I love castles! To bad it was closed When I arrived. But, from The fence it looken just stunning. The whole area was stunning! To bad they are building lots of modern house close to castle. That, to me, ruin The charm of the whole area.

Worth spending the day away from Stockholm city. It’s located in Steninge, and it’s easy to get to the place by car. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious; Buffets are 325 kr per person. It is a self-service where you order at the counter for a buffet and serves yourself at an available table. The buffet had a great selection of dishes, but I wish they included more vegetarian options.

Great food, great view and walking around after eating your fill at the buffe was well needed. Birthday date with my BFF was a success and finished off with some great photos taken around the castle gardens.

In a former glass workshop function now a restaurant, a shop and a flower shop. The restaurant occupies half of the space, serving well prepared popular dishes. The lunch is expensive compared with other restaurant around, but totally delicious.

Amazing place, a must visit! The food is absolutely delicious and really luxurious. The stores sell a lot of unique items for most of the time affordable prices. The building itself is beautiful, and the surroundings are very unique.

Posh stores (one of them it is really called Posh !) and a vey nice and not expensive restaurant (very nice buffet) for swedish standards

We were looking for Christmas crafts. Found a small collection of stalls selling crafty items but mostly it's a restaurant, a garden centre, a high-end housewares shop and a furniture/ home decor shop. It was too dark and icy to explore the lovely grounds. Will return when light (and warmer) to explore! We did buy some wooden utensils made by Skandinavisk Hemslöjd from one of the stalls bc they were made in Sweden and lovely.

Love walking around the shop. Always treat myself or my loved ones with gifts from this place. Downside: they don't offer any single vegan dish.

A very nice building and nice grounds but most of it isnt open to the public. The place is nice if you want to just walk around and relax. Theres a very small pontoon down to the water for some access.

You may shop, walk, eat there. With a common vision, a number of developers are now creating a new Steninge village, among other things, building 750 new and charming homes in genuine style.

Nice place for a walk especially when you stay at a hotel near Arlanda airport and you are searching for something near you!

A very nice atmosphere and an excellent restaurant. The small burgers are amongst the best I've ever had!

Amazing food and super nice location but even though we had booked over a week in advance nothing was ready. But the staff fixed it and everything worked out great in the end.

Great day trip from Stockholm! Easier to access by car but we still find it quite easy to get there traveling with the commuters train and connection with the bus. The area is going under massive development but it’s still quiet enjoyable to visit. You have a nature reserve quiere close for hikes, and the palace (cannot be visited inside) and it’s garden for a nice walk. The barn has inside several shops, and a large coffee shop/restaurant with a great brunch menu in the weekends. I think it’s a great place to spend the day and offers you a lot of possibilities. Would definitely recommend

On a good summer's day this place is beautiful. Always somewhere to be peaceful even with crowds. The buffet is magnificent.

We’ve had our both shots of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination. It’s very nicely arranged and spacious. It was all occupied with required things and clear demarcation of route to booths where the shots were offered. Also they provided free masks to use. Cheers!
