I stayed here for one night. The place is good, though the rooms are a bit old. The food and service was excellent. I had to check out early next morning before usual breakfast time. But the staff made sure they got our breakfasts prepared before we left. Also, accidentally I had left my driving license at the reception during check-in, and happened to leave city without it the next morning. The staff was courteous enough to send it to me at my home in Jabalpur.

Fantastic view of lake near the hotel. Each room and cottage is over looking lake and lush green pictures perfect view of greenery. Food in the resturent is good and we got a very good service from staff. Room can be better specially beds and bathrooms. But it was comfortable and clean

Location is good but rooms are old. Need renovation. However stay was comfortable and food at their restaurant is tasty. Cooked right in front of you..See thru Glass

Had a chance to visit and stay at this wonderful property. It's a great place to stay full of hospitality and warmth. Food is also delicious . Rooms are very good .

Since it is a government owned restaurant, i can make no difference to the functioning. But i can always highlight how these people are looting us 1. For a very small amout of food, the total bill was 1200/- 2. The rasgulla per plate (2 smallest pieces) costed 120/- (60 each) 3. The Aquafina water bottle with MRP 20/- is being charged 40/- I will never ever go back to this place.

All marks to MPT Malwa retreat for its location, Rooms and services. We visited this place during rainy season and I am telling you that this place is like heaven in this period.

Fairly good location but exterior has to be maintained more interestingly. There is a valley on the back side of the premises but hardly anything is done , so that guests could enjoy the view.. Rooms are good but I observed that the AC was tripping off thru out the night after evey 1.5 to 2 hrs. The remote was attached to the window unit and was not user friendly. Sort of walkin wardrobe space provided outside the washroom was very helpful. Restaurant food options should be increased. Local food should be made available in the menu. Taste was very average. Staircase made of MS was very risky to carry the luggage up. Could not understand why this makeshift arrangement was done?

Good location, neat rooms, attached toilet was clean. Dining area has its limitations as the open kitchen is in it & is not properly ventilated though the food was tasty. Helpful Staff, specially Mr. Guru. Construction wise The Retreat looks a bit older. Overall the experience was excellent

Worst experience. Rooms and bathrooms are filthy without basic toiletries. Fridge dead and linens dirty. Nobody cares. Staff is not trained for hospitality. In restaurant ordered veg kofta bur served mix veg. Reception is polite though.

Their family room has the toilet and bathroom outside the room. Can you believe it . So you have a bath and walk to your room from there. They have drapes put outside these bathrooms like it a dingy bar bathroom. Disgusting place. Pathetic .
