I found this place on Hyperli and read the reviews before purchasing the voucher. They were dreadful, but I reminded myself that we are all different, and what others experienced may not be what I felt. Anywho! The employees provided me with excellent service, ooh!! The massage was extraordinary. Keep up the wonderful work, Nompumelelo&Gugu! Finally, I'd like to suggest that the proprietor purchase a large, proper heater. Excellent service and an excellent experience!

SPA REVIEW: My sister and I booked a spa package to celebrate my mom’s birthday and we thought that, seeing as it’s on the same property as Villa Paradiso, that it would be fantastic, as Villa Paradiso is fantastic! But, I would definitely not recommend the spa. There was no hostess to greet us as we arrived, and when we eventually got helped there was no hospitality, & when it came to actually speaking to the receptionist she had no clue that we had arranged to have our lunch before our treatments, which was then an issue. We then went to the restaurant, where we waited about 15min for someone to just come take our orders. The wait for the food is very long, and when it arrives it’s ice cold anyway and wrapped in cling film (not very spa-like in my opinion). We found out that there is no microwave/oven to warm up food. The massages were very good, however, the rooms aren’t quiet - you can hear everyone outside (and they don’t keep quiet around the treatment rooms) and you can also hear people in the rooms next to you. The doors in the spa are very squeaky as well, which distracts you from your treatment as it’s awfully annoying, with therapists walking in and out ever so often. I honestly think that the spa should be seriously upgraded, or placed under new management, or both, for that matter, because it places a bad image on Villa Paradiso. I won’t be coming back to the spa. Very disappointed in the overall experience. If you want a real spa experience, rather go elsewhere.

Manager, Martin and Jack Am so disappointed at those two! I have never experienced such poor service in my life. Those two are full of lies and now they are even ignoring my communication! Sis!! Villa Paradiso... I was there 3 months ago, it happened that I forgot my shoes. I called to alert let them that I had forgotten my shoes there, they confirmed that they had found the shoes there for I should come pick up my shoes. Paid a courier company to go pick up my shoes as am from Vaal. Courier company got there for a pick up but there are no shoes!! Some one is off there for they can't locate them courier should come back again when there guy is at work. "Couriers are non refunding" The day came, courierwent again still shoes can't be found! A week later after this back n forth am told there will be a meeting and shoes will be paid/bought month end as they have to collect from the staff. Month came, they now have a new story about the meeting with the owner to approve the refund but he is too busy to have a meet. (It's been like that for a two months now) Last week Monday I was told that the owner is available and IL get an update after meeting which is around 1600h. I called just before 1700h to check what was the update. Got a promise that latest next week Thursday you will get payment/your shoes... from yesterday I have been going back n forth with them and non of them are giving me a solution!!! Martin now tells me that I should wait two more months!!! What's that?? So it takes them 5 moths to sort the shoes issue? What more with a more serious case????

Surrounding so serene and place has potential. Rooms small yet modern and cool, not really for family. Just needs better service on catering and entertainment side. Needs better service personnel.

Beautiful hotel and garden. The rooms are comfortable and well set up. Towels and linen were clean and fresh. Sufficient courtesy toiletries and tea/coffee bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed my stay. Wiĺl definitely recommend them.

I would have liked a hairdryer in the room as for our girls that comes with bikers have limited packing space, but every thing else was clean and neat

The view from the room was incredible however the room was not what we expected, neither the room or the hotel looked like the photos seen but it was absolutely stunning. The staff and food of the hotel was outstanding, would definitely return.

Possible the second worst place I have ever stayed at. The linen is clean thankfully. But the water coming out of the taps smells like sewage. They don’t have any working wifi. And the tv has 1 channel on it. Man this place is bad. Just avoid it.

Prices are affordable for food at the restaurant. The views are breathtaking. We went for a spa at pamensky and it was also such a beautiful experience. But overall trip to harries was beautiful

‪Even the one star is a lot. The spa is dirty 😭 the toilet tissue was on the floor, there was no one at reception, the staff has no customer etiquette, the massage itself was nothing to write home about. They need to decide whether they (Pamensky) want to do this or not. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!‬

The place is absolutely gorgeous! A bit dry during winter and struggled with wifi (which is an issue when you have meetings to attend!), But other than it's genuinely stunning and the staff are very friendly.

A beautiful place for small getaway, intimate party or even church conference. Beautiful and clean rooms. Great food with friendly and professional staff. A 10 over 10 for me

Wow what a great place to find everything at one place ,booked accommodation and spa at the same venue no need to drive out for spa .we really enjoyed our spa treatments at pamensky spa . You should see their outdoor spa setup it is really breathtaking. I highly recommend

Accommodation was ample. Nothing fancy. The food can definitely do with an upgrade and will add another star at least. The main building and grounds are lovely and just needs better food to lift the experience

This was by far the worst spa experience I have ever add. More disappointing as it was a surprise for my partner. Firstly, it was getting to the venue and not being sure where to go. The reception area was locked and no one was there to welcome us. After about 8 calls, I think you can gather how upsetting and frustrating it was to then not even be able to get ahold of the person I had been in contact with. We eventually found our way and the entrance was nothing short of a chaos! The massage ladies were all over the place. Everyone of them just looked at us as if we were crazy. It was the most disorganised reception I have EVER experienced. A spa is supposed to be serene and calming, we definitely did not get that at your facility. We were asked to store our belongings in the “lockers” but the lockers have no locker keys??? The area where the treatments are done are shared too closely with other people. It was noisy and not comfortable. We had a foot treatment with no foot wash/soak beforehand. How do you just apply oil on feet without cleansing??? The ladies were friendly and that is the only positive thing. The gowns did not feel and smell fresh. The place itself just did not look clean and this put me off of even having lunch. I was concerned about where this food was being made. So overall, this was the first and last time at your facility and I would not recommend it to anyone.

It is more that sufficient for a over night stay. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Small and clean.

Beautiful grounds, nice breakfast, and very close to the cableway. The house keeping staff could do better.

It's midnight now we are up cannot sleep. Our bodies are itching non stop , we asked the manager to change our room again after seeing spiders and dirty linens earlier. Now it's worse we can't sleep, we tried using doom it won't work. Our breakfast was half, just eggs and toast, we were told sausages and other components are finished. I don't even wanna talk about dirty floors.

The service is not what I expected. The type of service that will make you get up from your chair to the kitchen en make yourself food or get a drink....

I went for the spa massage treatment. I’ve been to quite a few spas and this was by far the worst. We didn’t start immediately which meant that we probably did not have the full hours of the treatment. We did a half day spa package. We were given dirty looking old towels and very dirty used gowns. I even found someone’s used toilet paper in the pockets. Where you put your head on the bed was also not clean. The walls between the rooms are thin. We could hear other people talking in the other rooms. I understand that there’s no background calming music so that we can “listen” to nature. But it defeats the purpose when you hear people, and staff walk and talking and also the sound of a big fan that was used for a balloon picnic outside. The food was horrible. Very basic and cold lunch. They gave us juice in between the sessions. Diluted juice not even 100% juice. This was served in a tiny glasses. Probably 100ml. We were also given muffins. The massage itself was not bad. Nothing life changing and made me feel refreshed. The massage itself was quite average. Overall experience of the massage was not great. I would not recommend.

The place is very busy not so neat, during massage u can even hear people outside Bubble tent was placed in a non shade place causing it to be too hot inside So disappointed on the service

Rooms are on the smaller side especially on sharing basis, the water had a funny smell to it when showering, and the restaurant closes a bit too early. People at reception took a bit of time to come out of their back office to attend to us on more than one occasion. Apart from that, a lovely place to stay, beautiful scenery. The decor of the place is beautiful.

We are beach lover and we loved this hotel, location is just 2 minutes away from the beach. There is no need to fall in line to check-in, they will just provide you the access code before your arrival, as easy as that. They also provide beach chairs and towels for free. We will be back.

A very nice getaway for an affordable relaxing weekend break. Clean compact rooms. Was lucky to get a room with a balcony. A decent menu and breakfast is available.

Room was good with nice view liked it. Disappointed with the breakfast as they didn't cater for non-pork eaters whereas I mentioned when I booked that we don't eat pork. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic now that I would recommend

Do not book with them, they overcharge for what you receive, unless you want sleepless nights due to chaos and noisy guests. We went on a massive special so the prices were reasonable when we went (about R900 pn) but not for what you get. The rooms are not bad the beds are comfy & the rooms are clean (the housekeeping staff come every morning for turndown service, they restock the little bottles of water & the towels). The rooms are small and unfortunately in ours, we had no hot water the first day but they did fix this. However, we were kept up between 1-2am from noisy guests, even after reporting it to management. They have a strict "no loud music" policy and as part of their regulations you are not allowed to be noisy in order to remain respectful to other guests. We wanted to come and relax, we did not mind the music but at 23h30, you need to turn it down. We were also chased from the pool because there was a conference going on, that we were not notified about. Some consideration from management and guests would make this place the "3 star establishment" it apparently is. " Villa parashithole" has really bad wifi too, you might as well just use your own data.

The Spa service was horrible, I don't think they understand the golden rule of Spa which is Hygiene. The bathroom toilet doors were so dirty, the therapists were not presentable, the carpets were dirty, the kitchen was a mess, I don't think they changed the bed sheets/towel. I couldn't finish my treatment cause I was blocked/ had sinuses due to the dirtiness of the Spa. If i was the regulator Spa facilities i was going to close it immediately.
