I just spent 5 days at the youth hostel in Lenggries with 67 10th graders. The hostel is super clean and newly renovated. The staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The food that we booked was excellent for a hostel, the spaetzel to die for! Breakfast was hearty with plenty for everyone. Vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free dishes were offered. The only drawback is that the building is very loud, that means that every closing door sounds like a slamming door over the whole building. Which means that sharing this hostel with a school class could be nerve shattering. I know that our pupils who were opening and closing their doors kept me awake all night! So double check that there won't be large groups of kids there!

Cant complain about anything, the food is well made and typical bavarian, the rooms are clean and not too small, only downside: the wifi has only a poor range and isnt avaible in most of the rooms

Super lieber Herbergsvater, aber auch der Rest des Teams ist natürlich sehr nett. Wir konnten schon frühzeitig einchecken und haben auch noch kurzfristig Abendessen bekommen. Sehr lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer ist Super! Sanitäre Einrichtungen waren zu jeder Zeit immer sauber. Das Essen war ebenfalls tatenlos. Wir können diese Jugendherberge auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und werden sicher irgendwann wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt

Eine kleine feine Jungendherberge, die keinerlei Wünsche offen lässt. Auch als Nachbar ist es recht angenehm den Sportplatz nutzen können, um mit dem Kind Ball zu spielen. Die Zimmer sind relativ hell und freundlich gehalten, der Service im Haus ist optimal.... Diesmal eine Bewertung nach Hören-Sagen....
