I have eaten here many, many times. This time, however, the little hostess was on a power trip. It was 1:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. As always, I requested a booth. She told me there was a 15 minute wait and I could sit at the counter or a table, but could NOT have a booth. There were an abundance of empty booths. As it turned out, the wait was less than 5 minutes. I told her I would wait, she still said no, but I could have a half booth. I said fine, that's okay. She seated me on the seam, where two benches joined. Very uncomfortable, but she was able to assert her power, so I assume she was happy. The service was good with the exception of no diet coke refill offered.

Food is different. Not my kind of food. Waited too long for our food.

I sat at the bar and the woman who helped me was fantastic! I didn’t catch her name but she was a great multitasker and when I ordered the fries and the cauliflower salad / green goddess salad, without egg or cheese she asked if I was vegan and double-checked a dressing swap to make sure I didn’t get buttermilk which is in the green goddess dressing. The food was great and the service was old school Nordstrom level.

This is Nordstrom's new cafe on the second floor at Alderwood. Complete with a full bar. Same menu for the most part, but what's with the new name ... and what does it mean?

1st off...it's a bit $pendy..but worth the treat...we had one of the BEST BURGERS in Puget Sound....so juicy... the cook knows NOT to press down on a cooking burger! I went up to him to compliment his burger...PERFECTION in every way! Our server...Amanda was lovely...Bravo Nordy!

I am an avid regular at Bazille and this visit was very uncharacteristic. I made a reservation for my son and I and we were sat in Ernesto section. At first, Ernesto seemed ok. Our order was promptly taken, and our drinks were out fast. After our food was delivered , everything went downhill. Ernesto never checked on us again. My food came out incorrect and my side was cold. I waited 10 minutes and had to have another server correct my order. After that, we sat with empty glasses and Ernesto never came back to refill our drinks. We had to grab a different server again to request refills. Once we were done with our food, we waited 15 minutes and had to grab another server for a 3rd time to give us our bill. Absolutely horrible service. I even requested to speak to a manager as I was not comfortable paying our bill due to the lack of service and incorrect order and the Manager did not even appear.

It was good overall but the stakes are not something you want to order or sprite it tastes like sparkling water. The workers are nice tho.

What I like: Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I find the in-store aspect of this restaurant charming—not as food court-y as you might expect—and I like that you have to do a little hunting to find it (even a little adventure is a big plus for me). The part I enjoyed most is the open kitchen concept, where cooks and customers can interact across the bar. I found the employees to be personable, professional, and just the right amount of chatty. At the end I gave my waiter a friendly slap on the back and felt immediately awkward about it… like, why did I just do that?? If you don’t guard your heart, they’ll get you feeling chummy. In terms of style, it’s what you’d expect in a Nordstrom’s, but in terms of food… Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So far the food is GOOD. On par with Anthony’s HomePort, though not as pricey (and better variety). The crispy chicken sammy had all the right proportions, and they even play around a bit with the flavors (a little blackberry-garlic aoli? Nice 👌 Not amazing, but I appreciate “different”). What I didn’t like: Style: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meh. It’s got that white, middle-class aesthetic. I get it: it’s the economical choice, but I think they could afford to go for a more unique vibe, maybe something that plays on its hiddenness? Apart from social atmosphere and convenience, there’s not a lot compelling me to want to be there. Still it deserves better than a 4.1. Closer to a 4.6 overall.

Never ever. Don't spend you time for waiting regular soup for 30 minutes, and money for this awful service. Worst service I ever tried last few years.

The customer service was wonderful and the place was clean and bright. Unfortunately the food I ordered fish and chips was so heavily seasoned with pepper that it nearly caused me to vomit...Just to be clear the staff was wonderful but the food inedible.

Blown away by how fresh and tasty their food always is at Nordstrom. Service is top notch and you know you're getting good quality food. Got the Salmon and Chicken Sandwich with herbed fries and oh so delicious and mouth watering. Will be back for sure! Pricing is pretty normal for the mall and they have a big cafe like seating area which gets filled up pretty fast.

The food here is always reliably good and the wait staff is always friendly and professional in this open kitchen style cafe. The kitchen staff, however, cooking and working alongside one another in full view of the guests, looked unhappy, and stressed. Not at all like a team that is aware of how their demeanor in that setting contributes to the dining experience of guests. We honestly felt kind of guilty for bothering them.

One of my favorites from the time they changed the name. I saw that they now had happy hours and decided to try their burger and it was excellent. And they always have nice servers.

Food was alright. However, the gnocchi and lamb ragu weren’t seasoned at all. It was as bland as the yogurt on the plate. I don’t know if it was forgotten, or if that’s usually how it is. I want to hope it was a one time thing.

Everything we had was delicious. The staff was friendly. We will be back.

Normally I would say 5 stars but I am so disappointed with the changes in the menu and with my favorite dessert item. The white chocolate bread pudding was the main reason I would go to this cafe and they used to give this amazing hugs dessert with perfect amounts to share for $10, now for $7 you can get a very depressingly sad piece of bread pudding that is about a 1/5 of the size (being generous) that isn't assembled with the love it used to be. Wait for almost a year to finally ne able to make it back and it was not worth it. Additionally they removed some of the classic salads and messed with some that were great as they were. Wish I could turn back time and warn them! Side note: the staff here are always amazing when I visit so that is a huge plus.
