Excellent, I love the way the dishes are offered: the waiters have the dishes on their hands and shout to tell what is ready to take. We took croquetas de bacalao, paella, mussels, tortilla de camarón, calamares, espeto de sardinas and two beers paying 47 euros for two of us. Unbelievable. It is in front of the sea, the staff is fast and smiley. Going there it is an experience itself!

I would say this is the perfect place for the seafood lover! Their serving style is very new and special tho!! The seafood is pretty fresh and they have so many options for seafood and many seats with amazing view from the beach. The price is surprisingly not overpricing at all! Will definitely come back here again !

Wow, okay.. this is not a place that out of country tourists visit much.. mostly locals and larger groups of families and friend. There were no tables for 2 and we were seated at a table for 4. Even being just the two of us and obviously tourists they were welcoming and happy to have us. It was too far to walk from Malaga so we took an uber which was simple and nice. The experience was 110% worth it. We waited in line for about 30 minutes to be seated and the entire atmosphere was alive with sounds of waiters calling out food names, people talking and laughing and everyone enjoying themselves. We tried several dishes and the avocado shrimp stack paired with the grilled squid was our favorite. At the end of our meal they counted up the plates on the table and gave us our bill.. all very fun and something to remember for the rest of our lives.

The best and freshest seafood 🦞! The staff is super friendly even if they don’t speak English. The concept is straightforward - the chefs cook their seafood as they see fit and the waiters then present it in the restaurant. you can raise your hand if you’re interested in that specific dish. You pay in the end for number of plates, different sizes = different prices. We ended up eating quite some dishes and paid around 50 euros for two people (1L beer and around 5 dishes I believe?)

If you fancy a quiet lunch don't eat here but if you want to experience..let's say a different lunch...give it a go!! Be careful at the type of plates that you are ordering!!

It makes sense to spend around 15 euros for return trip from Malaqueta just in case you are really bored and want to explore other areas. The food was okay but nothing special. It looks as a place where it is not safe to go during Covid. The plates and glasses were not really clean and the place was too crowded. I wouldn't recommend trying the pil pil but squirt was tasty.

Nice place to have dinner close to the sea side. Fresh seafood, good quality and fair price. Different kind of restaurant: Waiters take out different dishes and you have to claim them like in auction style. Deserves a visit.

This is a crazy experience. Amazing sea food, and the way the restaurant works is totally different. You pay per plate the chefs cook seafood and give the plates to the waiter and they walk around shouting what they have, you have to get their attention and they will come and give you a plate! It's total chaos in a good way!

Just go here! Enjoy the local vibe with waiters coming in shouting/promoting different delicious dishes and you just sit back and point at what you want to indulge yourself in from all kinds of different seafood to paella and salad. Wash the food down with a splendid sangria while you enjoy the seaside/beach view.

Great place to share some dishes. The food is amazing. The concept is really good: when they call the plate's name, just raise your hand to have it. It is a little bit pricey but the quality is amazing... The sardines, shrimps, clamps, just everything is just delicious!!!

Absolutely fabulous place on the beach, fresh and tasty sea food, fantastic service and great atmosphere. Must visit when in Malaga!

Went here because of the TV program ( Fred Gino n Gordon). We were very disappointed! We expected atmosphere energy, waiters running round with super fresh food at €3 a plate. The place was dead, we were presented with an encapsulated menu with everything priced separately. Couldn't wait to get out! Thanks FGG!!

if there’s a food place in malaga that one should never miss, it would be El tintero. the vibe and atmosphere are truly unique and amazing. there’s no other place that could offer a more rustic and authetic feels as El tintero; plus it’s beach front as well so you can enjoy that nice mediterranean breeze as you enjoy their delicasies. and the freshness of the seafood is just so palpable that our souls were just lullabied to ecstasy. this place can be jampacked tho. and it’s not the cheapest but we felt that the price was all worth it.

An experience not to be missed. The waiters are helpful, and the plate prices are easy to understand. You just just have whatever they bring out.

One of the most peculiar restaurants you will find, located in Cala del Moral, few minutes drive from Malaga. Wide choices of fresh fish and seafood, which you order as staff goes around the restaurant displaying and announcing dishes. Be ready to line up for good 15’, while waiting to be seated. But totally worthwhile

Well known and original place to eat where you don’t order. Instead, waiters pass by offering dishes and you pick whatever you want. Fried and cooked local fish and seafood. Staff is fast and effective. The bill … well they calculate it at the table, counting the dishes and summing everything by writing on the paper tablecloth. Check the last picture. We ate quite well and paid 70 EUR for 3. No desserts, no coffee

Absolutely delicious! We came for a late lunch around 4 pm and we were very glad the kitchen remains open all day, especially for a restaurant as special as this. All the food was amazing. Will be returning!

Another amazing day with my family at Tintero's. It is must stop in Malaga. Here there is no fix menu. Rather than that, the fresh fishing of the day fill the dishes that are sung by the waiters. It is a different atmosphere itself. If you are lucky, try the squid (fried or smoked) and the espetos (traditional Malaga dish of smoked sardines).

This is a very funny concept! Here you take a seat and you take wathever the waiters are bringing. They shout out which plate they have and you just put your hands up to take it. Mainly all plates are fish. Only one has chicken. You can order 2 sorts of meat if you don't like fish. You will have to pay €8/plate. Some will cost more. When it's a silver plate it's more expensive. There are also guys shouting to pay, give them a sign, they count everything on the table and you pay. This is a visit worth, sure for the experience! Not very good if you are vegetarian. They also have lots of desserts like cake. Toilets are nice and clean.
