Initially told a 30 minute and waited nearly an hour. Once seated our waiter was attentive and made the experience great. Drinks ( strawberry margarita) tasted amazing. Food was good for the most part. Love that they bring huge baskets and chips and salsa. Food was delivered very quickly although the wait to be seated was extended.

Beautiful restaurant. Service was wonderful. The table side guacamole was prepared perfectly. Quite the experience. I do feel there's an imbalance for the cost of the food versus the quality as far as the menu items go. Everything else wasn't too bad just not great.

Where do I begin, the overall view of the place is very eye pleasing. The hostess was not super friendly- they were busy chitchatting with their peers instead of directing us to our table. The menu has a lot to choose from and there is a nice drink menu. Unfortunately, they were out of several things. Our waiter was very kind he definitely tried his best and stayed upbeat and positive despite the inconveniences. One of our meals were never made, so that kind gave us a setback. The lighting was very dim and dark it made it kind of hard to read the menu. Music was a bit loud which made it hard to converse comfortably. The ladies restroom was sort of a disaster. The food overall tasted well and had a nice presentation- but the small things really do count.

This place is always, always packed! Now I see why… we ordered nachos that had shredded chicken as well as ground beef..it was sooo delicious! I didn’t like the runny cheese but they were yummy. The frozen margaritas was on special for $5 & were good. The karaoke was a good time, nice mixed crowd & variety of music. Our server, Jose, had excellent service with a nice smile! I’ll definitely be back to dine! Plenty of parking, family oriented, huge dining room with totally separate bar area.

Superior service, insane atmosphere, and freaking fabulous flavorful food. When you put all that together you get five stars and a flavor town 101. Everything we had was perfect and the complimentary chips and “should be jared and sold at local grocery store” salsa was the perfect starter. If you’re looking to take taco Tuesday to the next level, take your troops to this place. ✌️😎

It was good, but nothing super special. The food was definitely decent and the portion sizes were huge. It wasn't the best Mexican place I've been to, but it was definitely still a yummy meal. We got the queso dip, which actually was fine, but then mixed with their salsa was great. They bring TONS of chips to the table, so that is a huge plus. I got the quesadilla Texana, and asked for the shrimp on the side (I didn't want it flavoring the chicken and steak, but I paid for it, so I still want it!) It ended up being good, but not the best quesadilla I've had. They did put the shrimp on the side and they tasted great. Husband got chimichanga and it wasn't the best he's had, either, but he still enjoyed it. Service was good at the beginning, but toward the end of our meal, our server didn't come by often. I asked for a dessert menu and looked at it, but it took so long for the server to come back that I didn't order dessert there, though they all looked delicious. Overall, an enjoyable night, but out of the 3 Marietta Diner restaurants we've been to, this was at the bottom.

Not sure what happened to my review, we've eaten here probably 25 times. With so many Mexican restaurants available, you know it has to be good if we keep coming back. Fajitas, street tacos, table side guacamole, chips, salsas, hand made desserts, giant beers and excellent service make this place great! I'd drive 30 minutes in traffic because this place is that good! 👍

Awesome vibes, great drinks, great food, beautiful cakes. One order of cake is enough for 2-3 people. Will be returning! Very big and spacious. Good music, not too loud. Cool decorations, nice staff. I had seafood chimichanga and white chocolate raspberry cake. Note, the rice was not very good tho, dry.

My honey and I went for Date Night Dinner!! The food was great and came out quickly! The drinks were bomb (strong too). Chips and queso for appetizer. We ordered Reese cheesecake and cookies and cream cheesecake! Even ordered a slice to go! The music was good and but mid way through our dinner the music went off!!

Wow! Ordered the street tacos! First the waiter was great, food came out quickly and he was very attentive and friendly! Food was amazing and so was the service! Dessert was so, so good! We had to share the cake it was huge! I loved the atmosphere as well, very lively - maybe a bit loud so conversations are louder - but overall great.

Chicken quesadillas are awesome. We had the appetizers trio and shrimp cheese dip. We also ordered chicken poblano. I are here when it was "testing" and hated everything lol.... even the salsa but wow have they turned around. I don't have anything negative to say at all. Gus has too many restaurants with too many items but he hit the ball outta the park with this one. Mafia money or not, try it haha

We order the Parrillada Rey and Loco Rice Taxano. The Paradilla Rey had size options, we chose the option that feeds four and it was a TON of food for the 4 of us. The food came out hot and fresh. The meats (steak, carnitas, ribs, shrimp, chicken, sausage, chorizo) were all flavorful and juicy. The flour tortillas seem to be house made. The tomatillo sauce that the server offered was nice and spicy with good flavor. We also got desert to go and if you can't decide, just go with the million dollar cheese cake. Omg. So good. The chocolate mouse cake is also a great one. They all looked so good. I think we all gained 10 pounds in this one outing. Our server was phenomenal, well knowledge on the menu and patient! The manager even stopped by to check on us a couple of times and helped us choose our cakes. This restaurant will now be in our regular rotation. 100% recommend them for quality of food and quality of service! Hard to find these days.

I went to Casa Grande on Saturday and I was pleased overall. There was a bit of a wait but once we were seated our orders and appetizers came out immediately. Our waitress was helpful and very friendly and the meal was tasty. I would go back and try more items that I didn’t get to try. I would recommend this restaurant just be prepared to wait if it’s on the weekend.

I usually love coming here! Great food and nice service. Hands down the best Guacamole! Eating in the restaurant has always been the best time and the employees are friendly! Ambiance is nice and chill. The desserts they served is unbelievable! More diner style, but delicious! Now that they have a drive thru it is more convenient to grab and go. Unless it is during their peak times and on Taco Tuesday! The wait could be a little longer than usual. Yes, it is worth the wait! The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is I have had a couple of incorrect orders. Minor mistakes that irks you...hard tacos instead of soft as requested or the request for no onions that was not honored. Overall, I still would give them a try and I go there at least once a month! Eat, Live, Laugh, Love!

Better service could have made this meal better despite lack of seasoning and taste of food. I had not been to CG in over 5 yrs and it was a disappointing return. Food was bland and service was just as bad 🤷🏽‍♂️ not a total fail. But didn’t leave me wanting to come back anytime soon.

Thursday Night Karaoke 🎤 if you want goof food...great drinks...and just an atmosphere...this is a great night to go to the bar area and enjoy...some singing is great...some not so great but it a great atmosphere with many regulars who all share this night. I also have my menu favorites...the Casa Grande Steak and Texanos Nachos. Bartenders are some time stretched but somehow they keep the regular drinks and adult beverages flowing pretty well although might be hard to get their attention. But not for lack of trying...drinks are always on point.

I love Casa Grande! I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is always great and the staff is always friendly. If you come here in the evening, be aware that there might be a longer wait time! It can get packed, especially on weekends. If you don't feel like waiting to done in you can always go through their drive thru, but be aware the drive thru menu is limited compared to what is offered when dining in. The management is top tier. I am always seeing management walking around, helping staff and asking guests how everything is. Casa Grande is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Absolutely fantastic food, and super quick service. The burritos are absolutely incredible. Also I loved the unique “red cole slaw” - tasted like a version of kimchi almost. Definitely has a vinegar and spice base. Great guacamole and the chips/salsa really good also. Delicious margaritas and they have the option to do flavor add ons, which is super cool. Options of different sizes for margaritas varying from “this is a weeknight” to “I may never recover”. Highly recommend.

Music was constant. Food was okay. Nothing upscale but a scale above fast food with alcohol UPDATE: 6/23/2023 Nothing has changed except that the protein (meat) is now small shilvers. Not even noticeable in the fajita nacho Supreme. Tableside guacamole is the best. Dollar for dollar-go elsewhere. Friend meet-up/ see you at 5. Service is great! But, I think that this is it for us.

The Food, Drinks, Dessert and Service was phenomenal. I ordered my food blinked 5 times and boom it was there 😂😂😂, hot, fresh, and tasty. I Think Gloria was our waitress name. We were so wanting tacos. Decided to go to a local spot instead of driving across town. This is the closet to California Mexican we have gotten since moving to GA. The Texanos nachos were so good. Our daughter had tacos and my husband the barbocodia burrito. We will be back it all hit the spot

Tacos are the best ever, as was their traditional mojito! Live mariachi band was amazing! Roomy and comfortable. Manager was very annoying, hovering over me trying to turn on the braces game, which hindered my watching Coco Gauff in the semifinals of the US Open. I found that inconsiderate that he kept coming in front of my table complaining about an inability to watch the braves game. I would return only because the food is very well seasoned and staff is friendly. Well maybe I'd only order to go, it took stopping a waitress after 10 minutes to finally get water and my order taken.

Yesterday was my first time to Casa Grande Bar for over a year I have lived in Austell. I love the place, the chair settings, and the beautiful lights but I was a bit disappointed in their food. I saw that the food that I wanted has avocado 🥑 on it which is one of the major things I look out for any time I go to a Mexican restaurant, I asked them if my food comes with avocado as seen in the picture they said no, I asked why did they have it in the food menu booklet? They said is just for a picture. This is the first time I have ever heard that what you see in the menu booklet doesn't come as it's pictured. Their food is not that fantastic compared to how it looks or to other Mexican food I have eaten so far.

Food and drinks were good. Server was nice & friendly. Only thing I didn't like was they put guacamole on my food when I asked them not to.

This was my first visit. I went on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. The lunch specials were very reasonable. The food arrived fresh and in record time. The guacamole was made at our table in front of us. Jose, the server was very nice, helpful and jovial. Most importantly the food was excellent. I am definitely going to return.

We like the Marietta Diner & the Cherokee Cattle, both owned by the same company as this place. We decided to try Casa Grande. The restaurant was nice & clean. They brought out a big container/basket of chips & 2 containers of salsa. My husband ordered steak fajitas... Apparently, you have to ask for tortillas to go with the fajitas. I ordered the ground beef tacos, which were good. It won't be our go to place for Mexican food, but it was good enough that if we're ever in Austell again that we would come back again.

Steak and Shrimp Chimichurri is a go to every time!!! The steak and shrimp are packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Samantha was wonderful and very attentive. We did have a little bit of a wait due to requesting to sit in a booth. However, I appreciate the hostess consistently giving us first dibs whenever a table became available. The is a favorite spot that both me and my sister like to frequent because we are never disappointed!!

I enjoyed everything about this place. I javelin a new favorite Mexican restaurant. The portions were great and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Came here on a Monday for an impromptu self care date. My waitress was very kind and knowledgeable. I can be pretty picky and tend to have lots of questions. My waitress happily answered every question I had and laughed with me. The Buffalo calamari is a new addition to their menu but very tasty. I tried the dish without the spicy sriracha sauce because I’m not a fan of sriracha. Instead, I drizzled Buffalo wing sauce over the calamari and it was delicious! My drink was also very tasty and very strong! The scallop fajitas were okay, nothing to write home about. I suggest seasoning the food more like an authentic Mexican restaurant to reach that next level flavor. I do suggest this restaurant if you want some tasty Mexican-like food.

Had the TexMex during my work lunch and it did not disappoint at all. The steak was well seasoned and had just enough onions and peppers. I did not experience the customer service as it was picked up by our boss but I would order this again.

Prices too high for the quality of the food. The sandwich was good a little dry but I enjoyed it. We had to keep asking for condiments that should have come with the food. A glass of tea was 3.00 but I saw tables that had no problem with ordering multiple alcoholic drinks and high price dishes more power to you if you have the money to splurge like that I ain't even mad at ya lol but me I don't have it like that. This is more my sister taste ( Mexican food) I only like fajitas but the sandwich was more than enough for lunch even tho we got in there about 5 mins pass lunch hour.

Great service and food

The food is great, their house salsa is my favorite. But I'm giving three stars because despite their website and Google listing saying "curbside pickup", what it actually means is "come inside, walk all the way to the back of the building". So, I, despite trying to be safe during this pandemic, unknowingly sent my spouse into a fricken super spreader event at this place because they wouldn't bring the food curbside as expected. Because they're operating at full capacity right now despite our numbers being out of control. And on top of that, when my spouse got home, we found that we were missing an entire entree.

Friendly atmosphere ! The server was great and knowledgeable about the food. The salsa was fresh and very delicious. Our desserts was epic and good.

Recently, me and my partner decided to try this place out and it was just terrible. The customer service was amazing but the food came out really fast and just seemed rushed. My partner ordered the beef tacos and the meat looked like it came from a pre made pack. She didn’t enjoy it at all. The next morning she had a terrible case of food poisoning and we both believe it was from the “ beef” on the tacos.

One of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is pleasant and nicely decorated. The bar is awesome and the food is great. I've eaten here maybe 5 times. My parents eat here very often & my mom is very picky about where she eats, so yeah this place is a great choice.

Great guacamole, and great service. All of the entrés we had at our table were delicious. Coming back next Sunday with two more family members. I went back since first posting this review, and I was disappointed with the serving size of their super burrito. I went to Laredo's in Kennesaw and found their super burrito to be bigger and cost less, not to mention it taste as good. It wasn't just my dish that seemed small but my wife's as well.
