Judging
by
the
other
reviews,
we
must
have
caught
this
place
on
a
bad
night.
Our
table
of
5
was
seated
quickly,
the
place
was
not
that
busy,
only
5
to
10
tables
with
people.
We
mentioned
to
the
waitress
that
the
table
was
quite
sticky,
so
the
waitress
went
and
got
a
cloth
and
wiped
2
sides
of
the
4
sided
table.
Missing
quite
a
bit.
She
then
came
back
with
a
tea
kettle
of
water,
which
was
a
nice
touch.
But
she
didn't
hang
around
to
ask
about
any
drinks
order.
About
ten
minutes
later
she
returned
with
a
bunch
of
menus
and
only
then
asked
about
drinks.
We
ordered
a
bottle
of
wine
to
share
and
a
beer.
We
received
our
wine
and
beer.
And
ordered
food.
Two
x
catch
of
the
day,
two
x
lamb
shanks,
and
one
steak.
Food
came
out
pretty
quickly,
but
maybe
that
was
a
bad
thing.
The
steak
was
good.
The
fish
smelt
really
badly
of
fish.
It
might
have
been
the
catch
of
the
day,
but
it
certainly
wasn't
a
recent
day,
definitely
not
fresh.
The
lamb
shanks
were
seriously
undercooked.
Still
pink
near
the
bone.
Lamb
shanks
should
be
slow
cooked,
and
the
meat
should
fall
off
the
bone.
I
had
the
shank,
and
eating
this
meal
was
a
fight!
Had
to
leave
a
fair
bit
of
meat
on
the
bone
as
I
didn't
want
to
go
caveman
style.
When
we
were
all
finished
we
had
to
ask
for
our
table
to
be
cleared
of
the
plates,
as
the
empty
fish
plates
were
still
quite
pungent.
The
decor
and
ambience
was
pleasant
enough,
but
the
staff
were
really
inattentive,
we
would
have
likely
had
another
few
drinks
easily
if
we
were
asked/offered.
As
it
was,
we
went
back
to
our
hotel
and
used
the
bar
there.
Based
on
the
meals
and
the
service
we
received,
I
couldn't
recommend
this
place.
Maybe
we
chose
poorly,
as
the
table
behind
us
ordered
ribs
and
they
came
out
smelling
amazing
and
we
heard
noises
of
pleasure
from
the
table.
And
the
steak
was
pretty
good.
