Place is located nearby famous Jigarthanda in madurai. Everybody says Koonar shop, we have enquired some localities there and recommended this place. To our surprise it is very small place which can accommodate 8ppl. Evening a varities are available right from Mutton dosa, Paya, Egg dosa, Parotta, Mutton chukka, Kothu parotta. All are mouth watery which they serve with two types of curries. Which is added taste to any dish. Ambience - do not consider Best is to take away or else need to wait till the crowd gets clear . New find and worth for money.

Great food. Price is also not so bad. Try ghee chukka. That was great. Parottas are soft and too good.

Ashok evening mutton stall is a small outlet located in a by-lane of a market but as mentioned by various food bloggers and several reviews on Google stands true to its taste. The small dingy outlet grew from one outlet to 3 outlet and the main one is a sight to behold for foodies. My video might not do justice to the experience but still can give you a feel of it. We ordered kuttu parotha, mutton chukka and Ceylon parotha at the outlet meant for families. The Ceylon parotha and the kuttu parotha were exceptionally yummy compared to what i had else where. It is served with 2 varities of mutton gravy spicy one and a blander version of it. The spicy is one is a must try. The mutton chukka was recommended by the server and we ordered it but i found it to be good but not exceptional as i am not accustomed to the taste might be, so i would recommend you to try. I would recommend you to also order biryani as it was local favourite but i couldn't try it as we were full. The joint is worth every penny spent and very pocket friendly. We only paid 370 for 3 dishes. It can be easily located in the google maps and once you reach at the location ask any street vendor and they will point you in the direction of the store. The store doesn't have a great ambiance and should only go to the place if taste is your priority. Caution : not for people concerned about hygiene

Don't get fooled by YouTube reviews, protah was good, but the salna had no taste and their mutton chukka was not upto the mark and the Majiera chicken is over fried. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

I came here after seeing reviews from YouTube but very disappointed. 1.Food taste is ok. 2.Price is 10 to 20 rupees High than other competitors and quantity is also less. 3.if you are want to eat in hotel you have to sit on others back, very congested room❗🛑 4.0️⃣ Hygienic☠️ 5.Most people are only influenced by reviews,i never seen any local residents.

Traditional and old styled parotta shop. Chukka and Parotta are famous here. Excellent Kalaki. Not worth the hype. There are better restaurants. Located in a highly crowded area. It's advisable not to go in car because of unavailability of parking space.

Not the hype, I got influenced by YouTube reviews, Personally mutton chukka is not that great, Madurai is meant for Parotta but here not up to the mark, Vadiyal is average, The salna they provided was completely blunt, no flavour, As you couldn't expect the ambience to dine in, Finally try once🤞
