Really bad and expensive! I could only choose from 2 wines, neither of them to my liking, still took a glass of crianza. Started with artichokes, which was decent but not above average. And got a steak for main. I had high hopes, the meat looked excellent in the display, but it was overcooked, and continued cooking on in the plate untill it was completely dry. The worst part though, was the potatoes i tried one mouthfull and it tasted of pulpo. I dont care to guess if it was from crosscontamination in the kitchen or from lacking cleaning of the terracotta (?) Tray my food was cooked and served in. The price was 60€ for this, making it both my most expensive and worst meal in malaga. In the same neighbourhood i eat brilliantly for 20-25€ including drinks.

Definitely a shadow on my trip to Malaga. So many kind people in this city but these owners are just dishonest. I sat down and they had me wait 45 minutes to be served. The chef ordered for me without giving me a menu saying that "he has something in mind." I never asked for two bottles of water ...I didn't ask for 40+ euros of meat! A typical (nice) dinner is €20! The owner was grumpy and made me feel like a nuisance at his restaurant, a tourist like any other. Totally felt trapped and my friend and I just marked it off as a tourist trap and moved on to enjoy the trip.

Dishonest staff. They selected meat for us without telling us the price. We waited 60 minutes to be served. The meat was overcooked. So disappointing. Don't recommend.

I've been here 3 times over the last 2 years and each time it has served excellent wine and excellent free tapas with the drinks order. I've told people about this place since I first went there and I'm glad to see my most recent visit in Oct 2019 did not disappoint. I think this is one of those traditional bars that will be hard to find amongst the glitzy restaurants in this area in the not too distant future

Cosy, friendly waiter, meat cooked to perfection, huge portions. What more can you ask for

Recommended by the hotel staff and it didn't disappoint! Our mixed grilled meats platter was very tasty. Friendly staff made for a nice and relaxing meal.

We had a lovely meal here. Everything was delicious and I would highly recommend the pork cheeks. The waitress who is also the owner was very pleasant, kind, friendly and gave us exceptionally good service in spite of how busy she was.

Good tapas although lacking in variety… You get the more usual ones that you can find almost anywhere. Although they open at 19:00, they don’t ask for orders until 19:30 (that’s when the kitchen opens for dinner) Many reviews mentioned the ribs so I had to try. The portion was big, but a little too salty for my liking. Unfortunately nothing too special ~

Open and available at times on which other restaurants nearby are closed or full. The beef cheeks here absolutely amazing. Medium priced.

The guy was terribly in a rush, not particularly friendly and bring only half of the stuff we ordered. The rest wasn’t available so half of the people had to watch the others eating and drinking.
