I am Japanese. I'm not picky person but same time I had a some expectations. I asked some staff that is Japanese chef working or the owner is Japanese or not. She said they are Chinese. But, So What !!! Great service, great foods. My husband and I are really satisfied for everything. They should proud of their service( including foods) I 100% recommend this restaurant. We hope to visit one more time before our vacation is over :))

Room for improvement: personally I love Thai food and was pleasantly surprised to see Thai dishes on the menu. However, I didn’t enjoy my Tom Yum Goong as it was done with coconut milk. And the portion was small for the price. The service was mixed depending on the person who served us. It ranged from excellent to apathetic.

Most places are run by non-Japanese so as this one but the food quality and creativity make it worthwhile to come back. We did, quite full but no tannin edge or over oak, very concentrated and very fruity. Rafael explained the menu and the amount of food to order and the make up of the dishes. The menu is very short but very tasty sounding. All the dishes we choose looked stunning. We went with beef carpaccio, which was nice. Soft shelled crab was utterly amazing. I have never had it before but now caanot wait to try it again. The accompanying salad was also great. The muscles were made into a croquetta with i think some brown crab. The portion is small but the flavour is lovely, rich and deeply seafoody. Finally we had mushroom risotto which was the biggest portion and again deeply flavoured. All in all a super meal. You do need to book, we saw a lot of folk missing out.
