Carmencita Brunch - La Latina

Restaurant Brunch restaurant

Muy recomendable People often mention brunch, great, amazing, delicious, service, spot, fresh, Carmencita, Madrid, Benedict,

I loved the breakfast at Carmencita in Madrid. I had huevos rancheros and it was absolutely amazing. Delicious and very fulfilling. The spice level was also satisfying. I also had a huge glass of mimosa. Because there was only a little price difference between the small size and the big size. But then I got pretty drunk in the middle of the day under the burning sun. We also had a breakfast burger and mushrooms as side. And a brown Spanish beer. Burger, mushrooms & the beer were also tasty. Highly recommended spot for brunch!

New outpost in La Latina of my favorite brunch spot in Madrid. Excellent dishes, fresh ingredients, decadent desserts and the nicest waiters. And hamburgers…hands down some of the best burgers in Madrid.

Food here is amazing! Glad it wasn't crazy busy. Had a group of 6 and everyone loved what they got. The Ranchero was amazing. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. The eggs Benedict was good but go with the rancheros! Mimosas are fantastic!

A small side street restaurant opens up to a beautiful open dining room with a balcony overseeing the street next to it. You are greeted immediately by friendly staff who will show you to your table. The food arrives fast (and so do the incredible 1 euro mimosas). I had the huevos rancheros, which were simply delectable, the beans I was surprised to find weren't canned and instead cooked in-house. The balance of flavors between the sauce, guacamole and sour cream made for a pleasant experience throughout without any heaviness at the end. We were sad to leave.

So happy there’s a new Carmencita in town! The same brunch menu you know and love from the original Carmencita (and subsequent locations) in a great new space. Must order: jugs of mimosas, eggs Benedict with bacon, hash browns and/or sweet potato fries. Don’t miss the desserts — their carrot cake is a classic for a reason, and the new cheesecake is also incredible. 10-20€ per person.

The food was delicious and generous. The orange juice, not pictured, is fresh squeezed. The French toast came with the syrup on it but it was not too much. It is worth the brunch upgrade which includes coffee, organge juice or mimosa, and a dessert.

It was good food, but I have tried better Benedict eggs. Also for a place called “brunch” I feel they should have more pancakes options and add yogurt or bowls to the menu. The price wasn’t bad.

The BEST BRUNCH IN MADRID hands down. I always visit multiple times whenever I'm in the city! I recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice, the Chad eggs benedict, the huevos rancheros and the carrot cake! Literally the most delicious food. Your belly will leave happy and full 😁🤗

Great place for brunch! The Benedict eggs are really great prepared, and you can have them with anything you want: bacon, salmon, mushrooms, avocado. They come with Salud, or sweet potatoes in the side, really well cooked! Besides you have coffee, high quality, kombucha, juice or mimosas as a drink 😇 The waiters are really nice and fast, they offered alternatives to make our brunch just as we wanted. Definitely recommend! But don’t forget to book, specially Sunday 😉

This is the original brunch spot of Spain! The owner is an incredible woman who is serving up delicious food, drinks, and dietary alternatives for vegans, gluten free foodies and kids. My favorite spot in Madrid- a must try for locals and tourists!

Their newest location is my favorite! Open dining space, the breeze from cava Alta to cava baja makes it feel like you’re in a terrace. Of course, the same great food as always and friendly staff. Dog friendly!

The food was so great that I forgot to take pictures 😂 finished in a few minutes. The portions are soooo big in Spain, I’ll never get used to it.

This new location is really nice! Beautiful place and food is amazing as in all other locations. The only downside I found is that it can get very loud and noisy.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brunch spot!!!! This quaint diner is tucked away from the busy streets but is still very close to many of Spain’s popular sites. My husband and I were blown away by the tasteful decor and rich flavor of the dishes! The service was hospitable and attentive! We wish we had discovered this spot sooner!!!!
