I really need to update my review. I feel compelled to express my profound dismay regarding the alarming decline in service quality at this hotel. What baffles me the most is the audacity of raising service rates while the local currency is plummeting on the global stage. The safety hazards are nothing short of outrageous. We're talking about former addicts driving the shuttle, shamelessly peddling drugs to guests! As if that weren't enough, some individuals have abused their social status as patrons to bare it all in the sauna, creating an incredibly uncomfortable environment. My personal experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I was almost incinerated while using a treadmill due to a power socket malfunction. To add insult to injury, the management didn't even extend a basic apology or show the slightest hint of concern for my well-being. The gym, which has remained an antiquated and laughable excuse for a fitness center, has seen its subscription fees soar without any upgrades in sight. The rooms remain lackluster while their nightly rates have skyrocketed. The snacks provided are not just uninspired but downright unhealthy, with burgers and pizzas dripping in excessive fat. I can't stress this enough: steer clear of this place! It's all about maintaining a facade of luxury while utterly failing at providing a safe and enjoyable experience. This establishment's performance, or rather lack thereof, has left me absolutely seething. Last but not least... I am compelled to highlight the astonishing greed of this establishment's management, avariciously raising prices without a hint of regard for the well-being of their loyal customers. It's become painfully evident that their primary concern revolves around catering to the elite or influential individuals who are feared, while the rest of us are treated with disdain and indifference. This is not just a matter of subpar service; it's a blatant display of favoritism towards those who hold power or financial clout. The everyday guests, who should be the lifeblood of any reputable hotel, are left to suffer the consequences of this callous approach. In essence, the management's actions paint a stark picture of prioritizing profits over people, and it's abundantly clear that the welfare of ordinary clients is not even on their radar. It's a disheartening and frustrating experience for anyone who values fairness and equity in the service industry. We didn't renew our spa subscription and will find more valuable services in town.

Great if you wish to be in town center. Food is generally good except for some items like the fried fish. The spa is also nice. The gym area is very small though. The one thing I did not like is that it seems that you are constantly being pushed to buy a room upgrade. Generally the staff is nice. Some rooms do need some upgrade.

Great safe and nice spa. Large range of massage options with remarkable products. Great service even if the skin care is too expansive. What a shame the gym is still so tiny.

Le Louvre Hôtel & Spa is beautifully located in the heart of Antananarivo. Very close to the presidency. It’s a great place to meet and have a meal. Cappuccino was great and so was the carrot cake. The service was swift with a smile. Taxis are right outside to take you wherever you wanna go. You could also sit out on the sidewalk with nice bamboo hedges to give you privacy. I had a wonderful time there.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Tana. All staff are serious and friendly and normally very efficient. Food is very good and facilities such as swimming pool and sauna/hamman are kept well maintained and clean, and conference rooms are an interesting asset. Highly recommended.

This is a very good and serious hotel to stay in Tana. The hotel team is very nice, kind, professional and focused. The rooms are very good, with all the necessary things that make our stay comfortable. A gym, pool, sauna and steam bath are available and well maintained. The food, breakfast and the carte is nice and provides a sense of Madagascar culinary culture and is well priced. So it's a good place to stay. It's central enough as well so you can walk around and get a feel of tana, markets around and so on.

Excellent hotel in a central location. All the staff were friendly and willing to assist. The room (junior suite) was spacious and well laid out. Probably, the best bed in Antananarivo. The spa was exceptional with sauna, steam room, heated pool and the gym. Will definitely stay here again.

I live in Antananarivo and had a staycation here. Food was good, staff friendly, spa facilities nice and well-maintained. but... our room was very small and had pretty mediocre/outdated furnishings. This alone would have been forgiveable, but the cherry on top was that our toilet didn't flush. I had to ask the front desk not once, not twice, but *three* times before the issue was resolved (each time I was told it had been fixed). This is absolutely inexcusable for what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. A working toilet is like, the bare minimum. There are way nicer hotels in Tana that are far less expensive- I recommend La Ribaudiere, Grand Hotel Urbaine, or Sakamanga.

The restaurant coffee and cakes were very bland.

No better location to feel the vibe of the highland of Madagascar. the huge traffic jam spoil the beauty of the place.

This is probably the best location for your first visit to Tana: central, safe, near 2 good supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Clean, long swimming pool and nice spa area. Amazingly helpful, nice and friendly personal. On the less great side: The rooms are a bit small. Breakfast served once early morning, instead of being refreshed/replenished frequently, so by 9AM somethings were not looking good anymore. Hopefully they have improved this by now what is standard in any other hotel in this category.

recently stayed at Hotel G Express and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you would expect from a hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. One of the things that stood out for me during my stay was the safe and secure parking on the property. It was a relief to know that my car was safe during my stay. If you're looking for a decent hotel with good rooms and safe parking, I would recommend this hotel.

The setting and location of the hotel is great if you want to visit Tana. Unfortunately this much cannot be said of the hotel: service at the restaurant is pretty sluggish. Best rating goes to the swimming pool and spa. Conference rooms deserves also a 8/10 rating. Rooms however need a good refurbishment. Nonetheless it remains perhaps the best business class hotel in Antananarivo.

Dear Louvre team, I’ve been visiting this hotel since 2015 and I feel that the standard level is equivalent to a cabaret hotel nowadays. The reasons are as follows: a) the service standards of the waiters lacks of hospitality, rather than supporting residents request, they’d favor drop in customers just sitting with a newspaper at a dinning table. May be it is a new culture approach. b) how do you expects residents and business people to stay over on a Friday evening with a loud decibel cabaret that kicks off from 20hrs to 23hrs, this surely brings your standards down. c) the breakfast buffet looks like a fuel station service, compared to before the variety was upto a global taste and nowadays it’s worthless from even choosing. May be, my suggestion would not be creating any effects or changes, but I feel very sorry about the hotel image/standards and it is no more an ear to ear place of stay in Tana. Wishing the entity well !

The guest tend to be noisy and rooms not sound proof so it wakes you up in middle of night. The fire alarm went of and no one seemed to know what to do about it.
