I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Madrid.

We went to this restaurant in November 2017. We couldn't find any tourist in the shop except us. We enjoyed the experience because we always want to find the truly local restaurant. Churros is amazingly good with reasonable price and this is highly recommended. I still remember the waiter who is the tallest and know English. He is very welcome to us and we, as a Hong Kong people, feel very impressive.

I ordered plato 1, which came with two fried eggs, slice of beef (essentially a steak), French fries, and a drink for 8.50€. Very good deal and it was delicious, especially the beef. Good service, seems like a place frequented by locals. Make sure you know your Spanish though.

We came in one evening for churros. The man who served us at the bar was very rude and dismissive. After we paid, we realized we did not get any chocolate and asked for some. The man shook his head and said no we don’t have any. We saw behind the counter containers with chocolate and so we asked again. The man once again dismissed us and grew irritated. He had the audacity to throw packets of sugar at us! Being a foreigner and not speaking Spanish very well, I felt unheard and neglected at this restaurant. Luckily, another staff was helpful and finally gave us some chocolate to go with the churros. Overall, the churros and chocolate were underwhelming.

One star for the behavior of the old grumpy waiter behind the desk. We didn't speak well Spanish so he made bad comments about us and thought we won't understand. My Mrs is Brazilian so she could understand his disrespectful words. Treat people with more respect even if they don't speak your language or maybe try to learn another language. At least we tried! Probably because of that we were the only guests. Nothing to complain about the food and hot chocolate. Also reasonable priced.

Underrated churros and chocolate, at such a good price! The place may not be as fancy as San Gines, but it's traditional and the flavours are gorgeous.

A wonderful little spot. Best churros me and my girlfriend ever had (we've tried 5 other places so far). Churros were fresh and hot. Hot chocolate was delicious as well, not too sweet and tasted like real chocolate. The price was really reasonable as well.

We had churros and chocolate which were absolutely amazing. Especially the hot chocolate is to die for. Staff was super friendly (like so often in Madrid) even though we're clearly foreigners. Thank you for a great experience! :-β˜†

If you enjoy less touristic places, this one is an awesome option to have some churros and chocolate. Specially the chocolate is super tasty, darker than the normal chocolates I’ve had in other churrerias.

Traditional breakfast in downtown. Open very early and good quality, it doesn't receive 5 stars cause it's a bit pricey

Authenticity marks the experience. Fine product served alongside the best charming service. Looking for a traditional Madrid-ist churro parlor, then head to Formula Nieto

My wife and I had porras that were straight out of the kitchen, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They were so warm and the texture was perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered two coffees that were good. The hot chocolate was INCREDIBLE! Not too sweet and had plenty of chocolate thickness to it. A must. We're going back in the morning.

DO NOT EVER COME HERE FOR CHURROS!!! They are COLD, bad quality, greasy, not crispy(kind of soggy), and truly TERRIBLE! They are not made fresh as they suppose to! Check my pictures so You will see your self ;)
