The main entrance is next to butterfly creek carpark. Not bad if you're after a short walk, good scenery and several sculptures. Nice and quite place,

Surprisingly nice walk & excellent artworks mixed with the nature! It was sunset time when we walked through there after having dinner nearby, the area was so beautiful. Good to spend an hour or two walking around when you stay overnight nearby or before your flight.

Never mind the art. Just a beautiful area to walk around in. Watching the birds. Perfect if you have a few hours to kill waiting for your next flight

Went with my partner and my furr baby, was a first time for all of us and we were very impressed. The scenery was beautiful as well as the walk ways and the art, I let my baby run around freely and he really enjoyed himself. Good place to go and clear your mind or just have some quality time 👍

Great hidden gem, this place is located behind Butterfly Creek. Take a picnic and have a wander around and enjoy the peace and serenity away from the busy Auckland life.

Love this place! Always try to make a visit everytime I'm out by the airport with spare time. Really quiet but paths seem to well maintained and the sculptures are awesome! The corrugated iron house and the giant pinball pins are my personal favourites. Went in the evening and even spotted and got to pat (through the fence) some of the farm animals from butterfly creek next door! Went as a female on my own and felt safe. Highly recommend!

Sculptures are pretty neat and bush walk to viewpoints is fairly easy, but viewpoints could do with a cutback and track had a few trees down across it. Could also do with more gravel as lots of large puddles near the beginning. Some vandalism in spots too with signs describing artwork being ripped out and left away from the pieces they are for.

Loved it. Nice place to walk around if you have time to kill before a flight out of Auckland. Don't forget your runners though.... ! Muddy patches.

Quirky sculpture garden located behind butterfly creek, good walk around the lake, although the track could do with some more gravel as there are lots of big puddles after rain

It's okay but some ways are not perfect.

QR codes don't work..so you can't read about the sculptures

Beautiful spot to head to before or after the airport to absorb some nature 🌳🌿 I was very pleasantly surprised! There is a hairpin lake, sculptures, a pagoda, fields and secluded seating.
