A holy place to worship. The main altar Jesus of Medinaceli is worth to see. We came over with our parish priest and group of parishioners. Absolutely Beautiful!

Jesus de Medinacelli Madrid city Father. It's history is really interesting, reading about it is a must! At the old city, near Prado museum and Spanish Deputy Congress, it's easy to park in a public parking or use public transport. There are Beautiful images inside... After you can go to Plaza De Santa Ana to eat something. Nice on Sundays.

It is a parish that is still being used, and except for the altar, there’s nothing very special about it. If you are a devoted Catholic, you will love to worship here.

A beautiful church with a little bit more modern aproach than the other churches of the area. You can check the pictures yourself. It is also close to the prado square and museums.

Impressive entrance and tall ceilings inside. Busy, as it should, in Easter period with queues of people to enter the Basilica. Definitely worth a visit

I chose this particular church for the Vigil on a Saturday evening I had never been to Madrid, so this was my first encounter with a Catholic Church in the capital. I loved everything about the church, but I was especially struck by the immense devotion of the parishioners for the statue of Jesus high up behind the altar! Very impressive was the number if volunteers present. I was also pleased when the priest welcomed all tourists. He made us feel so at home!! Thank you

Confession is always available before Mass. You may go near the image of Christ by taking the stairs at the left side of the Altar.

Beautiful large church outside is under renovation. Inside simpler than many catholic churches but beautiful windows and iconic images. Worth a visit plus it's quiet except during mass

Who can resist a Basilica? Not us. The three of us spent a short 15 minutes enjoying the inside of this beautiful place.

Beautiful Basilica! They were having mass. They open very early, around 6:30 am on Fridays. The line to see the Cristo de Medinaceli Holy Statue stretched outside the cathedral and down the block. Incredible. Worth the visit.
