Theee best Jamaican food in Austell and maybe the Metro Atlanta area. Gooooo here!!! U won't regret it. Don't go in with skinny pockets asking for oxtails lol. We know they cost. Don't forget the coco bread.

I went here on 7/14/2021 I got the oxtail dinner and a veggie patty. They’re food is good & authentic. You must try it out, you won’t be disappointed! They are friendly people and they make sure your order is correct before leaving . I sat inside and ate my dinner and took the rest home. You will miss the turn if not paying attention but it’s right next to this tire shop. Treat yourself to this lovely Jamaican restaurant :) SN: only thing I didn’t care for was the cabbage everything else was great 👍

Having had the pleasure of visiting this take-out spot multiple times, I can confidently say that the customer service is consistently friendly and welcoming. The oxtails, which I have enjoyed on numerous occasions, are nothing short of phenomenal. Their exceptional flavor and tenderness have left a lasting impression. If you're seeking an incredible take-out experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

First time here & it didn’t disappoint. The food was fresh hot and good portion size. I had the soup , and oxtail and ordered my mom the fish. My mom said the fish was a little bland however the oxtails and soup were very delicious.

Food was absolutely 💯 DELICIOUS!!!! clean restaurant, very reasonable price and a large quantity of food. The food has some serious flavor. The ginger shots are very good as is the Pineapple passion and immunity drink. The hand pies were very good too. My favorite is the curry chicken meal...sooo good. Will be back...oh and the owner is super friendly!

I have had their meals a time or 2 as well as beef and curry patties. Never had an issue until today. I ordered 2 beef patties and when I tasted them they tasted like Golden Krust frozen beef patties! Such a disappointment as I could have bought my own pack from the store. They were NOT homemade! I called to inquire and I didnt get a direct answer. I know a real beef patty when I taste it and THAT wasn't it today! Y'all making a killing selling store patties for $3 a piece. Terrible..that turned me off!

I love their brown stew salmon with rice/peas and plantains meal. That’s the only thing i have tasted. Food ALWAYS steaming hot and fresh. Great customer service, good vibes.I just wish they sides were cheaper. A very very small container of mac n cheese is $5. Or keep the price but make the container bigger.

The best Jamaica food, I've had in years. I moved to Alabama and I have not found any food as good . I had oxtail, curry goat roti, I house made Irish moss. Excellent. If in this area support them. It's hard find good food. The curry is off the chain. Can't wait to go back. I have to get out of bama.

I was visiting from L.A. California and this was the best Jamaican food I have EVER tried. We don't have a lot of jamaican resturaunts where I live but this place is just way better. Will definitely go again on my next trip.

I have been wanting oxtails for months and just haven't been able to find any that were good.... but let me tell you these are 🔥. At first I thought it was a little pricey but after I tasted the food it was worth every penny. Keep up the good work 👏

Food is absolutely delicious but has changed over time. It’s a rarity if they offer spinach which is unfortunate since it’s the best vegetable there. The meals are with the $10+ price anymore.

I use to be a faithful customer. Not anymore. Had me on the phone my whole drive getting off work. Just to not take my order. Then laugh about when I get there. Wasted my time and gas. Should have just went to Walmart.

Every experience I’ve had at De Irie has been amazing. From the food and the patties to the market inside with vendor goods, to the service provided it’s an all around beautiful experience. Looking forward to seeing the new and bigger location in the future. Many blessings De Irie family!

Wow!!! I am a northern native and Jamaican food is a fav for us. It was very hard for me to find a restaurant that gave me that "up north" taste. Whew!!! This food is amazing, fresh, and tasty. The service is A-1 and the hospitality is off the chain. They are the full package

Absolutely Phenominal food, Service, And Laid back Atmosphere. Love to grab a Ox Tail dinner here, 1-2 Times a Week If i can. Plenty of food, a Plate can fill 2 people easy. Glad they are blessed enough to be abke to Move in a new upgraded location, And firmly planted within our community, such a Gem of a place around here.

Hey guys, this classic gem has moved and finally opened It’s new location. Please take the time to look for it in the large plaza next to “Jah” and do not be fooled by its old location that has put a sign saying it’s “under new management.” as a Caribbean American that was born and raised in New York. I can tell you De Irie is one of the only Jamaican food places I will eat at. They are consistent with the flavors and sticking to true Caribbean roots! A lot of the other Jamaican restaurants, lack in flavor and authenticity. New location looks great and more room to sit down and dine in if you choose.

De Irie is a phenomenal place. This is my second time trying Jamaican food and it is superb. The owners, Mr and Mrs Walden are fantabulous! This Iis a great place for meetings and parties. Also perfect for date night.
