What an amazing little oasis in Brits. Attention to detail in the rooms and garden, it's a pleasure to have stayed here. Highly recommended! This will be the only place I will choose if I'm back in the area again!

Personally really liked the chicken served with the buffet. Made me pick that little guy up and devour him within seconds. Peppermint crisp tart reinkindled my love for life. The road on Tambotieweg has one sneaky speed bump that sent me through the roof of my car with a mind boggling velocity. Overall: still nice doe :)

We had burgers and I can definitely state that this was good. The value was great and the hot sauce tasted awesome. Serves was good.

Every time I visit Thatch Haven we enjoyed it very much. Exellent food, nice and quiet restuarant with a calm atmosphere. Even bar lunches are perfect. Sunday Buffett are the best!! Make sure you visit this amazing lodge.

I have been supporting Thatch Haven since 2005 , great tasting food and best eisbein I have ever had.

Lovely bar staff, Expert Mixologist behind the drinks. The shots and cocktails are superb. Food is good and at an affordable price. Small town quaint vibe.

Our room had roaches, shower didn’t have hot water, bath didn’t have cold water 😂. When we reported this to the lady her response was “We know”. No sorry what? How then do you place people in that, or were we not supposed to bath/shower?.

We made a booking a month ago. Upon arrival we are told to sit outside in the windy weather with elderly people. When we requested for a manager we were told they do not make provision for the number that we requested but yet they were happy to take our deposit without telling us they wouldn't be able to accommodate us. After we fought and requested our deposit, miraculously the space was available for us. Worse the Manager Lizette was not able to talk to us but she was roaming around touching the roast with her bare hands (disgusting) hygiene standards 😡😡. The waitressing ststuff was sent to you please with us and explain how church groups are to sit outside because they make noise. WE WANTED LUNCH AS WE HAVE BOOKED NOT A CHURCH SERVICE. Overall service was horrible, the food was not up to the standard, oxtail was bland and too salty. TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED!
