Looking foe some Mexican food while vacationing in Virginia city Nv. I tried the steak taco salad , my wife had the Tamale and enchilada combination. My only knock was no spicy salsa. The food was excellent and we would definitely go back if in the area!

Really cute building in the historic district of Dayton NV. Outdoor seating in the back garden is so beautiful, a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. The food is very good, salsa is amazing too. My guy had the chili Colorado burrito... Enjoyed every bite, I had the 3 taco plate... Both came with rice and beans as well. So much food we both took half home. The employees are very friendly and helpful. We had Jeanette as a server... Very nice and funny!! I was very tired so forgot photos, but the food was presented nicely. Very enjoyable experience! ***Went to Compadres again this evening, I had the Empanada & Chile Relleno... Very good flavor profiles.

What a great Mexican restaurant in the Dayton historical district! We went in for lunch and the service was very personable and the food excellent! I had Enchiladas Verdes, which I consider myself an expert on. Outstanding! In warm weather they also have an outdoor dining patio. My friends loved the fish tacos too! Next time in Dayton, we will be back!

Compadres has some of the best soft Tacos! Their margaritas 🍹 with sugar instead of salt is really good! 👌 Their Waitresses are very attentive and are always in a good mood. Definitely a place to visit in Dayton, Nevada!

I walked in and immediately knew what was taking place here. Fresh ingredients plus love are being turned into delicious food. I got a to go order of the "shrimp rellano" and it was amazing. The beans and rice were masterfully prepared as well. I live quite far but id definitely make the journey just to eat here. The lovely ladies under that roof are making magic.

Small hole in the wall kinda place. But those are usually the best,as in the case of compadres. Awesome food,great service,neat environment and best of all GOOD MARGARITAS!!! best mex in Dayton. Thank the Lord for Compadres. I haven't found a place like this even in Carson City. Very much recommend. Been here many times and never a bad experience. The chimichanga with red sauce is great. The sampler platter is awesome. The salsa is good enough to drink. Haha. Love it!

Best food in Old Town Dayton, always love the place been eating there over the past 30 yrs. I hope they open a bigger place someday. The food is delicious, and beautiful portions, and local favorite for decades.

I had dinner with my daughter and her fiance at Compadres this evening for the first time and everything was excellent. Perfect amount of food and delicious margaritas. Even the water tastes good. The service was great too. I highly recommend it and I will be back.
