Only reviewing the restaurant/beer garden not the hotel. Nicely located between two bike paths with a spacious and comfortable beer garden despite its proximity to the road. Drink selection is all right with a moderate selection of local wines. Prices are steep even for a 'tourist trap' and at least for the burger it doesn't deliver on the quality the 'black Angus beef' and the 15 Euros promise - if you make the effort to offer good meat in a burger, at least don't spoil it with cheap, mass produced buns, cheese oozing its melting salts onto the salad, roast onions usually associated with ikea or a perverse amount of popular brand curry ketchup to blatantly cover up any flavors from the meat. Also no reaction from the waiter when asked about the food but not met with the customary 'everything's fine' - answer. Would recommend as a stop for beer, but not when looking for fine dining.

Attentive staff, very complete breakfast, cozy accommodation. The hotel has a bicycle storage room. And if you want to have a tasty dinner meal, stay right there, the restaurant is great!

Guest house is not luxurious but has all conditions, is quite and owner is very friendly. good breakfast, fresh air, nice around views. Is like a combination between county and town.

We came as an extended family from Australia for our daughter’s wedding to her German husband. This fabulous venue accommodated 60 of us for four nights, plus a huge, very late wedding night for 90 people, with impressive proficiency! Great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The team were very welcoming and drinks in the Biergarten till almost midnight each night allowing wonderful mixing of families and friends. Located beside the beautiful river Saale, the venue also proved to be the ideal finish to our 8hr/ 40 person/ 34km kayak adventure! And on top of this, we were presented with lovely riverside walks into the magnificent Naumburg Stadt where the marriage ceremony took place in the Rathaus! Top marks to the Gasthaus und Hotel zur Henne and much appreciation!
