Great place However as we come out of winter, there are more visitors. To avoid the crowd, I'd suggest visiting early mornings or during thr weekdays

Great tourist attraction. Very well maintained and a definite must see. I would suggest getting there early, we arrived around 10am and no queue, but around lunch time at least 200 people in the queue. R1000 for a family of 4 is quite pricey, but overall worth it

There is a Feb/March 2022 special for 2 adults and 2 kids for R750. At an additional fee, you can add promos to you ticket (i.e. 20% off their restaurant pizza). Grounds are well maintained and clean. Ample security, access controlled parking lot etc.Paid R490 for 2 breakfast, 2 pieces of cake and 4 softdrinks at the restaurant. Beautiful view, kids really enjoyed the experience. Still think its pricey for locals hence the 3 stars, however, it must cost a bundle to maintain the facilities..

Beautiful place with amazing views. I was lucky, I went during the week on a Wednesday. It was raining, I had coffee while looking at the rain. What a beautiful experience 👌❤️🙏😭🌧️

Weather was lovely and kids enjoyed the playground. Coffee at the top was lovely . They gave me a free ticket even though my birthday was the next day

Really nice. Wonderful views. Very clean and neat, restrooms are also very clean and well maintained. Great service and chilled vibe when you get to the top with a lovely grassy area with some beanbags to lounge around. Walking trails as well, no trash in sight, very clean. Plenty of tables and seating areas. Get there early to avoid queues but more importantly to enjoy more time at top.

The view is breathtaking.I needed my inhaler. The cable car is comfy and the ride up to the top is enjoyable.it’s a must go to place.u get to see Hartbeespoort nicely

Not much to do when you get up there but it is very clean and well preserved. The food is good and the views are stunning.

This is an amazing experience whether you're solo, a large group, partners or a family. The cablecar itself goes nice and slow so that you can see the scenery and you go to the top. Then you get to the top and there are restaurants and other activities to do. The scenery is absolutely STUNNING. I recommend that you go in the morning as it can get full in the afternoon.

Well-run establishment! The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Recommend buying tickets in advance (the queues on weekends are quite long). There is not all that much to do on top of the mountain - a short (5minute) walk, 4/5 restaurants and the bungee - but it's still a great experience! Lots of history that you can read up on and see scattered around the walking trail and surrounds. There are plenty of toilets in various places.

Hartbeespoort Cable Way was a fun experience to do once off. We paid R280 per person. The cable car was in great condition and felt safe. Once we got to the top of the mountain, there were a few viewing points and places to eat and drink. The views were great.

Beautiful, l wouldn't have thought l would do something like that , it was a nice adventure l would recommend anyone to do it . And on the other side there are restaurants bars etc but lovely place to be. I even saw people who were hiking which l will definitely come for next time. History about the area is there also

This place is really amazing. From the experience of the cable car to the wonderful views from up top, the view of Hartes. The dam. The mountains. Its beautiful. I love tje food, the wings and ribs platter is to die for. It is a family and kids friendly place (plus kids free... Well small ones 😉) the set up is so chilled and the music.. My word. We had a really great time. For those that love social media content, hehehe, this is the place as well. Thanks for an amazing time.

What an amazing experience in the wilderness. The cable rides , restaurants and to top it all the Spar it's exceptionally well managed 👌🏻. Great place for special moments.

It was the highlight of our day. Really amazing cable ride! Very beautiful view from the top and many restaurants and ice cream places. Try to go either early or later in the day as the queues become quite long. Make sure to carry a hat

A beautiful place to spend some time. Views are superb. While coming down if there's any cable car issue, you might get a free chopper ride down. :-)

My visit exceeded my expectations. It would be a big improvement if the wait in line to purchase tickets for the cable way, and then again the wait for food to be prepared once at the top, was shortened. Well worth a visit to the cable way if you have not done so.

Words cannot explain how beautiful this place is. I went on a really busy day so I waited in line for a while before going up(the people at ticket sales communicated that it would be a long wait which is something I appreciated). You feel like you're on top of the world. The ride on the cable car is also very smooth so it isn't scary at all. I'll definitely be going back. There's a restaurant on top of the mountain as well and the food is very reasonably priced. I had a burger and was really good.

Breathtaking. Serene. The journey to the top of the mountain is an experience that remains imprinted in my mind forever. So lush. So green. There is also a spa, restaurant and ice cream stall as well at the top of the mountain. The food is superb. It feels like I stayed at a resort once we'd reached the top. I'll be back for sure. Staff was friendly but a bit reckless expecting my husband and I to get into moving cable car at the top station as well being back at the main station. One caretaker at arrival did stop the cable car when we requested him to. Big high five to that gentleman

The upgraded facility is awesome and very affordable! Nice for a family outing over the weekend and you can enjoy an ice cold drink, pizza and ice cream once you reaced the top (or below). Kids will love it!
