Ordered vegetable egg foo young. The vegetables were whole pieces about 3 inches long. It was more like a soggy veggie tempura. The gravy provided was not a gravy but more of dipping sauce. The fried rice was hard and the spring rolls were crispy on the outside but the inside was overcooked and mushy. I called to express my dissatisfaction and was offered no substitution or refund.

Very rude, called to place an order the guy answered & said what do you want. I went in & questioned the phone etiquette & his response was...is this the American Culture, "YOU PEOPLE" call & just place an order. What exactly are we supposed to do, if we're calling to place an order? Ask about your family?! His response was that's the American Culture! I've been patronizing this place for 2 years, but I'll NEVER go back!

Update Went back today for replacement shrimp rolls and the owner was super nice, very apologetic and the shrimp rolls were cooked perfectly. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but the food quality has gone down. The shrimp rolls I received were burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing.

I have been a customer of Green Lotus since 2015. The cashier was never that friendly but I ignored his attitude because the food was good. On Monday June 26, 2023 I ordered my standard dish, Chicken Egg Foo Young. My take-out order consisted of 3 nice size patties, however there was NO chicken in the patties. Since the restaurant is closed on Tuesday, I brought my uneaten portion of the patties back to the restaurant on Wednesday. I assumed the chef mixed up my order and forgot to put the chicken in the patties. The unfriendly clerk refused to hear my complaint and insisted there was chicken present, but it was not chicken. It looked like a chunk of egg. Then the clerk asked for my phone number to confirm that I had actually placed the order. Well he found it and I found this ploy insulting, I would not bring food back to an establishment that I didn't buy from. The clerk then questioned my loyalty, and said his records indicate, I had not been in the restaurant since 2020, so I am "NOT" a loyal customer. I couldn't believe this type of scrutiny over a $13.95 Chicken Egg Foo Young dinner. I ordered take-out religiously during and post pandemic and I know he knows my face. By the way, the dinner was originally $8.95 and now it's $13.95. I am not complaining about the increase in price as I know since the pandemic, all goods and foods have increased. Bottom line, I was humiliated and not offered anything to remedy the situation. I am done with GREEN LOTUS. Poor customer service and BAD attitude. Please pay attention to your order. GREEN LOTUS doesn't deserve to be in our community.

Huge fan of these little counter service Chinese shops, they crank out some serious fresh food and flavor! Will be back for sure.

If I had a choice, it would be NO stars, Jet Li with a cap on memorized my number from a previous call which he was rude to me because he was upset, based of up call he had received prior to me and the customers were rude to him, so he decided to take it out on me, being the next caller. Jet Li (owner) says he wouldn't take my order when I went in the restaurant because he kept hanging up my calls, based of the fact that he was rude to me because of what a prior customer did...the customer is ALWAYS right, rude or not, so you can't take it out on other customers, because someone was rude to you on the phone...TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

No dine in only take away :( I drove 45 minutes to eat here because I heard they had reopened. No tables and chairs. Only takeaway or delivery. I wanted to order but by the time I get home the food will be cold :(

My first time coming to this restaurant and I wont be back. First the guy was very rude. Second I asked for fried rice with my food and they gave me white rice with soy sauce on it. The soup should have been a dollar it was so small for 2.50 I will get three spoon full out of it. The spring rolls were just spring because they were so SMALL. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The cashier is completely rude. He has NO customer service. I’ve heard about his rude behavior before but today I got to experience it firsthand. He’s vindictive. He claims he’s the owner but I find that extremely hard to believe because an owner would not speak to customers that way. Not to mention there is no more seating so you can’t dine in. It’s like they just want to take your money and get you out of there as soon as possible. TERRIBLE customer service all the way around. Go give your money to a business who will actually appreciate it, NOT this place.

I called 18 times trying to place an order. No answer. I get here there’s no customers so I tell the guy at the counter I’ve been calling. He tells me what my number is and says yeah we didn’t answer🤬🤬….. end of conversation. When I told him I wouldn’t return because of his rudeness he got really emotional. I think he was upset about his haircut or something. 😭😭😂

I ordered the sesame chicken & general Tso chicken chicken egg rolls veggie spring rolls & shrimp egg roll. The sesame chicken and general Tso chicken were surprisingly semi soft. the chicken breast used in the dishes were a bit dry but it was visibly more meat than batter which is better than most Chinese restaurants.

The food is consistently good. The food is perfectly seasoned and not oily. The vegetables are fresh. I have never received an inaccurate order.

Very disappointed for the first time. I ordered a shrimp fry rice, only half box full, I wasn't even full. $12.50 for that price, I can get it from other place, cheaper price with bigger quantity. I won't come back again.

Service is 0 stars! Cashier has a horrible attitude. You can tell he dislikes his profession. Smells like hot garbage & SEWAGE in the dining area. Not sure how they received an “A” rating. There is no aroma of food in the entire facility. If so it is masked by the odor. Food is a 3/5 pretty decent. The sushi place a few doors to the left smelled better.

This is not a place to sit down and have 3 Michelin star dinning. It IS the best place to order some absolutely top notch Chinese take-out, with no pomp, but simply delicious flavors fast and consistent experience! Worth every penny and my wife and I do not look elsewhere.

Green Lotus is my go-to for local Chinese food. The vegetables are fresh. They always prepare my food per my request. Dine in is not available yet. I am hoping they will soon. Food tastes so much better when it is eaten as soon as it is cooked into the plates. So. When you are placing an order for more than one you must specify if the order is: 1. Two bags - one ticket 2. Two bags - two tickets That makes the process go smooth and (forget his name) him happy 😊 I've been going to Green Lotus for 10 years or close to it. P.S. please have your "Dine In" open. People will come. Your food is awesome!!

Tried Green Lotus for the first time last night - ordering was very easy and their menu had a nice variety. Food was ready on time, warm when we ate (shortly after picking up) and tasty.

I have eaten here 3x and each time it has gotten worse. Not sure why I kept coming back… The first Time my kids said their food tasted old, the second time the water chestnuts were sour that should have been it for me. I gave him a third chance the chicken in my spicy garlic chicken was spoiled and I got food poisoning never again.

I LUUUUUUUV this food. Everything is FRESH! My egg rolls were perfect. The house special fried rice is simply delicious. General Tso’s chicken was breaded just right. I hope they dont change the cook or the recipe. This is my 2nd time eating this this week and I have been looking for a great Asian restaurant for a while. There is no dine in but food is good.

If you are looking for decently priced Chinese comfort food go here. If you’re looking for fancy and elaborate Chinese, this is not the place for you. The ordering on their online website is as easy as the pick up. It’s hard to find a place where two people can eat and be full for $35 anymore.
