Horrible Service/ Very Unprofessional - was YELLED at + threatened. Consider before choosing to eat there.

As a joke for my struggling friend after a night out, I put "hungover haley" on the order. The kind souls at this location wrote a note on her soup that said "hope you feel better! Drink water" and sent a water bottle with the order. Thank you guys!

Ordered four sandwiches. Two were for my daughter and bf. Dropped her off with her sandwiches and go on our way. Get a phone call that the sandwiches are mislabeled. We have to turn around and go back. We try to switch sandwiches but realize one isn’t even made correctly. 45 minutes dealing with inept service. It’s not rocket science.

Ordered thru app 1st time messed up put wrong location tried to explain ask manager if could cancel thn place at Machesney park location she wouldn't she was very rude snappy unhelpful I asked her name she wouldn't give it to me she said to just go to other location 25 min away was her solution. Unfriendly I will never go back to this location again. Young female manager w short brown hair.

I order avo turkey. Open my sandwich to find rotten avocado on it. Why would anyone in their right mind serve this. It's rotten never again

Love Potbelly's, but the bread has a tendency to be very crumbly and fall apart. Toasted or not. Otherwise, excellent staff and good food!

The Mediterranean on flatbread is my favorite sandwich. Easy to make it vegetarian. Every cookie we’ve ever bought here has been done just right.

I ordered a sandwich today on white bread. Now, I go to Potbelly's enough to know what their white bread is like. Only after I drive all the way home to eat, do I find that my sandwich was made on an old stale pita. Very disappointing. If they would have simply said they were out of white bread, I would have chosen wheat. It will be a long while before I go back.

Food is always good but the soup was over cooked

I tried the Turkey club and it was fantastic. Felt brave, and got Zapp's Hotter 'n Hot jalepeno chips to go with it. Sandwich was superb. Loved the chips but I went through 2 bottles of water finishing them

The peppers were a little hotter than I remembered, but everything else is perfect! I wish I had one in my area...

A mediocre sandwich chain, the food is decent but over priced.

I come here about once a month, if not every other month, and every time I've been here it's always been phenomenal. The food is good, obviously fresh, but what makes the place is the staff. Every single time I've been here I have had a different crew helping me, and every single time the crew is such a vibe; always friendly, always outwardly happy, and just cool people. Doesn't matter if it's instore or drive threw, they're quick and the whole experience is absolutely worth coming back every time.

Happy Anniversary to PotBelly and the awesome staff! Jenna, Keenan, Chad , Dennis, JC, Cheyenne, and the rest of the crew that excel day in and out so we can have an awesome experience! Thank you for responding. I eat there 6 days a week and apparently have been declared an honorary member of the family.

First time being here. I Waited 30 minutes for a mobile order. Employees don't look happy. And did not acknowledge me when i was patiently waiting. There was a round guy, wearing a hat, blue shirt, blonde hair and blue eyes who was not helpful and rush me out the line when I asked for help. He seemed overwhelmed. The general manager job is to keep the store organized and keep employees happy. Will not be coming back here. Probably will be calling corporate to complain.

I came through the drive through for a veggie melt and this location knocked it out of the park! Very well made sandwich and still hot while I was eating it. Very satisfied with the team there today from the customer service to quality of the food I ordered.

The freshest sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was not dry, the tomatoes tasted like they came right off the vine and the avocados were perfectly ripe. Very impressed!

I've been going to Potbelly for a few years, and this is my favorite location! My server Matthew always has a smile on his face, and very horough with my requests. Great job to Potbelly and Machesney Park Potbelly staff.

Horrible, i called because THEY forgot my soup- lady i talked to said they can’t do anything about it besides me coming back today because they are “extremely busy” & then hungup. so it’s my fault you forgot my soup, then gonna be rude on the phone about it. i’ll be calling tomorrow to talk to a manager. After spending $52 there, this is how they act.

Delicious sandwiches and soups! Definitely suggest the broccoli cheese soup. Always had kind staff and fresh food.

Placed an order online. Called when I got there for curbside. 36 minutes from the time I placed my order and I’m still waiting in the drive thru for my sandwich. They clearly forgot about my order more than once. Awesome. Never again. UPDATE: is anyone else laughing at the response to this review? Wow.

We ordered two sandwiches and both were messed up. It says on the tickets exactly what we ordered and then you open the sandwhich up and it’s missing toppings including bacon that we paid extra for. What’s so hard about looking at the order and making the sandwhich accordingly

I just love their sandwich's and cheddar broccoli soup, Chile is also great and their coffee shakes!!!

try going to potbelly and going through the drive-through where I was told because they were only two people working I wasn’t allowed to place my order through drive-through as I watched the car in front of me go through drive-through and get their order.....thanks for wasting my time and gas. and i’m still hungry. so thanks for nothing.

I frequent the Potbelly in Machesney Park, IL. The girls that work there are absolutely phenomenal. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They always recognize my family and greet us with a smile. They have been wonderful during the pandemic shut-down as well. And my food is always correct, hot, and delicious!

Great service, wonderful food, awesome shakes, and they always have a ton of the chocolate brownie cookies lol. They're our families favorite cookies

sandwich was good but honestly not much better than what i get at subway, except the chicken was a LOT better. tasted fresher. had a bit of mac n cheese which was DELICIOUS. nice employees that served quickly.

Awesome sandwiches, when they have the Cubano, make the trip! The pot pie soup is very delicious, and the salads are fantastic too.
