I recommend La Ventana! They offer a variety of tasty Argentinian empanadas, cookies like the "alfajores de maicena", or croissants with dulce de leche. They also have smoothies and vegan cookies. Claudia is very friendly and customer-oriented. She always takes the time to answer my questions and I've learned a lot about typical Argentinian food. The prices are very reasonable and everything is fresh and delicious! A lovely place.

The best empanadas in this area we had so far in Malaga. Nice and cozy place, so glad that we found that on our way home. The owner is super friendly, you feel from the first minute welcome. Muchas gracias!

Very tasty sweet and savory pastries, one of the best croissants in Malaga. However, food is very overpriced, I paid €42 for pastries and cake from the photo.

Claudia runs a great little shop with fair prices- it is certainly not a tourist trap like other places around this part of town. Her handmade empanadas (especially the humita) were delicious- simply delicious. Claudia was also very warm and welcoming to us in spite of our poor Spanish. I would sincerely recommend La Ventana to anyone staying near the city center of Malaga.

Inexpensive tasty little warm savoury pasties and other baked goods . Croissant way better than I've tasted elsewhere. Got a coffee and some great food and go sit in Plaza de Merced and watch the world go buy. Polite and helpful proprietress.

Very delicious, warm empanadas. The owner is very friendly and helped me practice my Spanish a little :) There are vegetarian options as well (with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms)

Friendly staff and good service. Really nice coffee. Nice croissants and good prices. Recommended for a quick stop for a morning coffee and a snack.
