First time here. We don't know what took us so long to try this place. Delicious! Made exactly how you want. Crispy thin crust. Staff was so friendly and seemed like they actually liked working there. We'll def be back!

Just wanted to share what a little over $40 dollars gets you from MOD. If you're looking for a mouth full of minced garlic and grease on cardboard, then their garlic bread is for you. The kids wanted an Alfredo sauce and cheese pizza but what we got was a really thin cardboard flavor with some cheese. The pizza for the wife and I was suppose to have 3 different cheeses. Now I don't know about you but it looks more like a sauce pizza with a hint of cheese. Not only that, we got it for delivery and it didn't come until almost 20 minutes later then when it said it would arrive. It was all cold

When I went here, I expected good pizza, and good service. What I got was amazing service that exceeded my expectations, and horrible tasting pizza. The dough tasted half raw, the sauce had an undescribable taste to it. The cheese was extremely garlicky, and toppings were flavorless, and NOT worth 10 dollars. The cheese garlic bread sticks with red sauce were even worse somehow and also NOT worth 8 dollars. The bread sticks tasted more like garlic than cheese and bread, and the red sauce used was even worse than the sauce for the pizza, and it was COLD. I don't ever plan to go back to this location again. 2/2 stars for service, 0/3 stars for food.

Absolutely love how you can choose what you want on your pizza. The crust is flavored well. Will definitely be back anytime in the area.

This place was amazing!! I wasn't feeling pizza at the time that I went in but their salads are awesome too! So much of a variety. I will definitely be coming back

I went to mod pizza for the first time today and was amazed and everything they have to offer! I was a little confused at first but the friendly staff made me feel super comfortable and knew all the answers to any and all questions I had. Maura was particularly helpful during my visit there, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and seems like a good team player! They have super good beer for cheap if you catch them on the right days! Highly recommend this place if you’ve never been! I’ll definitely be back!

Surprised they ask for a tip. They don't even bring the pizza to the table and you order from a counter. Pizza is good tho. Not a lot of cheese on it tho.

Good pizza overall very thin on the cheese sauce and toppings. If you twist their arm a little bit you'll get a little bit better Pizza. But there's only like 4 oz of dough in that pizza. And with the toppings it's actually a little bit lighter than a Jack's frozen pizza. So it tastes fine but it's not going to fill you up good for lunch but definitely not for dinner.

Friendly and fast service with really good thin and crispy crusted pizza. The tomato sauce that they use has just the right amount of garlic in it.

Pizzas are custom made. I ordered the double thick crust with red sauce, garlic, onions, and a few other toppings. It was good, but the red sauce seemed to evaporate and the pizza was dry from no sauce. Next time I'll have to ask for extra sauce. Staff is friendly as usual and wore their masks properly. Most of the tables were clean and wiped down. Great atmosphere for a pizza place.

First time to try everything! And I can say I wasn't disappointed. Very patient with people for the first time, luckily it was slower at the time, which could contribute to it. A bit confusing having the menu on the wall you walk along, I missed it before it was pointed out to me, instead of over the serving counter. Very light and tasty crust. CRUNCH! Nice variety of pre built pizzas. They should provide a small list of ingredients somewhere for the custom builds. Over all very good food. Greek Salad and Tristan pizza were fantastic!

The Machesney Park location is 100% better than the Rockford location hands down. The reason I put 4 stars is because the corperation decided to not add the ingrediant list where you pick what you want. I enjoyed being able to see the words of the things i like to add on it. I always get "Build your own" so having the list helps immensely. Both rockford and machesney park locations do this now so i know it has to come from the higher ups. Also the menu design changed for the worse(both locations). The price is now off to the side in a very small size. At the rockford location, its on a wall thats out of site. At least at the machesney location its still in site even if its small and out of the way. Before they use have the prices RIGHT THERE in plain site. Its like... What are you hiding? The fact that your prices went up? Now, for the Machesney Park location rating itself: Its always clean. The staff is always friendly. (Rockfords location are....friendly depending on whos working. And happy amongst themselves...attitude towards customers varies.) The staff actually wears gloves whem preparing your pizza. (Rockfords location does NOT. If you ask for the rockford location to wear gloves they get mad you're asking.) When making your pizza, they use the tool that pokes holes in your pizza so that it doesnt bubble up and makes the crust crispy. (When asking for them to use it at the Rockford location, it was if asking them to wear gloves AND use the tool was just way to much to understand.) The architecture is a lot better. I don't feel confined in a hallway (The rockford location is very tight because it does feel like a hallway.) They rarely burn the bottom of the pizzas at this location, and of they do, they ask if you would like them to remake it. (Rockford doesn't care. If they burn it, "Oh well. Here it is. Oh, you don't like it burned? You mean you want us to remake it??? Just eat around it.....fine......") So, if you're looking for friendly, clean, helpful service go to the Machesney Park location. Even if its a special trip to the other side of town. Its worth the trip. (The rockfords location is not worth it. You're better off just buying frozen pizza from a store and staying home just so you don't have to deal with them.) I have been to both locations enough (at least 5+ times each since they've both opened) to firmly know that this will be experience you will recieve at each one.

I can whole-heartedly say that this is the best pizza place I've been to, and has the best customer service of any food place I've been to. Not once have I been met with someone who wasn't incredibly nice. I love this place a lot, and I can't recommend it enough.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. I have a dairy and soy allergy. It is hard to find places to trust to eat at. I called because I placed an order online. I wanted to make sure they saw my allergy note. Very kind and friendly on the phone. When I picked up my food I was made aware right away without asking that they used new cutters and utensils. I was so pleased with this visit. Thank you!!!

I'm kind of pizza with everything on it. They don't care what to put on it. I like everything besides the pineapple and the jalapeno and the tomatoes. And it's delicious.

The pizzas and salads are soooo good! And the no name cakes are so decadent...yummy!! It is quite pricey( which prevents visits more often) dinner for 2...2 pizzas, 2 larger salads, drinks, cakes$60. The staff is super nice too! 😊

I LOVE their salads.. the create your own is an awesome deal and so good. But EVERY time I order, there's an issue. Most recently I did a pick up, my husband got it for me and the pumpkin cake was missing. Time before that I had no dressing. Time before that I was given the small drink and laid for the large I've emailed once about issues with no reply. I haven't emailed since and if I catch the issue before I leave I'll ask for it to be fixed, but I don't always pickup so I can't always check it before getting it home. They really need to check their orders better before sending them out.

The staff was on the ball, service was great. The girl behind the counter was excellent!! Made sure the order was done right and was very friendly. Pizza was cooked to the right temperature and speedy service. Store and bathroom was very clean. Great experience all around! Keep up the great work!

Tried the new pocket pizza. Tastes great but its just a folded mini pizza, very messy. Staff were awesome and very helpful. We got a customized pizza and a salad. Very large portions and so many options. Will be returning here often.

Had the margarita pizza which was very good. The staff was helpful and we all had the new cinnamon desert pizza which was excellent. My husband had the small make your own pizza which he said was good but not enough for him to satisfy his hunger so he will order a bigger one next time. All in all a very good experience.

I want to start off by saying I've NEVER been to MOD and had a bad time. The staff are always on point. Very tasty dairy free options! And the tartness of the blackberry lemonade?! 👌🏼no notes.

I had a "mini" side salad which was a great size and the cauliflower crust which was thin and delicious. I chose to choose my own toppings for both from a wide selection of toppings. The vinaigrette salad dressing was fantastic and the toppings were fresh. The blackberry lemonade is definitely worth a try. We're planning to head there for lunch soon.

Most of all the hospitality was on point Q is his name was very attentive & helpful. Now let's get to the food I made an all Vegan Pizza & it was DELICIOUS! Want a good pizza don't go to PJ,LC nor PH. Go to MOD & build your own. That's a fact Jack!

Mod pizza is the best pizza around because you can buy a personal 9 inch pizza for yourself and get as many of the wide varieties of toppings as you wish, and for the most part, no added costs. I love my vegetables and always ask for extra extra of everything. A worthy place to visit. They have a variety of olives, cheeses, sauces, meats, sauces that are put on after the pizza is cooked, herbs, and spices. If you haven't checked them out as of yet, you're missing out. The staff are always very welcoming and the place is spotless. We visit often, as my family is much more picky than I.

Attentive workers, great topping selections, and crispy crusts. Mod Pizza is pretty great. The prices can climb pretty quick, but for the quality you get it's worth it to me. Also, all their teas and lemonade are top notch too.

Pretty fast and good pizza. They seem to have a policy of charging the same four whatever kind of pizza you order. Personally I like pizza with just about everything on it I may be I get a bargain. It's not real expensive compared to other places. The curbside pickup is nice. The pizza itself is a little different than I'm used to but it's still okay.

Fast, friendly service pizza was as ordered! I prefer a thinner crust, but that's a personal preference.
