Very nice place. The place is very ancient. It also has a broad history. If you want to go there than make a wide plan. Search about the place on Google. Hire a guide if you want a good description and if not then just use Google. There are many websites which are helpful.

This is the highest point of Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. The view from the top of the palace is just breathtaking. You can see the clear division between the hilly Malwa (मालवा) region and the plains of Nimar (निमाड़).

Rani Roopmati Pavilion or Rani Rupmati Ka Mahal is located on a small hill of Mandu. The entry ticket is Rs 25 per person and children below 15 are free. There is ample parking available at the base of the Pavilion. You have to Climb up and see the picturesque scenery. It is recommended to visit this place during winters Nov to Feb as otherwise it will be warm. It was built by Baz Bahadur for Roopmati to let her have the view of sacred Narmada river daily in the morning before starting her day. Whenever weather not used to be clear she would see Rewa Kund near this pavilion specially built for this purpose. Take care of young children here as this place is not safe for kids. I went to Indore and Rani Rumpati palace is 2.5 hours drive from it. The road is good and it has really beautiful views, big and magnificient landscapes on the way. This mahal was not so time consuming.. and you can click so many pictures here it is so photogenic. It would be advisable to hire a guide.

This place is one of the top sights in Mandu. But here, not much is the attractive monument. 1. You should definitely visit the place, as you have spent hours to come to Mandu, but make it a first stop before going to Jahaj Mahal. 2. Spend less time here, so as to have a complete visit to Jahaj Mahal. 3. Keep more time available for Jahaj Mahal. "Rani Rupmati Mahal" is sufficient by an hour. Nothing much to do here. Get yourself bubbles-up for the very beautiful "Jahaj-Mahal" while leaving from this mahal. Happy journey!

Rani Roopmati Mahal is very nice place but to reach here you have to travel about 4 to 5 kms from Mandu Town.... In which you have to take the help of local people who will show you the way. After going here all your tiredness will end. Very nice place, there is peace, there is peace. This is the place from where you get to see the best view. Round all around.😊

Nowadays nothing but just the standing walls are remained. Government must look at these monuments and restore those. There are the entry charge anyways collected from the visitors. As of today Rs. 25 per person.

Rani Rupmati's Mahal is Super Gorgeous as soon as you enter there's a aisle and it's just gorgeous as well the terrace area, the Views from here are just breathtaking and the garden omg!!! Everything here is very beautiful ❤️ Now comes the ticket price for entering the Mahal it's just 25 per person for Indian Residence and for the Foreigners it's 300 Per head ( Bit Expensive ) And they charge extra for the Cameras everywhere here which I think is preety invalid as it doesn't make any sense and drones are literally a big no near any Historical places but if you still want to fly a drone and take some pictures or Videos you can take it from somewhere else. You can also find snacks at the entrance and something's to buy from a (very Small Market). One more thing is there's no Parking Charges soo it's good 👍 Hope you found it helpful.

The Palace itself reflects the glory of Rajputana, Afghani & Mughal architecture. A must visit place for architecture & history lovers. MP tourism & ASI are maintaining this site. Lies in the midst of lush green forest cover of Vindhyachal mountain ranges.

My visit to Rani Rupmati's palace reminded us of the 60's hit song Ajaa re Pardeshi...It was nostalgic to note that she was an expert in singing the raag Malhar and that it was her singing that had attracted the king and inspired him to build the pavillion mandap for her to offer prayers to river Narmada before she ate anything in the morning. The elaborate water storage system is really marvellous. We missed the sight from the tower as it has still not reopened after closure due to Covid. The gardens are beautiful.

The views are good. The architecture is okay.; the stone arches create interesting spaces. Mostly, it is more of the story, and what you can conjure with your own imagination. The kund, the stepwells and baodi really, realyyyyy need cleaning and maintenance. There was garbage thrown into it. :(

This is not a palace, it's a pavilion. It was built by Baz Bahadur for Rani Roopmati so she could see Maa Narmada during sunrise and Rewa Kund during Sunset. On a clear day, you can apparently see Maa Narmada during sunrise. Monsoons are a good time to visit Mandu. Come to this place for Sunset. The views are fabulous. Plan to spend upto an hour here.

Ticket price is 25rs... It's ok to spend 25rs to see this palace but honestly there is nothing much as you are not allowed to go to the top too.. is a small place as the way it starts it ends..if you don't go also there is nothing to lose..

Built by Baz Bahadur (ca. 1550CE) for his wife Rani Roopmati, this palace (and the palace of Baz Bahadur it overlooks) represent the local love legend. The view of planes from roopmati mahal is quite spectacular and Panaromic view of local villages nearby it and mandu city looks so great. Must visit place in mandav, specially in the monsoon season. Lush green monsoon and forest makes the beauty of mahal so amazing.
