The place is beautiful and loved it's location but the staff and management could do better but bigups to Brave he made my stay to be excellent.

Wrong gate key, could not move vehicle from premisses. Rooms are good though

Very dirty place , looks very dogy and scary.The place is just run down.Noisy every visitor is playing their own radio .The gate doesnt work with a remote you must get off your car and push it open.The rooms look haunted.The pools were dirty.

Very nice place with alot of different size rooms and entertainment hall, a lot of pools on the property. Rooms has that classic modern 80ies style with thatch roof / rondavels. Def recommend.

You can tell it used to be nice, but it's old now. If you're in a group, it's great because there's a lot of space, and the lady is very helpful and kind

I think they just need to increase the cleanliness.The toilets had black stuff underneath the toilet seat.

It was a small event with friends and so was convenient for that. The rooms looked good and the outdoors was beautiful.

The place is okay.... Not exactly what you see in the photos, it needs maintenance inside the room there's lizards creeping and spider web..... worst thing!!!! the cleaner stole some of our items, we went out came back in the afternoon some of our things are missing and the staff don't know how to treat guests..... So not coming back here.

Great space to stay. Good location. Nothing notable about service. Just bring your own soap, bubble bath, and bath towels.

This place is bad news, poor service. No hot water, no emergency lights during load shading. I left my cologne in the room during my massage when coming back it was gone and the only person who entered in that room was a cleaner. I reported it to the guy by the name Junior. That place look like an old age and was changed to guest house. The place is bad news.

Stayed at Manor house. There was a hot water problem, only 2 members of the family enjoyed hot water. We told the staff, they didn't do anything about it. However, the location is great. Overall it's a good place if you are cash strapped.

A warm welcome from Brave. Me and my partner went to Meerhof Lodge for their Romantic special. It was quite an experience. Loved the massage from Prisca and Laveu. Thank you soo much guys. We are definitely recommending the Swedish massage...

The staff gets irritated and ignored us. Our rooms were not serviced for all four days of our stay. Slow service at breakfast

Only disappointment was the pool by Rose Cottage, it was diiiiiirty. Other than that.... We definitely enjoyed our weekend.

The place is dirty starting with the floor, the sheets and towels are stained, the shower drain has an awful odour, there's spider webs on the ceiling and the blinds have dust and trapped flies,the furniture is old and some broken and in other rooms the carpets are dirty and stained and smell very bad

We stayed here for 6 nights. We had NO complaints. The owner, Ben gave us so much interesting facts of the area and tips of sites to visit. The Host, BRAVE was doing a FANTASTIC job in pleasing all our needs and requests. What a great, friendly and helpful guy!! The rest of the staff was just as good and friendly, from the kitchen staff to the room service girls. We made use of their massage facilities twice during our stay which was great and affordable. Our room and bathroom was spacious and fulfill in all our needs. Overall we had a great stay. Thankyou guys. The Schiffs.

Staff friendly, room clean and tidy, but very hot with air conditioner ineffective as it is placed incorrectly to blow across the door, we had to buy a fan to be able to sleep in that extreme heat. Safe could not lock, had to make another plan for safekeeping of firearm, which we could not leave at home. Breakfast only starts at 09h00, which is very late. Guests staying far want an early start. We were disapointed as it cost quite a bit to stay over as we had to attend a funeral

A/C is not functional. Two bedside lamps were not working on arrival. Tap on the basin in the bathroom is lose and mould is growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Toilet seat needs to be replaced as it is very old and dirty. Management and staff are non-existent in terms of service delivery. Such a shame for a so-called four-star guesthouse - a beautiful place with so much potential.

This place was piss poor. Our room was dirty and we could not stay here at all. Bedding dirty bath dirty chandeliers had spider webs that we could see has been their for some time. We booked the private room and it was not private. We were greeted by people staying in a Wendy house behind us and kids and people were screaming and crying. Not as advertised at all. I asked for a refund and was told that it would be no problem. It's now more than two weeks and many phone calls and what's apps and no refund. I am seriously at my wits end.

The place was great and tranquil best if you want peace of mind, yet not really clean because there were spiders in the bathroom

Attended a wedding in Haartebespoort Dam this weekend.Had a wonderful experience at Meerhof Lodge.Wonderful friendly service from Brave.The room was very comfortable and the view of the Dam was magnificant.Loved the balcony area and had a very tasty breakfast.Highly recommended.

Location was great and easy to find. Once inside, state of disrepair and cleanliness was sub-par. Our chalet's kitchen was dirty and needed to be cleaned before we could settle in. Missing remote controls for Dstv and some rooms had no TV channels at all. Unacceptable state for a tourism 4-star rating!
