Super. Very beautiful, old, large park with beautiful tall trees and a huge number of blooming flowers. And an observation deck with beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean. There are many trails for walking with the whole family. On the territory there are several enclosures with animals such as peacocks, mini deer, mountain goats, horses. There are places where you can play mini golf. At the entrance to the park there are several cafes and parking. There are toilets inside the park. There are picnic areas and picnic tables for eating, but barbecuing is prohibited.

This place should be shut down. Very inhumane treatment of the animals here.

Unexpectedly beautiful place! We entered the park without no to little expectations and were very surprised how well-kept, big and pretty this park is. It is very calm, there are various benches around to just chill and enjoy the silence among trees. You can find various animals and also a very nice viewing point at the end of the park. There is enough space for sports too and it includes also a minigolf, however, not sure how to get access to the golf clubs and balls. I found this place very peaceful and definitely a hidden gem of Madeira!

We loved this little but big park in the middle of nowhere. We started to walk it and realized that we wanted to have a picnic and relax so we went out to a local guy making bread and some type of stuff bread and went back in and relaxes for almost 2 hours. The hourse and deer was a lot of fun. Kids playing and just a happy place.

Great place with a lot of shade. Also, we’ve been here with kids and they fed animals: horses, deers. We loved it!

Absolute must-see if you are around. The small village belies the magnificiene of this beautiful park that is hidden behind an inconspicuous gate. Follow the main way to find a platform with a stunning view over the east side of Madeira or one of the many smaller paths to discover hidden and quiet gems all over the park.

Got cooked chicken and bolo do caco and sat by the gardens on a Sunday and it was beautiful. Surrounded by other families.

Great golf course. Very challenging. Make sure you are fit or have a buggy. Ask about current deals

Excellent green space. For families and/or friends. Very calm and peaceful place. Very good sightseeing. Many flowers and some few animals. Great to walk or take some time to relax. Recommend it.

Would love to plan on buying some beautiful food at the market then eating it in the picnic area here. Calm and scenic. Pack something warm to wear though!

Quite peaceful, you can walk around almost in total silence. Very few corralled animals which is a pity, and you can see they do not put much effort in maintaining the park. But, for a quiet day out it's perfect.

One of the best parks I've ever seen! Although it's such a shame that you can't visit the houses from inside. It would be lovely place for restaurant or wedding receptions :)

👍👍 This distillery only runs for 3 months of the year so we were able to walk around and look at everything inside. March through May, when the distillery is in operation, you are not allowed inside the distillery. There is a cute shop next door where you can purchase a Poncha, maple syrup, local rum,...
