I was astounded by the sheer racism of the owners or managers for refusing to let us in. The second time I went I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and called ahead to make a booking. I was told there were no bookings. The next day a friend of mine belonging to a different ethnic group called on my behalf to make a booking and was offered a selection of accomodation options. This confirmed my suspicions and I refuse to support any businesses who are under the impression that apartheid is not over.

We drove for an hour through really bad roads with potholes. We arrived around 10am only to be told that it’s full. The guys at the gate were unhelpful and had no empathy for us. I pleaded with them to allow us in. They suggested we try out other “nearby” resorts. I noticed that the cars that where parked off with us were mainly Black, Coloured or Indian. I noticed that when a car with a White family tried enter (while in presence of these parked off cars) they seemed to be telling them to wait on the side or to quickly drive back (and come back when the “others” eventually leave.) This place seems to be racist towards non-whites but I can’t say for sure. There are other google comments/reviews that seem to confirm this. Wont try to visit again.

This is to me the best resort ever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this resort to anyone. Just some advise do not take the van Deventer road. This road is in a very poor condition an there is about 10 speed humps (huge ones). Keep on with the R511 until you get the Klein Paradys sign and follow the road until you arrive at Klein Paradys.

If you want to have a fun packed holiday for the whole family to enjoy or just a day filled with fun. Definitely check this place out, I have always enjoyed going there

Facility was very clean and well looked after. staff was well trained and friendly. Would definitely recommend the venue. Enjoyed the rowing 🚣‍♀️ in the pond/dam. There is also enough activities to keep the whole family busy from young to old. Was also nice that the benches already had cover for the sun, so was not necessary to take put own gazebo 😀

This the most spectacular resort. Beautifully maintained. Great fishing and the Garden of Eden ("Tuin van Eden") with game grazing is out of this world!!! The best family weekend venue. I will return many times in future, thank you!

This palce is somehow a bit of a gem. Nesstled not to far from Jhb and Pta, the whole family can have a great day out having fun and relaxing. There is plenty to do for the kids, and although day visitor prices are a bit high for a family of 5, there is enough to keep everyone happy. Enough braai facilities and swimming space for everyone. It might be busy at times also so plan accordingly. But overall this is a great place to take the family for a day of braai, swim and relax. Also clean and neat

Fantastic camping spot close to Brits and close to the city. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Very family friendly with lots to do and lots of trees for shade and beautiful grass cover all over the premises. Great for riding bicycles, quite a few slides for yound and old. Cold and hot water pools. Trampolines, tennis courts, beautiful gardens, dams for canoeing and fishing and a lot more. The best camping spot in that area. Very neat and tidy and prestinely maintained. Always a favourite spot.

I will defenetly recommend this caravan site. It is clean, safe, wonderful gardens, lakes, vegetation. There are lots of entertainment for children. Great service and friendly environment 👏 👌 👍

Roads leading to the resort are in a pot holes condition and calls for awareness. We joined our children, who have been camping,as day visitors. This is a large resort, the entire area was grassed and clean. The private ablutions and kitchen area were clean. The pool area was quite popular. There are kayaks, free usage, for those who want to play in the river. Persons use these facilities at their own risk. I noted that persons of all ages did not utilise safety jackets. The staff were blatantly ignored. There are some beautiful walkways through the Eden gardens, benches are placed in these areas. Photographers have many opportunities to capture BirdLife, smaller squirrels and nature. Don't forget your fishing gear, some nice specimens to be had. A place that definetly calls one for a revisit.

Klein Paradys is always a treat. We went there recently with a large group of people and every single one loved the experience. We camped in a tent so I cannot comment on the rooms they have available, however the people who had rooms enjoyed their stay as well. The terrain is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and eager to help and there is so many things to do for kids and adults. This include but is not limited to: Fishing, padding in a canoe, swimming pools, water slides, large chess, eating ice creams and much more. I would recommend it highly

Very nice place. We visited it for the day, the kids thinks it's heaven on earth. Clean, neat and lots to do. We came all the way from the Northen-Cape. See you again April month.

We booked 4 stands for caravans, really bad stands. Tiny, my car was parked far away. Id say the equivalent of 2 normal stands anywhere else. The shop is nothing to even mention. This caravan park is focussed on day visitors, which over runs everything. For what we paid here we could have stayed 2 weeks at Dinokeng Game Reserve. Unfortunately this will be the first and last visit for our 4 caravans.

It was great for a day visit (entrance fee), not too far outside Gauteng. Amazing slides with warm and cold pool options

Although the road there is really bad, once you are there, this is an amazing place. The park, from A to Z is kept in meticulous condition. The workers are friendly, and help older people to put up their tents, they clean the braais every morning etc. Really worth visiting.

Fun place for the family, especially if you have young children. Lots of water slides and fun activities on the dams, like canoeing and fishing. The pools look cool but are way to small for the number of people. Especially the warm water pool which is literally standing room only. Camping sites are very neat and well equipped, but very compact with too many sites squeezed in. Dragging a caravan over the pothole invested road leading to the resort is a challenge, but for avid caravan fans is worth it. Sadly the road is no-go for motorbikes. Just a warning the lawns are covered in thorns from the vast number of thorntrees so step very carefully.

This place is really amazing. The facilities are clean and the pools and slides are well maintained. I highly recommend this place for camps or family getaways.

The camp ground has beautiful green grass everywhere, and nice shady sites. Plenty of swimming and relaxing available, and beautiful walks available through the gardens.

Phenomenal and very clean place, we had lots of fun. And very affordable too. It's indeed a paradise

We as family and friends went there for a week and its so relaxing, also lots to do.. unfortunately the hot swimming pool is not so warm and also the rules to not walk around after 10 is not allowed i dit not like very much, was feeling a bit restricted..

I have been visiting Klein Paradys since January 2008. 14 years on, my wife and I still call it our happy place. Absolutely magnificent

I've been coming here for a few years now, haven't ever had issues, they have kayaks so you and your family can enjoy the dam as well as nice fishing spots

Beautiful place. I love the gardens and the thick, green lawns. The bathrooms are first class. One of the best maintained resorts i have seen

Very nice park like lawns, big beautiful trees. Loved our camping weekend. Clean and neat ablutions. Only complaint we raise is that this park states no music in its rules but does not enforce this policy.

Great fun for the whole family. Clean, well set up, chairs and shading with braai facilities and wonderful water activities. Staff are professional and helpful. We will be back for a weekend not just a day visit.

We stayed at the campsites with individual toilet facilities and it was superb. Unfortunately the shop hours are really minimal for a camping site. Although great fun was had in the pools and the slides, they are overseen by teenagers who are more interested in technology and friends vs safety. Water safety is almost non existent and I surprised there are not more accidents. Absolutely no COVID practices seen over two days

Just went for day but had so much fun. Lots to do, very well maintained and lots of shade for those hot summer days.

Amazing campsite along the rivers.Beautifully landscaped gardens & well maintained. Campsites are a little small compared to other camping areas .There is enough activities for the family. Very relaxing.They have an onsite shop .

Opening times for day visitors are 8am to 6pm however day visitors coming in for fishing spots can get there from 6 am even though it is not advertised on website. Get there early to secure a good fishing spot. Family fun place. Plenty of pools and hot pool too, clean toilets, plenty of parking, enough shady spots and braai facilities. Exceptional spot to host birthday parties. A good place for the entire family. If you are there just to fish, note that is noisy with kids and families. Overall wonderful experience.

One of my favorite campsites with great facilities. There is a lot of things to keep you busy like one huge cold swimming pool and two heated pools with a slide. There is also five massive slides which are a lot of fun. There is also a tennis court and put put. Also there are three major dams where fishing is allowed and on one of the dams there is free canoeing which is one of my favorite things to do. I would definitely recommend Klein Paradys for new campers and experienced campers looking to enjoy an amazing weekend, because you won't be disappointed.
