Unbeatable supermarket, its location is the best - close to Auckland Airport and next to iBis hotel. This openly late night place offers you a wide range of both local and imported products., as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, and natural items. I, myself, bought a bunch of chocolate and some snacks as souvenirs home. Payment is through cash or credit card, self-service or by cashier assistance. A lot of parking space in front. Have fun shopping at Countdown!

Going in... no trolleys were available. They were ALL out in the parking lot! They didn't have staff to cover the retrieval of trolleys, FORTUNATELY... a staff member found me a trolley quick smart & I was able to continue without incident. (I have a bad leg w/walking stick) Shopping was quick & easy. The store was just the right size of big for me to walk. Good quick checkout of items. Customer service was EXCELLENT towards me... ENJOY!!! 😎👍🏼

There were no trolleys and we were in a rush to do a big shop and then made us walk outside and find our own trolleys. I expected better. This is very disappointing for south auckland countdown

Overall good but few time wrong price tag and dated product

Great shop, huge variety and plenty parking close too more shops and local Air Port of Auckland. Plenty sales and lines not long. Plenty stock also, the at check out very friendly.

I along with other customers had to wait while a checkout lady acted as a bank for a lady wanting a specific breakdown of notes and coin. I didn't know Countdown was a banking institution!

They always run out of cold drinks in can energy V. When I mentioned that to stuff their excuse is we short of workers. It take 1 min to put drinks in fridge but no1 wana doing that. Lazy floor workers!

Easy parking came what I want I got what I need in 5 mins . Great location before you departure on international flight with Budget airline .

Produce in this store is not really fresh. Plenty of carparking. Overall ok.

Be careful with expired dates on the food because they don't always check and leave it there especially in the chilled section of the store.

July 2023 A very pleasant shop to do you weekly shop or to pick up a few things on the aay home. It is a clean shop and has pleasant staff. I would shop here if the need arose again.

Plenty parking, other shopping outlets and eateries in the vicinity. Enjoyed shop at countdown airport! Very good selections

I find it's a good location to stop in and do a bit of shopping if you want to by pass the traffic.

Great place to stop and pickup groceries and other supplies (like wine 🙂). Also has a nice range of fresh fruit... better than other places I been to

This countdown used to be my choice for weekly groceries but since covid has struggled to keep the shelves well stocked. I often go in and it hasn't everything I need or the shelves are depleted. I shop elsewhere now but go in occasionally for milk or bread etc.

Very very clean and well organized got lots of great deals nice to shop morning one of the staff was very helpful she get me a trolley she was putting lebel in wine section so good see staff helping customers

I'm here weekly and ALWAYS leave happy due to the friendly staff . The team here at the airport Countdown really DO care and are happy to go out of their way to help.

I find this store to be more of a pop up style. Bit smaller then the norm and not aswell stocked but good cause it's close to work.

Enough parking no worries if store very busy you may have to walk but you still get parking.

The meat is appallingly dear. I havent brought meat frm countdown/new world or pak n save in years. Freshchoice has high quality cheap meat
