An ancient Fort City and a popular tourist place worth visiting. About 90 KM from Indore City, you can take a Day Taxi to Mandav. Places to visit: 1. The Jahaz Mahal and Hindola Mahal 2. The Delhi Darwaja 3. Hoshang Shah tomb (India’s first marble monument) 4. Palaces of Roopmati and Bazbahadur 5. Nilkanth Palace (Mughal architecture temple) 6. Kakra Khoh Waterfall 7. Echo Point 8. Dino Adventure park Don't forget to buy one famous "Mandu ki Imli" here. Don't miss the "Sound & Light show" in the evening.

You should first go to the "Jahaz mahal," which is a stunning structure with a light show that includes sound and visual effects at evening, as this is where Rani Rupamati lived. History dating back to the sixth century. Hindi language time is 7:00 PM. The time in English is 7.30 PM. 100 rs per person for a light show ticket History Rupmati Mahal used to offer prayers to the Narmada River by Rani Rupmati.

Mandav is a town and a nagar panchayat, near city of Dhar in Dhar district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Mandva is situated in the Vindhyanchal Range at 2,000 feet above sea level. There is a deep ravine that separates it from the Malwa Plateau in Central India. Mandav is 100 km from Indore, the nearest airport. The palace of Sultan Bazbahadur and Roopmati are exquisite examples of the Islamic style of architecture. They have large courtyards. The palace of Roopmati was used as a check post in the times of an invasion.

I went to Mandav for my Sister’s Prewedding shoot & I also needed to practice Photography. I must mention that this place contributed a great value to the moments I captured. Always recommended & special season to visit would be rainy season so you may find Greenery decorating the Historic walls.

Awesome. Best time to visit: Monsoon and Winter Not a single day trip destination. Plenty of hotels and resorts. If you want to cover all places, plan a two-day stay.

Visiting during weekdays would be a good decision. We visited on Sunday and have found a big crowd due to not being able to spend proper time. Try to reach Early morning to cover max points.carry water with yourself, hat, power bank and good camera. I have to buy tickets at 2 places Rani Rupmati Mahal and Jahaj Mahal.
