I
visited
Madill
to
attend
a
funeral
this
afternoon
and
joined
a
friend
at
El
Tequila
for
a
late
lunch
afterward..
This
was
my
first
time
visiting,
and
as
far
as
I'm
concerned,
they
knocked
things
out
of
the
park..
I
sampled
the
Fajitas
Jalisco,
which
included
ample
portions
of
grilled
steak,
chicken,
shrimp,
onions,
and
tomatoes..
I
omitted
the
bell
peppers..
The
fajita
plate
was
served
piping
hot
and
had
great
flavor..
The
toppings
on
the
setup
plate
(lettuce,
tomatoes,
guacamole,
sour
cream)
were
cool
and
crisp,
and
the
rice
and
beans
were
above
average
for
a
small-town
Mexican
fare
establishment..
Their
chips
and
salsa
were
unexpectedly
deelish..
The
chips
were
thin,
crispy,
and
fresh,
and
the
salsa
was
nicely
blended,
and
with
just
a
smidgen
of
heat..
I
washed
everything
down
with
a
pair
of
1800
Reposado-based
margaritas
on
the
rocks,
and
the
service
was
excellent,
too!!
I
would
definitely
return
to
El
Tequila
on
a
future
visit
to
the
Madill
area..
