I was weary from the reviews, but I had a great experience. My room 210 was clean beside me, sanitizing it, the microwave and fridge. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Great location next to my aunt. It was well worth the price. Whenever I return back to Austell GA, I will stay there again....

This was one of the nastiest places I’ve ever stayed. I figured that for $80, it would have been a little better.. if I spent just $30 more, I could have stayed in an actual hotel. The comforters had stains on them, the “non smoking” room smelled like weed, and it looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom floor was wet, there was what I assumed to be coffee all over the bathroom counter. The paint on the door was completely peeled off (and the ceiling). The bathtub was DISGUSTING. Hair in the tub, stains on the wall (what looked like poop). We had just driven 8.5 half hours and needed to shower but it was so disgusting we decided not to. We just needed a place to rest for the night before getting back on the road so we weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but this was the nastiest motel. We felt even more dirty just staying there. It was also advertised that there would be breakfast and when we walked in around 8:30, there was nothing there. The guy at the front desk later brought us a frozen sandwich and that was it. Overall horrible experience. Again, our bar was low and we weren’t expecting a super nice place, but for $80, we expected a little more. At least a clean room. It’d be nice to get a refund but I doubt they give those out. I’d suggest spending a little more for a nicer place. Also—internet doesn’t work and there is barely any signal in the rooms. Big problem for those who need to be in contact with people or use their phone.

It was VERY DISGUSTING. Beer caps all over rooms floor and beer in refrigerator. Bathroom tub was super nasty with putty lining the Tub very thick and sloppy. When you step in the tub you can feel a lot of water and heat it swishing around. There is also black mold coming out of tub. Very unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I took pictures and video and made sure to call customer service because the manager at the hotel won’t do anything but have a attitude and will not give refund when you request to check out. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Please do NOT GO HERE!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is filthy! We had to continously change rooms from the moment we arrived until 1AM! This was due to 1st the bathtub was sinking and leaking, horrible smell, and just disgusting all the way around. The next room was pretty much the same bathroom purely gross I was afraid to fall asleep tbh. The last move was still unacceptable bc the rooms are outdated, very poorly cleaned, and need TLC however with this room the lock kept malfunctioning so at this point we were locked out or had to leave the door cracked to gain access. I definitely won't be back here and I encourage all tourist or passing throughers to KEEP DRIVING!

First, we needed to come home soon. We booked through Expedia and the manager refused to budge on our reservation. Fine, that's on us, we paid in advance, emergency or not, they're not obligated to refund. The room. It was awful. Smelled of mold. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, dead moth in the bathroom, bathtub overlay had cracks in it so there was standing water under the tub, making it feel like it was going to break through the floor. Our cooler leaked a little water when we moved it, so we used a towel to clean the floor. The towel was SO GROSS so you know they never clean the floor. We asked for a new room. First, manager said they were booked, so my sister asked "so if I went on the site and booked a room, new person, you wouldn't have a room?" He acquiesced and showed her a room. Same issues. Showed her a second room that was acceptable, but then the floor on the towel happened and we were grossed out. We ate the 2 nights we prepaid for and left. At one point during our exchanges, my sister said to the manager "it's like you just want to take our money" and he said "yes, I just want your money". We would have been much more satisfied with having to stay those 2 nights, or eating our money, if the manager had any ounce of compassion or regret with policy. There was another worker there who was nice and caring, and the maintenance guy was stellar. The owner? Abborhant, rude, and needs to be taken down a peg or three. The rooms are gross, the service is bad. The only good thing is the location to Six Flags.

If this place were considered a "dive", that would be a significant upgrade! DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SICK AND HAVE SEVERAL DOCTOR BILLS! I travel a lot and have stayed at thousands of hotels in the United States, Mexico, Bahamas and Jamaica. I have stayed in some dives but this one has to be the most disgusting hotel of them all. The room had MANY flies and gnats flying around, as well as other bugs. There was mold everywhere and the room was clearly not clean!!!! The first night stay I woke up with a rash on my neck. It was small and itchy but I thought it was just irritated from the detergent or something. When I woke from the second night stay it was all down my arms back and legs. I am now on antibiotics, steroids and Valtrex because the doctors cant figure out what it is. I have now spend a lot more money on medical bills than the hotel stay and it still isn't getting better. They barely attempt to clean the rooms and I watched them clean one room from my car. They literally picked up trash, changed the sheets and reused the same bedding. To put this into perspective, the floor of our room was so dirty that we cleaned them with one of the 3 towels that we had to reuse for the full 3 day stay. Just cleaning the floor, the white towel was completely covered in black. This hotel needs closed down, condemned and the owners need held accountable. Why charge extra cleaning fees and don't even clean????

The management doesn't seem to know the rules regarding Wyndham Rewards. I am a diamond member and at check in, I asked about upgrade availability and was told there was availability but I'd have to pay (just for clarification, one of the perks of being a diamond member is that you get free upgrades at check in as long as there is a room available). After speaking with the Manager and explaining and showing that I am a diamond member, he laughed and said he didn't care what I was and that he would *never* give an upgrade for free. I politely stated that I didn't understand why he was being so rude and he said "you can call whoever you want about it, my name is [redacted] and I'm in charge here." His tone was extremely demeaning and I've never felt so disrespected by hotel staff in my life. It would be one thing if there was no availability but this was just a man on a power trip. Stay away from this place if you want to be treated like a human being. Looking at other reviews, this “manager” is rude to everyone he comes in contact with. The room was also not very clean but it was so late at night and we were so exhausted we felt like we had no choice but to stay. I will never stay here again. The ONLY plus is that this hotel is minutes from six flags.

Theft!!! hidden cameras. Steals your money! I repeat theft. Also manager stated they have cameras in the rooms his exact words!!! So they know if you smoke in rooms! And if you set ac on 61* that means you smoke in room. He charged us $250 the day after our check out. Even tho he physically checked out our room and refunded our deposit. This is theft. He had no right to charge us. We do not smoke. We vape. He said even smoking outside on property is against his rules. No signs posted anyways!!! Bed bugs. Nasty rooms. Pool was unswimmable.

SILENT HILL + CROOKS Well, at first I thought that I got what I paid for. It's a really cheap hotel near to my workplace and also near to Six Flags. When you check-in you must use the after hours bullet-proof window. That is where the signs are posted about No Breakfast, No Pool, as well as the notice about the $100 deposit. The room itself is in disrepair, it smells bad and caused me to have nasal allergies (Probably Mold). The ceiling reminds me of Silent Hill when the paint starts to melt off the walls, it's that bad. The lamps are covered in rust and everything is in desperate need of cleaning. BIGGEST CON There is no cellphone reception in the room Verizon and T-mobile and the wifi is not good enough to get you by. If you step outside of your room the cell reception is great. HOTEL STAFF AND SECURITY DEPOSIT I wasn't going to write a review but this issue pushed me over the edge. After nearly a week I hadn't received a refund for my $100 deposit. It had fully been posted to my bank account. When I called the hotel they said they had no record of my stay at the hotel, therefore no record of my deposit. I looked at my Wyndham Rewards account and the booking is marked as canceled! Even though I stayed in the room for 3 nights. I filed a dispute with Wyndham and the hotel called me and told me that they have no record of me ever paying a $100 deposit. They know that everyone has to pay a deposit when checking in. So not only did I not receive my deposit back, I also did not receive reward points for my stay. All in all, with the deposit I paid $105 a night which could have gotten me a much nicer room elsewhere without a deposit. UPDATE 10/17/2021 After threatening to charge-back the full hotel stay, they hotel decided to issue a refund of the $100 deposit, however the refund request was not made to their credit card processor until one week after my stay. For anyone staying in the hotel that uses a card for the security deposit. Be sure to get a refund receipt before leaving the hotel. OVERALL EXPERIENCE I would NOT recommend anyone stay at this hotel for all the reasons listed above. The hotel owners and staff are crooks and run this hotel like slumlords. The hotel itself is probably not very healthy to sleep in and the drama related to the owners is not good for your mental health. Don't let the price fool you, stay at one of the hotels on Thorton Road or in Douglasville.

No house keeping stayed 2 weeks on business and no one cleaned emptied trash or would even change our sheets or towels . I had to go to the front desk and get cleaning supplies and towels and do it myself. And breakfast is grandma cookies and juice. Smh. I can't believe this is a wyndham hotel.

this place is utterly disgusting. I came here with family and friends for Six Flags, but didn’t want to pay a price for an Atlanta hotel. This place advertises an outdoor pool, and good, clean rooms. This has none, the pool is almost fully drained, maybe half way, but there is green in it and PLANTS are growing at this point. The ceiling is peeling off, the room has very extremely mysterious stains, and cig burns everywhere. The bathroom sink is even peeling and has stains all in it and most of the outlets don’t even work. The only good thing is that a lady at the front desk had a dog.

I checked in and read the room wrong on the card but my key worked..... walked into a dirty room and was informed I went into the wrong room.... then why did my key work. Stayed 2 days, when I left for the day to Six Flags at 10am my room was never touched. I DID NOT put the do not disturb card up. No need made, no fresh towels, nothing.

Zero stars every room has mold. Trust I changed rooms five times. They refused to refund my money. I came here to swim with my family. Rocks and glass in the pool. They spray paint over the mold in all the bathrooms and closets. They is no ventilation in any of the rooms. They smell awful. The rooms are so dirty and dusty. It was the worst stay of my life. I paid over five hundred dollars for a moldy stay.

It's definitely a budget hotel. That's probably the best thing you can say about it. The rooms are pretty bad, rusted lamps, smells like must, paint coming off the walls and there was cigarette burns in everything. No roaches though. They also have a 100 dollar deposit.

My stay was great! I visited the Six Flags nearby and the customer service was incredible! I would definitely recommend the suite 301. The room was clean and the staff was friendly!

Service was amazing! Their owners are so nice and their dog is also super cute. Being so close to Six Flags is amazing, it made my trip so much easier!

You pay for what you get. It was by no means luxurious but I did not have any major issues while staying here (June 2023). No bugs, mold, etc. Paint chipping in a few areas of the room. The sheets were clean but there were some burn holes. The tub was painted and smelled like fresh paint but it was otherwise fine. Breakfast was very light. No noise/disruption at night and didn’t feel unsafe while here. Service wasn’t awesome but no one was rude to me.

DO NOT STAY!!! Check the room right away, I checked in parked my car and went to six flags then went to look at the room and they are trying to not give a refund. The most disgusting room I've ever been in. the bedding had burn holes in it, the sheets were stained, we shined a flashlight in the corners and bugs started moving. We had to shine flashlights to look around since it was missing a light bulb probably to try and hid it.

When you're trying to save money and you just got in town, having peace is the most. It's not the best, it smells old, the little fridge is frozen over and the shower height is made for a child or very small adult. The beds are comfortable though, and the internet isn't congested like other places. After a couple of days you'll either choose to stay a little longer or you'll find something more accommodating to The superficial needs. You get what you pay for it was within the budget for now.

I've had an OK experience... Some money to take care of what I need, while I was there. Hey the places are accessible. Guest are treated OK, but could be better. The rooms are decent, but staff will try not to clean the rooms. Truly not caring about my guest. Ginn/ KIA

Hmmm... The reviews you read are all correct. The hotel is old and run down, the rooms are old and ugly, Muhammad is a sad man, and it could use a wrecker ball or implosion for a complete rebuild. Pictures are of the sofa bed mattress in room 301. Sheets have stains. However, we reserved a suite to sleep 5 and got that. The suites are on the third floor and separated by a different door. There is two suites in that small section, so you're kind of separated from other guest. They have plenty of room for 6 people comfortably. We had 301, which was old and smelled bad. There was also a leak by the fire sprinkle and molded spots, unpainted sections in the tub, a lot of other issues. We reached out to the clerk, happened to be Bill instead of Muhammad. Bill moved us over to 302 and WOW! So much different. Yea, still old and typical age related issues but it was much cleaner, smelled better, AC actually worked. Thanks Bill!! We were frightened when Muhammad came the next day and said there was no leak, I thought he was gonna move us back but husband showed him the leak and he was very nice about it. He is a little extreme at first but if you see him a couple of different times, he's actually very nice and approachable. All in all...If on a budget and need a room for 5-6 people or somewhere cheap where the kids can be safe and free, I RECOMMEND this place. Get the suite and ask for room 302. BRING YOUR own sheets and blankets, instead of the curtains they call blankets.

Whatever is lower than bad, that is what this hotel is! Very rude, no customer service at all. Have you literally standing outside at night at check in window to check into room VERY UNSAFE! Had problems with the key opening the door and instead of manager giving a key that works he leaves (not saying anything about what he was doing) goes and unlocks the door with a master key he had leaving me and people behind us totally confused. He comes back, we go up to room and key STILL doesn't work. After being polite (and not going there) he pops off even more rudely and I finally demanded my money back! DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL!

The breakfast is a lie... they had 3 boxes of mini muffins. The night staff is extremely rude and messed up the room key twice during a one night stay. Don't trust your key to open your room. And even if you don't bring pets they ask you if you paid the pet fee.... there is junk all around the lawn that looks like it's been there a while. Not to mention amenities are poor. Many ice machines are missing... 0/5 if I could

This motel is not in the best location. It looks junky! The sleeper sofa is raggedy. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived. The front desk clerk is not the nicest person. We had to pay $100 deposit on top of what we had already paid when we got here. The 3rd party site we booked from (GovX) did not mention a deposit. I have stayed in way nocer HOTELS and not have to pay a deposit once I paid in full. The pool is NASTY! No telling when it has been cleaned last. I will NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend anyone else staying here.

This was the absolute worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at first my cousin and I requested a double non smoking room and they put us in the dirtiest double bed smoking room. Not only that the room smelled like mold and bleach mixed the carpet was beyond dirty like they haven’t cleaned it since the hotel has been open.!! Not only that our shower was messed up the water wouldn’t go down we requested a different room and the man told us no then he tried to fix the tub with a wire hanger but it’s not even that the whole hotel is just busted it needs to be shut down and remodeled.. They charge and extra $100 at the window after you’ve already booked.!! On top of all of that the smell from the room made me sick I’m allergic to mold and also had to go to the hospital after my stay here.. I was throwing up couldn’t eat was feeling light headed.!! I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL.!! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.!! I wish I could give this a negative 100..

This was $72 with taxes before I gave him my deposit I ask to see the room 2nd fl it was nasty and really bad odor. I booked it on booking.com I tried to cancel and it wouldn't kept giving an error. By the 10 try his wife come and show me a room on the first floor that was clean smelled like she had just cleaned the room sheet was fresh gave clean pillows. The first room sheets had spots bedspread had spots. They say breakfast but no breakfast I would've eaten if there were food. The power kept going out tried to do work in the dark after about 2-3- hours the power stayed on. You must be prepared when you book a hotel you know nothing about.

Horrible. Do not spend your time in this hotel! Staff do not speak English properly! Staff is rude! A staff woman was acting as the boss, been so rude and threatening the guests to cancel the reservation if they complained about something! She took my key and threatening to refund part of my money and cancel my reservation because I complain! It was late evening and I was with my family! I should sue them! It was so humiliating! They also advertise breakfast but they do do offer that! The room was dirt, wall dirt, dust everywhere, smell terrible, pillows not comfortable, etc.

We had a great stay. No problem with our room at all. Yes it is a older hotel it's fair and reasonable. Easy check staff was friendly. It's does say breakfast and pool but that's a no go. Plenty of restaurants around. How many ppl actually eat at the hotel? We were literally 7 mins from Six Flags. Over all I will stay here again. Why spend so much money on a room that is holding my stuff while I'm gone all day?

I've stayed here a couple times in the past years. It wasn't fancy but decent. Arrived tonight to find lobby barricaded with signs saying due to covid no breakfast. Looked through window on side where you have to now talk to manager and lobby is full of laundry, boxes, and bins. Dog sleeping on chair. Some kid. I assume the owners is just randomly wandering the grounds and around cars seeming suspicious. Room is dingy and smells. Light in area with sink doesn't work. Majorly run down place now

Said it was a decent hotel it was more like a minus zero but I can't leave that. Hold on the ceiling. All the lights have rest on them. I don't think the top bedding was clean. Cockroaches. No way to control the climate AC or heat did not work. Pool closed. No food like they said they were supposed to have breakfast. Dirty. I think we should get a refund.
