Generally speaking, the resort looks nice and picturesque but that's about it. If you look closely, it kind of looks a bit rundown and needs better maintenance. The restaurant food tastes good but some things were unavailable and the waiters don't really know much about what they're selling either. Moreover, they forgot to punch in one of our orders and when we followed it up, that's when they punched it in. However, we decided to cancel it yet they still billed us for the cancelled item. Also, there was what we assumed to be spilled food by our room door, on the outside. We brought it up and asked to have it cleaned. However, until checkout, no one came by to clean it. The shower head was also broken causing water to pool in the toilet area. So little parking as well and very poorly planned. In general, service could be much much better especially given the price point if this hotel.

Staff are generally friendly and service-oriented, and amenities are fair. But the following circumstances totally destroyed our stay: 1. There is a foul smell at certain times outdoors and around the resort, as though from a gutter or sewerage system. The smell would come into our room, since there is a gap between the door to the balcony and its doorway. 2. The A/C desperately needs cleaning; see pic. Also, the A/C apparently blows a strong musty smell. I didn’t realize this until I got home to Manila. ALL my clothes and bags reeked. I had to soak and wash them several times just to get rid of the smell. (I don’t want to begin to imagine what kind of air we were breathing.) 3. The restaurant staff talked very, very loudly among themselves in the dining area even if guests were in the area. It was intolerable.

We first arrived to find an absolutely beautiful location and the views are incredible. Unfortunately, the disaster began after check in when we entered our premier villa room to be met with an overpowering stench of rotten vegetation outside the room. The smell was so strong that my husband had to ask to be moved to a different room. What the staff didn’t know is that my American husband understands Filipino and heard them making fun of him. The front desk also told my husband one thing but when I went downstairs, they changed their attitude but refused to cooperate with us appropriately. The only thing they could offer us was a downgraded room, which was their SPARE room that they do not normally use, and a 2,000 peso food voucher for a family of 5. We found two cockroaches in the room, one of which I found on my son while he was laying down. The shower has a crack in it and flooded the room. All the hotel staff could do was just give us towels to soak up the water. They also offered us free breakfast, but only two people in our family eat breakfast, and the food was not good according to them. I asked for change from the cashier and she rolled her eyes and rudely said no we do not do change. I am very disappointed in the way this resort does business. The only saving grace is that my son does not understand all this nonsense and was still able to have fun. Also the pool bartender Christopher Reyes was absolutely amazing and the snorkeling guide was incredibly kind.

It is pricey and their food is meh. Not good at all. For the room it is nice but the room that was given to us has a foul smell coming from the drainage. It got stronger overnight so we had to change our room the next day. The beach view was nice although used plates can be seen outside other room's front door. We had an awful experience the only thing that were nice were the staff and kuya guards.

Booked a stay for 3 nights in one of the villa rooms, considering that at their rate this would be a more exclusive resort. During the pre-booking call, we asked if all facilities would be open for the public, which was confirmed. Only when touring the resort did we find out that none of the listed experiences was available, besides the dining area, swimming pool and sea access. Room service does not exist, if one would like the room to be made or attended to, you need to call the front desk. Room based maintenance was not done, curtain hooks where loose, toilet leaking, front door and bathroom door locks damaged and difficult to handle, room safe not lockable. Drinking water and toiletries needed to be asked Very low WIFI signal inside, only when outside on the balcony was it better. Breakfast is not included, however the front desk stated that water sport are free, read kayak. Only when asking to use the kayak, each time the dive shop staff stated it to be too dangerous. This left us with snorkeling only, there the dive options are very expensive, rent a boat 9000K for few hours + added costs. Entering the sea water is good for nimble persons as it is a quit eventful undertaking due to the many boulders at the landing. We witnessed a dive initiation which took 20min in the pool, with immediate follow-up in the sea. The pontoon was broken and cannot be used. The restaurant said to be Greek inspired, however the food is mainly local, small portions and at extreme prices. Pictures shown on the menu does not reflect the received food plates. To all, this is not a place I would go back to or recommend at any time.

I will only rate the food here since we came here for dinner and did not check in the hotel or resort. We ordered lechon kawali kare kare, aglio olio pasta, bagoong rice, nachos and kani salad. And overall, everything failed my expectations. Since the place is expensive and a known tourist spot, I was expecting the food to be at least good, if not great. Nachos looked like local tortilla chips topped with ground beef, which is really blant and dry, and chopped onions. The chips are not crunchy and looked like they were just bought off the sari sari store. I was surprised to see the aglio olio pasta was colored red, with lots of chili that I can't even taste the flavor of the olive oil, it was waaayyyy too spicy for aglio olio. The kani salad came with your normal mayonnnaise as a dressing, it would have been better with vignairette instead. Nothing special with the kare kare, there was too much sauce but less flavor. The food are sub par and really short of what's expected in a really nice resort.

Splendid! Delightful! The service - superb! Their staff goes the extra mile to make you feel truly at home. Keep it up! Room rates are on the pricy scale but what lends value for money are the complimentary water activities such as kayak & snorkeling. There was also an Arts&Crafts activity for the kids to enjoy. Too bad, my girls have outgrown this kind of stuff. The welcome drinks, unlimited coffee and complimentary congee for breakfast lends more value for money, not to mention the well appointed rooms, instagrammable murals, dating deck to view Anilao's ohh so captivating sunset! Since Santorini may just be a bucketlist entry for now, thank you Camp Netanya for allowing your guests to have the feel. πŸ₯°

One of the best resorts I've been to. The place itself is beautiful. The staff, service, amenities and facilities are superb. We enjoyed the pool but we also enjoyed the free kayak and snorkeling (inclusive in the the room accommodation fee). Room we got is clean and spacious. Has a super good ocean view. The food in the resto is also good. We tried carbonara, seafood mrinara and baby back ribs. All good and worth the price. :) we also tried the mango sticky rice for dessert. For breakfast, the have filipino and continental breakfast ( with free coffee and orange juice). Really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely come back. ❀️

Beautiful view with amazing interior. I loved the theme of blue N white. The staff is really nice and helpful. The restaurant has variety of delicious food. Fun activities at additional cost are available. Definitely recommend the place 😊😊

Rooms could be better, considering the price you pay. This hotel is definitely not wheelchair friendly as you need to use numerous stairs just to get around the hotel. The staff were great, courteous and very helpful. There's also whole day free flowing coffee

Pros Awesome for pictures. Friendly staff Pool area is nice Drink menu was Really good n not too expensive. There was hot Coco on the house for guests which was really nice of them. There's kids activities and movie night at 7 (no charge) Cons Bath room shower didn't have door so the floor was wet through out the day. The room where we stayed (#606) had a queen bed which was too small for Me, My Husband and our Kick expert 5 year old son πŸ˜… The Sweage system unfortunately gives unpleasant smell outdoors from time to time. Prices was steep for the Above Average Rooms.

Very nice resort, the building looks like Santorini, rooms are also good and comfortable. Staffs here are also friendly and always try to help customers or serve them like take pictures with best view. Foods here are also delicious, some foods or soup might a bit salty, but acceptable.

On the surface this hotel looks really cool but on further inspection it needs quite a bit of maintenance and TLC. The staff are really quite nice and accommodating, going out of their way to help the guests at every step. The food is average. It would be great if they offered authentic Greek dishes or put a little more effort in the quality and presentation of the food.

Excellent upscale resort with a Santorini vibe. We got a loft room good for 6 people. We got 3 queen beds with a lot of space. It comes with a bath tub and rain shower. We were also given full amenities like bath gel, soap, toothbrush and shampoo. Bring your own lotion as the weather is dry. The room comes with a (not a smart) cable TV, water kettle and a refrigerator, complimentary 6 water bottles, coffee and tea. The pool and washroom has saltwater. Be sure to bring a lot of conditioner and lotion to moisturize. Available food choices outside the resort. They also have in-house restaurant though a little pricey. Overall we are happy with the experience. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

The place is quite far, but worth it. The place looks luxurious even if the area is not that big. It will make you feel like you're in greece with its design. They have such a very nice view esp. at night. Other than swimming by the pool or beach you may snorkel, scuba dive, ktv, and exercise in their gym.

Amazing place in the heart of Mabini Batangas. You'd feel like a king/queen staying at this place. Rooms are amazing, food is exciting and crews are all courteous. Diving spot is just a walk away, lifeguards are always in the lookout too. Can't wait to get back.

Instagramable exterior and interiors. Breath taking sight of the beach. Staff are attentive and friendly. I love the clean smell of the room although the toilet needs to be updated. It's too cramped, not many hooks to hang your clothes specially the ones you used to swim, bath tub with shower is way too high. If you're with senior citizens this won't be safe for them. Slip prone. Water pressure is low on shower, there was a moment when i cannot rinse my hair because there's no water coming out. Water closet bidet sprayer is not user friendly.

Was a guest back in July 2022. Dubbed as the 'Little Santorini of Batangas' this Greek-inspired resort is of the best places we have visited yet and part of our 'bucket list.' Located in Anilao, Batangas you would have to take twists and turns, not mentioning the uphill road towards its location. Frequented by both local and foreign visitors alike I would have to say they always handle a large volume of guests going in and out of the resort, they have an organized system of doing so. No hassle in checking in and out as they have courteous and friendly staff who are ready to handle your needs. One big factor here is the AMBIENCE, gazing at its infrastructure and design, you feel like you've entered in another different and unique place - plus the BLUE-colored theme is all around - I simply love it. Food tastes great in good serving portions but it is on the pricey side. Rooms are clean and cozy and some of it do have a great view once you step into the balconies. Their infinity pools are clean and kid-friendly, wait 'til you see the sunset and truly admire its BREATHTAKING view. At some point near the pool area there was a nasty smell of sewage which may bother some guests. Definitely this will always be highly recommended but be warned that the resort ranks up to the π’†π’™π’‘π’†π’π’”π’Šπ’—π’† side. Taste: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Cleanliness: 5/5, Affordability: 2/5, Ambience: 5/5.

Inspired by the Santorini of the Mediterranean, this place is the closes you can get in the Philippines. A mere 2 hour drive from Manila, this is a good place to relax and do diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. The staffs are friendly and nice. The food especially the pork and seafood is worth it and highly recommended. A bit pricey though. I also recommend the massage/spa, the therapist can provide a relaxing massage, a bit heavy but not painful to the muscles. Parking is limited thus they provide valey service, however waiting time for the valet takes a bit of time.

Please don't let those who left unfavorable reviews rob you of making a great decision to stay at Camp Netanya. We are so glad we came and enjoyed such a beautiful resort located on Mabini's coastal beauty. We ate at the located restaurant our whole 2 days and it did not disappoint, many options to choose from. Also I went scuba diving right in the frontal waters of the resort, beautiful reef dive with plenty of marine life to speculate. The rooms are very welcoming and bright, with the proper accommodations for you. Camp Netanya is "YES" for us!✌🏼

The Santorini of Anilao, Batangas Ambience: 6/5 The place is awesome, jaw dropping Food: 4/5 A little bit on the pricey side, but the food was great. Not a fan of their Aglio Olio; it was too dry. Clubhouse sandwich was hearty, Nachos were..meh, but the Caesar's salad was okay (very little serving for it's price) Service: 5/5 Service was superb. We left the key card inside the room, we spilled orange juice and they they cleaned up ang opened the room with a smile. They offered to take pictures, they had complimentary coffee and congee,

Staff service was excellent especially the woman in recreation (sorry i didn’t get your name), but she introduced all kinds of activity and shared her enthusiasm with us, we booked the intro to diving because of her… as for the location, there were lots of flies when we were dining, and also in the bar area.. Also, We didnt get to use the wifi in our room (we were on the first floor), it’s a good thing we have data in our mobile devices

  • 5/5 Rhett De G. 1 year ago on Google
Although a bit on the pricier side considering it is in Mabini, it is well worth it. The staff of this hotel gets the highest marks for their service and professionalism. From the front desk to the recreational services staff, their service is what you would expect from the fancier resort. The rooms are a bit simple for their costs but they keep it clean. The surroundings of the hotel are also very clean. Food is good but also on the pricier side.

Stayed from Nov 2 to 3, 2023. We got the sea view superior king room. Room was clean, view was amazing -- bed was a bit too creaky though. Staff was polite and accommodating, special thanks to Sir Roben. Location was exquisite. Parking was limited so its much better to arrive a bit early for check in, around 1pm, so that guests have already checked out. Although they do offer valet parking in their nearby property when their onsite parking is already full. It's such a big plus that kayaking and snorkeling is already included in the accommodation packages. Also appreciate the fact that a separate towel is provided for water activities, no need to bring room towel out. Quite honestly, I would've given them a 5 star review had it not been for the restaurant food. It's not that bad, but considering their price point, it left much to be desired.

I have always wondered what it feels like to sleep in this resort. We always eat lunch here when visiting Mabini, but never stayed until last week. The bed is soft but the mattress feels wet and humid even with the aircon on. They have a 12-foot dive pool, and just a few steps away is the pebbles beach where you can snorkel and swim away. Lots of fish in the ocean I tell you. Food is not expensive. Unli coffee everyday.

  • 4/5 Bee T. 4 months ago on Google
The staff's friendliness and accommodation fell short, lacking genuine smiles. Nonetheless, the room's charm and the comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep. Despite a picturesque property, our stay was marred by a faulty hot water system in the room, and the poorly engineered bathtub was disappointing.

It's not what you see on online photos or youtube videos. Don’t get fooled this place is old, everything is old. Bed sheets, towels and the pool paint is fading away. If you are looking to stay more than 2 days, look somewhere else. There’s nothing to do here, look for a similar resort that has a beach access with a shore to stroll around and to lounge. This place doesn’t offer that. Food is good but way overpriced and drinks is ok if your not picky.

Pool attendants are very helpful especially during the snorkling activity. They made sure we enjoyed it and never missed an opportunity for an underwater experience. They also take instagrammable photos and videos. The only concern we have is the food. It can more affordable and more options. Lomi is not on the menu. Overall, the experience was great! 🀩

local guides told us that the place is known as a 5 star place. its more of a 3ish, 3.5ish at max. The place is good for photo ops. rooms not so ok. bidet was malfunctioning. tv occasionally turns off. room is tidy but can be improved. service is top notch for me. parking can be improved.

We just went in for dining but I don't have enough words to describe how good this place is. It is worth a visit just for the scenery at sunset, but the seafood and the pasta also taste fresh and the portions are big. Our servitor, Kevin, was one of the best I have ever encountered in the Philippines. A must visit if you are in Batangas!

Its a good place for family, friends or even with your partner. The place is nice but the price is high! You may want yo check your budget first before anything else. The resort has a good ambiance its like a taste of Santorini here in the Philippines. And be ready for the driving and travel its not easy to reach this resort. A good place to relax and a good place to be romantic with your partner.

Care too much about the esthetic rather than service. Pool smelt bad, pretty remote place to get to. Expensive for what they have to offer. No store just a vending machine that has chocolate milk and chips. Good luck getting water. The restaurant wasn’t great for the price. Overall not happy, spend your money actually going to Greece. Blue pillows can’t be washed smell bad and have stains.

I booked a room prior to reading the reviews. My biggest concern after reading the previous reviews was the quality of the food. Fortunately I found the food to be more than acceptable. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was less desirable. Previously reserved room not available upon check in. Inconsistent service in the restaurant, from excellent to pathetic. Final breakfast was delivered completely wrong. The biggest hassle was during checkout. The ability to charge food purchases to the room should allow for easy settlement upon checkout. This was not the case. The hotel and restaurant claim to be completely separate entities but the desk provides the final bill. They also applied my room reduction credit to the food bill. But when they requested payment the internet was down. The restaurant couldn’t process my debit card. The front desk refused to process the payment on my VISA so I was left with payment in cash only. Luckily I had sufficient funds to pay. Had I not what would they do? Hold me there for 5 hours until the internet returned? Mind you the front desk was aware of the scheduled internet outage but failed to inform anyone else. Generally frustrating in multiple ways. Definitely not an experience that entices a return visit. I cannot recommend this resort unless frustration is your idea of relaxation. πŸ˜‘

We had a reservation in this resort, and tried to call the customer service or reception on few questions regarding the booking that was already confirmed, a day before our stay. Sadly linguiel ( supposedly the reservation manager) was very rude explaining what was included and what was not in our package. The look of the hotel seems to be beautiful on the website and mention this because I have not visited the resort yet , but the atitude or the staff on phone seems not up to the mark. The reservation manager also told me that they don't have a sales manager who I can further talk to and also said that the details of his manager are confidential LOL... what a service.... BRAVO!! By the way we are paying approx. 11000/- peso for a night stay and it does not include breakfast complimentary, beat that...

Over all staff was attentive and nice. Our room was clean and when we asked for room service staff was very quick to respond. Our room had window unit AC (not split type) so it was a bit loud. The mattress was good, not too hard. (I find most mattress in the hotels in the Philippines too hard.) They also had solar hot water heater so there's hot water for the shower. The only thing is because it's solar, the hot water is not available very early in the morning. Water activity is complementary for guests staying at the resort so that was nice. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling. The staff guided us and we felt safe. The food at the Greeka restaurant was nothing special. Filipino food was ok but Greek food was not authentic. We tried Gyro and pizza and they weren't very good. But the Filipino food we tried like longsilig breakfast, fried chicken, and chili garlic shrimp were good. I wish there were better Greek food to complete the Santorini experience.

A bit disappointed more than satisfied. While the place looks great, a few things were unsatisfactory. First, my reservation was downgraded as they claimed it to be under maintenance. However, instead of offering free upgrade, they just offered the downgrade plus a refund for the difference. I tried to ask for the upgrade which was outright declined, considering that the original room has already been booked for weeks. The place also has no inclusive complimentary breakfast considering the rates. Upon arrival, everything in the room seems to be in order, except that we found the bath tub broken. Also, the scent of the bathroom is less than pleasant, even stinky. The restaurant (Greeka) also keeps on serving wrong dish. First time we opted to just take the wrong dish, second one we had to decline. This considering that the order was verified before the waiter went off. The resto closes at 10PM, so we had no option to grab food in the middle of the night but the vendo machine. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance too. We also asked if the jet ski is available, to be told that it is broken too. So jet skiing and banana boating is automatically out of the question. Overall, the place looks quite good, but don't think you will get the bang for your buck. Had the rooms been rated for β‚±5000-β‚±7000, it would have been okay. However, we paid β‚±11000 for a lackluster stay, which in my opinion is so not worth it. There's a lot more options around the area, and if you are not after the Santorini vibe anyway, just go for somewhere else.

The rundown: Best sea views. There is NO sandy beach/shoreline. Free snorkeling and kayak. Rooms are okay, borderline meh for its price. Place has videoke room that gets noisy at times. Ample open parking space. In-house restaurant food leaves a lot to be desired for most of their offerings. No other restaurants nearby. 5-10 minutes away from a convenience store (Alfamart). WiFi available, but slow.

This is one of the nicest hotels in Batangas and the service is EXCELLENT. However don't believe the reviews that the food is better than the others. We had awful crab corn soup and shrimp pizza, both were really awful. The drinks were great though and the views awesome, great pool.
