Nice complex and hall facilities, so convenient with parking by car or close to Hatsudai station by train. The Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall was so nice for bit more casual audience too, but of course with good acoustics. Seems like they have a good line-up of performers. If you go, they also have a nice selection of casual restaurants and an open air atrium with a huge statue “Opera Man” that sings sometimes, and performers play.

Beautiful grounds and gorgeous concert hall with good acoustics. However, for the audience, this is one of the worst hall I have ever attended (twice). The view is terrible pretty much wherever you end up sitting. Bring your opera glasses and prepare to be visually challenged by distance to stage, viewing angle, other audience blocking your view, and more ...

Came here to Opera house for Omakase Tempura at the 53th Floor. Quite a nice view especially in the evening when the lights are turned on around the city. The building itself has a lot of water features and rather nicely done.

Been here to watch 2 concerts. Ghibli Christmas and Joe Hisaishi. The building is beautiful and of course the sound quality inside is great. However please be aware that the balcony seats can be a little awkward in seeing all of the stage. We were unable to see the far right of the stage (because we were on the right balcony) but had a pretty good view of everything else.

Just another clean Japanese building. There are a couple of stores and eateries, a bakery etc. One can find things like stationary, coffee mugs, cosmetics, soaps, scents etc. The bakery has some good options as well.

From outside is hard to see something, but you are able to walk inside and have a look. There is also little gallery what you can go thru for free. Interior is very nice of that building - Modern architecture

Supposed to be the edifice of play, modern art and urban culture... doesn't seem to be quite successful, though, it does look rather an ambiguous commercial and business centre complex.

One the tallest office buildings in Nishi Shinjuku, west of Tokyo. Beautiful building. Did a fitout construction project here 16 yearals ago. Still beautiful.

Impressive building (as are the large majority in Tokyo). The main concert hall is amazing.

Connected directly to the station, there are restaurants, bars and a few shops. Nothing to write home about, just one of those office buildings. Opera house is right next to it that why the place is called Opera City.

No there is no place you can view the views unless dining in, but they mention place to view views in the elevator, hmm

Great quality and great view. This BBQ restaurant is amazing. The charcoal fire bbq looks so good.

Fantastic performance. I kind of wish we had gotten balcony seats over the orchestra in hindsight, but it was still great being close to the stage. Would definitely return.

It's a pretty place, there is a variety of restaurants and cafes, place to sit outside. So even if you don't go to opera, you can enjoy the surroundings
