Clean modern hotel with all ameneties in a central location. Very good service. Nice rooms perfect for 2. But can fit an extra bed. Good buffet breakfast and lunch. Small pool. Restaurant closed by 10:30 and coffee shop even earlier so that was a bit disappointing.

The staff was polite, and the location was good, as it was near the city centre. The check-in and check-out were smooth, as we gave all the details in advance. In the beginning, we had some service and food quality issues, but upon sharing, the Managers and Chefs served us well. Room cleanliness, hygiene and overall ambience were also good.

The Courtyard by Marriott Madurai provided us with a wonderful experience for our short, but memorable stay. The service is impeccable, as the staff are attentive and willing to accommodate to cater to your needs. The food at Madurai Kitchen in the dinner and breakfast buffets are excellent as well. They have stayed true to the authentic flavors and have an elaborate spread. The Tamil cuisine showcased in the breakfast buffet is especially flavorful. Chef Selvan was particularly kind, generous, and attentive. Overall, the quality of service made us feel at home and comfortable. We will definitely be back when we are back in Madurai. We would wholeheartedly recommend anyone visiting Madurai to stay at this property.

Great location and best rooms available at Madurai. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Poor service. We had booked a junior suite room. We checked in late and probably due to the timing there was not much guidance as to where the room is and what are the amenities available at the room. We were given the key and asked to go to the room by ourselves. Our luggage also took time to arrive. In addition to this, we had to cancel the birthday cake cutting we planned on the date of stay. I had called the hotel a couple of days earlier to check if birthday cakes are available in the room and was told I can order it anytime from the cafe -both 1/2kg and 1kg. So I didn't order it earlier. However when we called to check for available options, we were told only a few flavours are available and the too only 1kg cakes. Apparently we had to order before 1pm if we needed a 1/2kg cake of our choice. This was never mentioned to us before and also they have a cut off time of 1pm while the check in time itself is 3pm. We ordered a pastry instead from the cafe which turned out to be pathetic. All the other food items we had were good and the service while checking out was also good.

This is a very neat and clean hotel and it is strategically located in Madurai. We had booked a pickup service from Airport and the service was great as the driver was on time when we were at the arrivals. The rooms are pretty clean and are of decent size with bed placement and a good table for work. The room is very well equipped with all the items. 1. A Queen-size bed, 2. TV panel, 3. Work table with power connection, 4. Closed enclosure for Bag and Hangers. 5. Safety locker, 6. Tea coffee sachets for refreshment with Mugs, wine glasses. 7. A small refrigerator, 8. Iron and Iron-table for ironing clothes. The bathroom is spacious enough and has a walk in wardrobe. Breakfast has a full menu with almost everything that one can eat in the morning and the taste is super delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. One of the best thing I saw in the room are the reusable glass water bottles instead of plastic bottles which is a great habit.

Stayed at Marriott for two days. It was a great experience and completely overwhelmed by the customer service especially at the restaurant. Curated menu and well stocked stuff especially for South Indian food lovers. Customer service at the reception and at the restaurant made to feel that we had come to a wedding. Extremely delighted! First of all, they have got big & spacious parking for cars & bikes although in different spots inside the campus. Near to the entrance, they have got a very big & cosy coffee shop with plenty of seats. Were here as a group of 10 for dinner on a Saturday, original price was 1160, but asked for a discount and they gave 10%, so it came down to 1060 per head. Atmosphere inside the restaurant as expected was too good and with good amount of space to move around inside. Food wise there were not too many items for veg & taste was also pretty average. Considering the amount charged, that too for Madurai, they should increase the number of items and improve the food quality as well. Another point to consider is they should bring in live counters, which was not there and it will give a good feeling to customers.

Ok to stay and maintained well. Rooms are very spacious and looks nice. Very limited TV channels to watch. Food is ok. Staffs should manage well in the restaurant. They focus only few set off people and ignore some people who are sitting quiet. Manager must improve

Hotel was good having good location. All staff and housekeeping personnel are very helpful. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. In the morning i used swimming pull during my stay. It is well managed with lifeguards My stay was very good and comfortable.

It's wonderful resort located in madurai. Ambience is so good. Restaurant buffet starts at 12.45pm everyday. Salads to dessert is so good. Banquets halls are there for all events. Event buffet foods are also available.

Title: Disappointing Stay I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Marriott Madurai, and it fell short of my expectations in several ways. The stay was a series of disappointments that made it difficult for me to enjoy my visit. Room Condition: The room I was assigned was outdated and in dire need of a refresh. The furniture was worn, and the room felt less than clean. Service: The service at this Marriott left much to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making me feel like an afterthought rather than a valued guest. Amenities: I was disappointed with the lack of amenities provided. The gym was under-equipped, and the spa was closed during my stay, which was a major letdown. Dining: The dining options were limited, and the food quality did not match the price point. I expected more from a Marriott. Noise: The noise levels in the hotel were high, and it was difficult to get a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, I was disappointed by my stay at the Marriott Madurai. I expected a higher level of service and quality from this well-known chain. I hope the management takes these concerns into consideration to improve the guest experience in the future.

We opted this place for dinner buffet for our 1st year engagement eve. The price of buffet was - 1300 tax included. The food served here is the worst food ever I have tasted in my entire lifetime. Coming from a normal middle class family and also being a foodie 😅 this was on my list to have luxury buffet with my better half. Food was below average , street side food taste much more better than the food served here. I never knew desserts can taste this bad, even though I have a sweet tooth I just couldn't even eat a bite. Coming to the service it was ridiculous. Don't waste your money on the dump - so called food served here! Saving you and your money 💰

Attended a meeting so unable to comment about the Rooms and related review. The Banquet hall for the meeting was really spacious and great. The HighTea and the Dinner was really nice. Service was also good. Restrooms also neatly maintained. Sufficient parking space available for Cars and Bikes. Location is also great.

Located in quite neighbourhood of Madurai, well maintained rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast spread and ample parking. Rahim the housekeeping staff made our day by keeping an bouquet of roses along with a handwritten , in our room, thanking us for staying at Marriott!!! One of the best hotels in Madurai, clean rooms, friendly staff and so was the manager Mr Manon and his team. Clean rooms and quite surroundings one thing I think they need to improve on is their buffet and room dining. All in all recommended.

A hotel with a boring architecture and boring Decor Liked · The room was spacious, comfortable beds and linens. Pillows were great. Bathroom was large and separated, wasn't very fond of that. Nice closets and lovely room robes. The couches were lovely and the office area was comfortable. The food was alright not up to par though there was plenty of variety. The staff in the dining were nice and efficient. The front desk needs better staffing. Just not cordial enough. Disliked · 1. The shower was really awful, it didn't work well nor did it have pressure. The shower head was so old and dated. 2. The hotel design left it looking like a jail, with blah colors in beige and no greenery to cheer the place up into the Earth movement. 3. The front desk reception were weird and not as cordial as you'd expect.

Excellent hotel property in Madurai. Had stayed in their suite and it was very thoughtfully laid out. The complimentary breakfast spread at the Madurai kitchen is sumptuous. Had ordered quite a few dishes during lunch and dinner and each one of them tasted like authentic madurai cuisine. Really lip smacking food. Service was top notch too.

Very well planned and maintained hotel, matches up to all the Marriott Luxury Standards:). Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Food is simply delicious, especially the breakfast buffet.

We went for the Sunday Brunch. The most amazing brunch buffet ever! What a spread! And of all the dishes, we disliked just two and that too, might be our palate - The fried fish balls had a strong fishy smell and the grilled lamb rib was not done to our taste. That's it. Otherwise just yum 😋! Kids love the place too.

Went there for a wedding reception. Very nice ambience, with plenty of parking space available. Decoration was done very tastefully. Even though around 1000 guests had come for the reception, the crowd was managed well. There were four food stations with plenty of waiters to clear the used items and replenish the food. Food taste was also great. They had two counters on the open terrace and that was amazingly pleasant and breezy. Lots of greenery around the hotel, so it was nice all around. The hall was big and the sound system was great. Even though there were so many people, it did not feel crowded.

Exorbitant price for poor laundry quality - not hand washed, not pressed and not even on hangers but was charged more than 5 star hotels!!! Room was comfortable however bathroom sliding room was difficult to open and close. Water was leaking out of the shower area. The switches were not working. Otherwise, staff were warm and helpful.

The stay was amazing. The room was nice. The kitchen staff was exemplary. The kitchen staff made sure that our kid ate food every time we went down to eat food. Would definitely stay here if we visit Madurai again.

Great hotel, great amenities, super friendly staff. But there is just 1 problem. Too many mosiqutos. Had to kill like 7-8 each day otherwise in the night, I get bitten all over my arms and legs. The room size was super big, love the bedding, super comfortable. Design was modern too. However, there's no business Centre which is ashamed for the only 5* hotel in Madurai and not have a business Centre. Nevertheless, great hotel, great food, nice gym!

The most horrible buffet menu I have tasted in my life so far. Please I recommend to all to not visit this place for food. Non veg was stale. Veg food not cooked properly. For standards that mariott should have , it was a total disappointment. Kitchen dept - Please look into your quality of food !!!!

Nice rooms with good facilities. Lobby and entrance areas are very beautiful. Tasty food as well. Hope that they maintain it well as bathrooms are showing signs of getting old with few spot marks. But clean though. Staff was very courteous.

Delighted by the hospitality at the Marriott Madurai. Our stay was extremely comfortable. The meals at the hotel were also excellent, especially the breakfast spread. The hotel is reasonably well located with most tourist attractions within 5 kms. I would definitely stay here again if I'm visiting Madurai.

Great place to dine in. Although there are lots of options in the buffet, chef is ready to cook anything you want on demand. Reasonable priced for 5 star hotel. Would always visit when we go to Madurai. Madurai had proved great for street food as well star hotel food.

Good spread for both veg and non veg. live counters are also great. Ambience was good and staff were courteous. Its getting too much crowded these days and sometimes you feel that you are into a corporate cafeteria given the amount of noise.

We stayed for the weekend. The room was very clean and maintained really well. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Major disappointment is the food. Very average. Fish was not fresh and had a strong smell. Few other items were also not so great. Stay and ambience was good but the food department needs a lot of improvement
