Best burger in Madisonville...and maybe Texas!!! The Jalapeño Ranch Burger is where it's at! The fries are also hand cut and delicious! Skip the bbq and get the burger!

Great food here! Skip the BBQ at Buccees in Madisonville and go across the street! You're gonna love it! So big I got to save some for later! P.S. the jalapeños are hot!

I wasn't expecting much, I was in a BBQ place in a strip center across from a Buc-ees. Boy was I wrong. The BBQ was tender and so tasty. I had the two meat platter - ribs and jalapeno cheese sausage. The ribs had a smokey flavor and were so tender the meat came easily off the bone. The sausage was perfectly spiced you got a taste of the jalapeno but it didn't overwhelm the meat I also recommend the cowboy potatoes. The okra was freshly cooked and delicious. It would be worth the 2 hour drive to get some more.

We were just passing through and took a chance on Mallett Brothers BBQ. I'm so glad we did!! It was delicious, fresh, hot, and well-presented. Our family of four each enjoyed something different and equally good! The peach cobbler was AMAZING!!

Pinto beans were good, not ranch style. Slaw was too wet but pretty decent. Sausage was fine. Ribs were good with sauce. Brisket was disappointing. It shouldn't need sauce or salt and I added both.

Nice place to stop for bbq. Service is very friendly! I got a 2 meat plate with ribs, sliced beef, corn casserole, and green bean casserole. It was all pretty good. I really liked how tender the sliced beef was! My bf got a stuffed crab that I got to taste, and it was fantastic! Definitely come here for a quick good meal.

The best Chicken Fried Steak ever! The shrimp and burgers are excellent too! Great cobbler. I haven't tried their Bar B Q yet, I hear it's great too!

Service was slow, they were out of a couple sides (of course what I wanted), but otherwise the food was very tasty. Their custom mashed potatoes are yummy, and the brisket was tender, the jalapeño sausage was awesome. I'd recommend for quick, counter service BBQ.

THE BEST TURKEY SANDWICH!! Wow. HUGE sandwich. So juicy and delicious! BBQ sauce is amazing too! Highly recommended! I just happened to see this little restaurant when leaving Buccees and stopped in and so glad I did. The girls who work her are the sweetest too! Definitely coming back every time I’m in the area! 😋

I thought I was pretty hungry but apparently they thought I was starving. Ordered a 1 meat rib plate for 13 incl tax and got 3 ginormous ribs and two sides. I felt like Fred Flintstone eating a brontosaurus rib. They were incredibly tender, huge and good. Couldn’t even finish my sides. Sauce was a heavier than I like vinegar base but not too much not to enjoy. Well done. Pretty busy pick up place for locals so I’m guessing others like it too.

Bucees is right across the street. I was looking up places to eat with more than 3.5 stars and came across this place. I pulled up and only 4 cars in parking lot and literally 1,000 across the street at Bucees. We went in they have sides and bbq ready or they can cook you something. My son got a burger and it was EXTREMELY GOOD and I got a steak and it was better than Texas Roadhouse. A little expensive but you get what you pay for ✌🏻❤️🤗 YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT SOOO YUMMY

I wasn't disappointed in this place but I wasn't overly satisfied either. I ordered the brisket plate with pinto beans and potato salad. Everything was cooked correctly the meat was tender the potato salad was tasty the beans could have been a little more flavorful. It would be nice if they had a choice of barbecue sauces. It's worth a stop if you're driving through and want barbecue but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Found this little gem today! Ribs and Chicken were so full of flavor and juicy! (No sauce needed) corn casserole & loaded potatoes were so delicious. We were to full to eat our desserts but they looked so good! We will have a nice snack at the hotel….

Great meat selections. My hubby had the beef brisket and two sides. I had the chicken fried steak with two sides. We also shared a some bread pudding. It was all delicious!

Been craving some good brisket and this was the right place! Loved the marble brisket and trimmings! Great service too...I didn't have my reading glasses and she let me borrow hers to see the menu! That was incredibly sweet of her!

Excellent food, cooked to order or prepared to order rather and the time it takes is worth it. Huge seating area so plenty of social distance this time of day on a Tuesday. Dad loves the Roadhouse Burger so got a couple for their BOGO 1/2 price. Don't forget to get some of that cobbler while your at it.

Great food at a reasonable price. My husband and I got two 2-meat plates, 2 medium drinks, and I got a side salad for $40. The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The turkey was my favorite. They must wet brine it, because it was super moist and seasoned throughout. The sauce is really tangy, which I love. I'm so glad we went here instead of Buccee's. I would def go back whenever I'm in the area.

Stopped in on a Friday so I had the fried fish special instead of BBQ. Delicious! Cooked to order, tasted very fresh. Nice size portion and price. Another customer mentioned that they come from Louisiana to visit relatives and go out of their way to stop in for ribs. I'll try them next time!

$14.70ish for a 1 plate of meat and sweet potato fries + pinto beans. Good portion for 1 person. You could be charged a credit card fee if you pay with a card. There was flavor, and some nice folks. Decent food though not overly wow.

Nice people with good BBQ, baked potato, very flavorful BBQ beans with no meat, all the other normal sides and a great salad bar! Meat eaters and Vegans alike can enjoy good food in a nice friendly atmosphere. Across the street from Buc-ees, near the Tesla Superchargers.

Nice strip mall storefront across from Buc-ces. Marbled brisket was very good. Sausages flavorful and a bit tough. Cowboy potatoes barely warm. Yummy cobblers started HOT. NO service in this establishment. Once your plate is full you’re on your own. You even have to fetch plastic silverware from another room. Prices reasonable. Cash preferred.
