Ended up booking at this hotel as a last minute whim, and it was a fantastic choice! The staff at check in and out were nice and friendly. The rooms are nicely renovated, clean, and spacious! Also it was super quiet and I never heard any hallway noise which is a huge plus. The breakfast was good and the staff were also super friendly and helpful in that area as well. Overall this was a great stay and I would recommend staying here!

This is my favorite hotel. The beds are really comfortable (including the pillows!), service is good, breakfast is DELICIOUS, and the pool is super fun! My kids always look forward to coming here, too. Reasonably priced with awesome amenities.

I've stayed here many times for the waterpark to entertain my kids. Entry, bar and restaurant are nice. The rooms were clean and mostly updated. The doors, railings, wood trim and everything involved with the waterpark need a complete update and overhaul. The hot tub was green in color, you left with an aweful odor after, and to top it of there were food chunks(hopefully) as well as clumps of hair floating all over it.

Brought the grandkids for a night together with a great pool area. The kids had a lot of fun. The pool area was very full. Cleanliness of this area was questionable. Pool closed at 9pm but the lifeguards partied and were very LOUD for an additional 45minutes. At 10:15pm I had to ask a group of boys to take their ball playing from right outside our door, somewhere else. The ball playing came back at midnight. I didn’t say anything then but had to ask the boys to leave again at 2:15am. Rooms were very clean but small. The shower was extremely small for my 6’4” husband and not safe for the elderly. If I’d been able to get any sleep I would comment on the beds. The grands had fun so the night together was worth it, but we won’t go back.

The staff was fantastic, even on one of their busiest night. Clean room, fantastic breakfast and the hotel bar was busy but not overcrowded. Bar was stocked with many choices and some high end. Had no children with me and a room that looked over the pool. Room was reasonably quiet and large. I was very pleasantly surprised.

We stayed here because our toddlers LOVE the pool… which needs some updates but they still have fun. Room was nice and spacious but outdated and could have been cleaner - there were some hairs that didn’t belong to us in the shower. Breakfast was a good value.

Loved the location. Not on a busy street. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Beds and pillows were awesome. Where can I get those pillows. Water park was a good starting to introduce our granddaughter to the slides. Hot tub was big and jets were great on my back. Crowd was big after 3:00pm. Breakfast was awesome too. Staff was very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend.

Front desk employees were very inviting, but 3rd shift gentleman was a little intrusive. I understand he is just protecting guests, but had no idea why if I used my keycard to enter the hotel, why he would have to follow me to the elevator is all. Breakfast was perfect. Wish the slide would have been open Sunday when we checked in so the kids would have had more time than just in the a.m. before check out. Of course we would stay here again, and thank you for an overall nice trip.

Picked this location specifically for the pool. It was a bit pricey for a Holiday Inn. We swam for a few hours at night. In the morning my daughter planned to swim for an hour before meeting our friends for brunch. We got to the pool at 9 am when it was supposed to open. The lifeguard didn't show up until 9:45! There were a lot of unhappy families with young children waiting in the lobby Ended up cancelling our brunch with the friends we came to Madison to see so that my daughter could swim. Many people checking out that morning could not wait around. The woman at the desk said her hands were tied bc she couldn't open the pool without the lifeguard. She ended up giving several of us late checkouts. We ended up having a nice time but the price was too high for a mediocre water park

We stayed here this past weekend and had a pretty good experience. The room was clean, the beds were SO comfortable, we even looked up how to buy the pillows. There were a lot of children in the hotel and the outside noise was very minimal. The blackout curtains were perfect too. The front desk only had one woman working at check in and it was pretty busy but she was doing a great job with each guest and did not appeared overworked or anything and was super pleasant. The common area could’ve been cleaned a little better but overall was presentable. The elevators were kind of sketchy. I didn’t feel comfortable on them at all. The slides for the pools were cool but a little old. The pool area overall felt dirty and dingy. The floors were also exceptionally slippery in there. I booked this hotel specifically for the kids pool area so I was rather disappointed that this really didn’t meet any of my expectations. The breakfast the next morning was exceptionally good. Overall, I’m happy with our stay, just could’ve been happier.

Rooms are very nice, clean, and relaxing. The gym, pool, and laundry were a lovely addition to my stay. The pool area is definitely kid friendly as well as having lifeguards on duty. $5 for continental breakfast was also very worth it.

The staff is incredibly nice. I didn’t get her name, but the girl who checked me in was very sweet and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Madison. When we went in to the pool, it was closing in 30 minutes. No one has been using the waterside so it had been turned off. The lifeguard working turned it back on so my nephew could use it. Even though she was closing in 30 minutes she never made us feel rushed and we enjoyed our time in the water park. This was the evening of Tuesday March 2. Thank you!

Awesome hotel! I always come here. The pool is great for kids, and rooms are clean and comfy beds :) The ONLY complaint I have is that one night a while ago, there was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the vents, so we had to switch rooms but other than that, please come here for your next stay!

pleasantly surprised by the amenities and the quality of my stay. They actually have a legit indoor waterpark and hot tub which I always appreciate. As a diamond member, the comp drinks and breakfast buffet was a great gesture. the bed was nice and i enjoyed my stay

Staff was helpful. Bartender stayed open later on a Thursday night so we could get a few drinks. Breakfast buffet is worth the $5, service was good (not great). We come for the indoor waterpark. Kids love the slide and basketball hoop. The little kids love the zero entry pool with hoses and boat to climb on. Wish the bar in the pool was open more. I've stayed here 3 times, never been open. Although you can order "room service" to the pool area but kind of expensive

Beautifully remodeled modern style hotel. Great service from the staff. The room we had was without any windows though. Instead it had a door to the inside pool area. While some might find that a preferred convenience, If we did it again, all 5 of us would prefer a window room instead next time. Other than that the stay was good. The pool here is geared towards small kids only.

I want so badly to give a 5 star rating for the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and the hotel was very clean. But they wristband policy NEEDS to be enforced. When I’m paying close to $200 for a room and there was a group of close to 27 without wristbands it really makes me wonder why I paid to stay there. The manager could have easily enforced this. The group was beyond rowdy, swearing and leaving towels INSIDE the hot tub. Because of this experience, we probably won’t be back for a while. Take care of the guests who paid, not the ones who are staying 15 to a room and sneaking people into the water park. Absolutely unacceptable. The poor lifeguards had to deal with it ALL

Mostly positive things to say. The rooms were very clean and modern! The beds however are not queen beds they are full so plan for that. So although the beds actually are comfortable we got very little sleep because of the size of the beds. Waterpark was a great set up for kids 10 and under! However there is no place for adults to swim its all for the kids and the hot tub is so HOT it burns your skin getting in. We also had huge issues with all of us reacting to the chlorine. To the point my kids were crying because their skin was on fire! So their chemicals must not be at the correct levels. All in all not bad for the we paid. It wasn't terrible but I probably wouldn't go again.

There were some positive things about our stay, but I feel like the bad outweighed the good. Starting with the good; the rooms were very clean and the pool area is great, with wonderful lifeguards. Now the bad. When we booked the room we booked a 1st floor poolside room, when we checked in our room was on the second floor. Checkout is at 11am, which is fine, but the pool doesn't open until 9am, and when we were here they didn't open it until 10 minutes after 9. They also didn't open the water slide in the morning. There isn't a free continental breakfast, you have to pay $5 per adult and $3 per child. Having to pay for breakfast we assumed everything was included, but only milk, water or coffee was included for drinks, no fruit juice. We also thought we would get refills on our drinks, especially since we had to pay, but no one came around for refills. Overall it seemed like this hotel likes to nickle-and-dime their guests while having subpar service and limited pool time.
