One of the few hotels that was above all my expectations, the hotel is super clean and modern, the staff is super friendly and they would go the extra mile specially Carlos he provided and exceptional service and went above and beyond to help me. The Location is pretty much close to everything, they have valet parking, the breakfast was good and they have not only buffet but a menu to order from which I really liked. They have all the amenities provided and the room had a balcony which is nice, and they charged my electric car for free. Overall exceptional experience they make you feel so welcome, even the housekeeping staff provided exceptional service. I thank all the staff working there and the management for providing such an exceptional experience, I have to come again.

Wow what a treasure of a hotel. Very deceiving from the outside. Look down when you enter the hotel!! Staff have been wonderful, the rooms are just so plush with good housekeeping. Ate in the restaurant, awesome pork dish! Breakfast is fabulous with lots of options available.

Great service, kind people, clean hotel and comfortable room. What else would someone ask? Oh maybe a pool... Well there is and a gym too. Really really nice!! Everything was excellent!!

A very cozy hotel indeed with beautiful staff. A big thank you goes out to Sandra who works at the Intremuros restaurant inside the hotel for her exemplary service. She's such a sweetheart. Also, big thank Yous go out to Pao, Samuela, and Alvaro for being so nice and so helpful as well. Keep up the great job everyone and hope to visit this beautiful place sometime soon on my next business trip to Málaga 🥰

I can’t quite put my finger on why I didn’t like this hotel but there was just something that didn’t add up. I think perhaps because it can’t work out for itself if it’s a city hotel or a resort hotel. I mean, the staff were all great, the breakfast buffet was very good, the location (on the edge of the old town) was fine and the room (we upgraded for a few euros extra a night) was large and soundproof and quite stylish. But overall this hotel just didn’t grab me. As others have mentioned the pool on the roof is mobbed - zero chance of getting a sun lounger so just had to sit around the edge, but at least it was very welcome to cool off. It’s weird - usually I have solid reasons for not liking a place but I just can’t put my finger on why this hotel did not grab me. There seem to be a lot of hotels in downtown Malaga and I think I would try them next time rather than come back here.

UPDATE: The general manager ( wouldn’t give me his name) refused to comp even 1 night stay stating that they believe they have “provided satisfactory service”. The front desk manager Eduardo was very nice and tried to help but said he couldn’t do much without the general manager’s approval. Don’t stay here if you want a good night sleep and good service. Unfortunately won’t be coming back here ever again and don’t recommend it, especially not at €250/night. Here’s why: In reality this hotel is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star price. Unfortunately the service was truly not up to standard. The staff speak very little English, which made it difficult to ask for even the smallest thing like a restaurant recommendation without Concierge who went home at 2pm and was hard to catch. The one time concierge made a recommendation and reservation for a night beach club/restaurant for us, we got there and the place was empty and our reservation was nowhere to be found. The food was terrible and we came back. Important to note that we travelled 20 mins each way and it cost €45 worth of taxis and our last night in Malaga. We had noise issues with the guests above us dragging furniture around at 8am every day and after 4 nights of telling front desk, it was not resolved and no solutions offered. We haven’t slept in 5 days while on a holiday. Finally, they kept taking our used towels from the floor and folding them back on to the shelf. We tried explaining this to front desk and they didn’t speak English to address the issue with the room service staff. Positives: -Location is central -Rooms are a good size -All the toiletries are Clarins -Friendly breakfast staff (even though we can’t speak to them) Room 120

Lovely hotel for access to old town sites . Very friendly and helpful staff. Asuncion, Sandra and Ingrid were amazingly efficient, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The room 230 was airy and beautifully clean and quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family wishing to see the sites of Malaga.

Super beautiful hotel in the center of Málaga. Very friendly service. They always help you with all of your questions and try to get the best information. The concierge service is also wonderful and super friendly. The hotel is built on very ancient walls who were from then 11th century and even older ones. You can visit them by your own. On the roof there is a sundeck and a pool. There is also a person who makes you drinks and cares about you. The room was very nice and big. The bathroom was clean and nice. Every day we‘ve got fresh water bottles. Only the gym is very small with less possibilities to practice different muscle groups. But this is not so important if you want to visit Malaga. It’s better to be outside and see the city and the beach 🏝️ 😊

I had a very pleasant day at the hotel. The staff was helpful and warmly welcoming. Both the service and the food left an unforgettable impression and contributed to an excellent experience. 100% recommendable!

An excellent hotel that exceeded our expectations in every way. Great room and facilities, but by far the best aspect was the staff. Excellent service, particularly from concierge Carlos whose thoughtful recommendations transformed our trip, and breakfast maître d’ Asuncion whose genuine care and attention brightened each morning for us. Would happily go back tomorrow!

Very nice hotel in the city center of malaga. The service was exzellent (we got an upgrade 😊), the breakfast extraordinary and the bed incredibly comfy (softest sheets ever and 4 different grades pillow softness!!). Stay was too short to check out the pool, though.

Our third visit to this Hotel. This time we had a room upgrade. Which was tremendous, as were absolutely ALL the staff throughout our stay. There has been a programme of redecoration, Unfortunately that didnt appear to extend to the bedroom floors. The car park is a very useful feature - amongst many others.

The hotel location places guests 10-15 minutes (walking distance) from the train station in one direction and all the historic sites in the other. The rooms are stylish, the hotel entrance is welcoming and the building offers a surprise bonus of ancient walls on display in the lower level that guests can enjoy. We opted out of breakfast, but it did look phenomenal. The room was spacious, stylish, clean, convenient with a great bathroom. The staff was amazing. They are kind, helpful and bright fully welcoming. Highly recommended.

The staff of this hotel are truly amazing! So friendly and professional. Okay, it's their job you may say, but I know people after working with service my whole life, and the staff of Posada del Patio have a genuine way of caring. I miss them all so much after staying only three nights there. I wish I will come back some day. 🥰 Really comfy beds, nice room layout and size, according to my preference anyway. I liked the breakfast as well, have photos on another phone so I'll try to upload if possible. Nice pool area, not too crowded while we stayed there. Enrique is/was a great pool bartender, too bad he moved on to another hotel. He made our stay there a good one! 🤙 Nice area, close enough to stores and various sites and attractions. We where 14 people staying there May 19-22, and it was a memorable stay. Many thanks from Ted in room 319 🙏🏻

This is one of the highly rated places on google but don’t really understand why. We stayed here for 6 days/5 nights as it was central and had good google reviews. My recommendation to anyone looking at this post is please stay away from this place and save yourself money and poor service. Except for a couple of people, this place has people that don’t care about service. I can give specific examples, but don’t want to make this an exhaustive post. You can judge a place by the way you are treated and we didn’t feel very welcome so please stay away

This hotel is lovely. The hotel staff the friendliest and most accommodating of any hotel I’ve ever stayed. Paola at the front desk was a doll and helped us so much with everything. The concierge was very friendly as well. The superior room we were upgraded to was spacious with lovely decor and had 2 showers. The gym was small but had enough things for a few good work outs. The pool on the rooftop is a decent size, definitely enough room for several people to cool off. The lobby area very pretty as well. 5/5 experience

It's an amazing hotel in the middle of Malaga, most of the main tourist attractions are in walking distance. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. An extra round of applause goes to the breakfast concierge lady, she really went the extra mile to make our trip something special. The only critique I have is the booking system for the pool and especially the gym. Also more sunshades would be nice at the pool.

We stayed here for a week in the Junior Suite. The room was great with working AC, the definitely necessary blinds, two TVs and — as a particular extra we really enjoyed — a Chromecast for each TV. The staff was was extremely friendly and helpful, from reception to bar all the way to the cleaning staff. Most staff also speak English so that communication isn't an issue if you don't speak Spanish. We also really enjoyed the breakfast with order to table foods like omelettes and a buffet offering everything one would need to get started including fresh fruit and a selection of juices. The hotel pool requires a reservation (free), which we could always get without issues and ensures that it doesn't overcrowd. The bar / restaurant is pricier than those in the neighborhood, but also roomier, climated and at a higher quality. If you stay in one of the nicer rooms on the fourth floor you also get snacks and drinks for free throughout the day in the (separate) hallway. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel, very central location. The staff were lovely particularly the lovely cleaning staff. We did not use the pool area as booking the pool is a bit annoying along with the heat on the top of the building made it prohibitive this summer. The bar is cool, spacious and reasonably priced. We did not experience the breakfast or dinner. The rooms were comfortable, storage is sparse and the bathroom lacked an extractor fan.

We have been there 2 years ago. A lovely hotel, with beautiful rooms. We were upgraded to a suite which had a terrace on the roof from which we had a magnificent view onto the city. Thank you for making our trip memorable.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights at the beginning of June 2022. We were extremely impressed with the whole establishment and gave our feedback in person to the hotel manager and deputy manager. We would encourage anyone visiting Malaga to book this hotel. ALL staff, whether porters, cleaners, reception, restaurant and breakfast service staff were very efficient, polite and professional. Welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. All credit also to the chef and his team, whether at breakfast or in the excellent Entemuros Restaurant for their wonderful food. It is clear that all staff are well trained. We ate dinner in the Entremuros restaurant twice during out stay. Both times, beautifully cooked food, good wine recommendations, good value for money and excellent service. Great location for old town and new.

Great hotel for our final night in malaga. The service was excellent. The rooms did have some issues, water dripping out of the shower, nothing to clean the toilet with. The room was big and the bed was super comfy. Pool was nice, you had to book in advance, not sure if it's the COVID-19 regulations or just the way it is normally. It did bother us that people were constantly smoking there.. Breakfast was great aswell :) Overall really nice hotel

We originally had an apartment booked and when we arrived it was nothing like advertised and so we booked this hotel at short notice. From our arrival to when we departed it was a fantastic experience. Upon arriving the valet took our car keys and parked the car and any time we wanted to use the car he would bring the car to the door for us. The baggage was brought to and from our room (on arrival/departure). The hotel is beautiful and exceptionally clean with large rooms. All the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel as we spent our evenings with friends who were not staying at the hotel but the breakfast was exceptional and although we stayed here for 3 nights we had stayed two weeks in different parts of Spain and this was the best breakfast experience we had. The location is perfect and is a 10 minute walk to the port or old town. This was our first stay in this hotel but will definitely not be our last. When returning to Malaga we are not even going to look at other hotels.

Great location in town, plus there is a Taxi Rank right outside the front door which makes getting around super simple. Staff all very lovely and attentive. They noticed my partner had been using the blanket so put a thicker duvet in for her without us asking. Good sized rooms, not too pricey for 5 star. We ate in the restaurant and had room service. Both good! Great place for a stay in Malaga.
