We did master health checkup here in Madurai. We preferred Madurai Apollo instead of Chennai Apollo as the service here is great. The entire preventive health checkup department is very kind, patient and courteous. I would like to specifically call out Ms. Makarasi, Ms. Leela Shivani, Ms. Sasikala and Ms. Vishnupriya for their exceptional customer service. Management guy will come to your ward and ask you to give 5 star rating in Google for hospital in front of them. Even if you say I will give it afterwards they won't leave you. Management is very Rude. Especially persons in billing section. One lady in the billing section talk as if she is owner of this hospital and another guy sitting next to her also behave like the same. They are not willing to hear what we are saying. They want us to listen to what they say. I don't know if they recruit people like them for billing section so that they will collect the money from patient in that way. Like Rowdy. Very disappointed with Apollo Madurai. As far the treatment i will rate 5 star. But for management i will rate zero. Be careful with Management people. Clarify with your bill on daily basis.

My kid was given antibiotic without test dose. Because of that my kid was admitted to ICU due to low oxygen saturation & color change in skin and nails. Heavy does of Medicines were given. No one apologized for that. The doctor told us that once you entered Apollo 'you should not dictate us and we don't like that'. This remembered 'are we in govt hospital?' Both of kids were admitted in same time. But we had very worst experience during our treatment. All are keen on entering the charges in the bill. Day duty doctor never visited our kids but we paid the fees daily for one week. Lab reports are intentionally delayed to extend our hospital stay. We followed up every thing. Too much of disturbance by the training nurses all the time. Nurses don't know the word 'hospitality' - they are robotic nurses not even don't know how to smile in children ward [D3 ward] while putting injections. Nurses don't know how to inject IV without air bubbles. - Simply wasted lot of money.

One should sit in front of the women's toilet if he/she need to avail the Ultrasound Scan from Apollo. Ans as on 3rd may 2023, the doctor in charge of this division (US scan) is busy with some other reps for 2 hours where as the patients with full urinary bladder waiting for the scan from 9 AM. Hope the hospital management will look into this and resolve. I can see lot of patients are asked to come back in the evening after they waited for 3 hours. A prior communication is better and professional. Appolo team need to micro monitor these things.

Mother Had orthopedic surgery at Apollo Hospitals Madurai and recovering well. Staff very extremely helpful, prompt in action and compassionate. My father aged 70 admitted in this hospital as he fallen at toilet..so he got problem of urine urgency on that day.. Due to this corono situation, hospital tested swab and it came negative still they admitted in corono ward showing the lung involvement is 5 %.But he doesn't had any corona Symptom like breathing problem,fever or tiredness. They having 5-7 day package .only after this period they are discharging eventhough they don't have corona for revenue purpose ..and there is no enough space between patients.and nurses not feed him properly .due to this he lost muscles and become weaker. He fallen due to increase in blood sugar but they given flu medicines but he didn't shown problem of corono. Hospital , doctors and nurses shown no mercy on my father..they well aware my father don't have corono but for the money reason they kept him inside covid ward and didn't provide enough care to him. Finally ,we lost my father after being in covid ward for 15 days.. Please visit nearby specialist hospitals for any treatment at this time .don't go to this corporate mafia as they will work for your money not for the patient well being. Moreover,there is no experienced doctors ,all are less experienced and work for their commission percentage.

Had a worst experience recently.. Mother was diagnosed with Hernia and urged to undergo operation by Hernia Specialist surgeon(Tvsekar).We trusted the doctor and accepted for operation but without proper planning they did operation and my mother was not able to sustain the operation and passed away 24 hours later.. we were not really informed about the risk/seriousness of the operation... everything happened in a hurry... Apart From hernia she was completely fine and healthy.. please think 1000 times before going to this hospital..

The appointment was honoured on time, but there was a huge quaue for making payment on Block D, never i have seen this much crowd for the past 5 years, no Covid protocol was followed, even the person who is on the bill desk is not wearing the mask.I felt very bad after seeing this kind of crowd in the hospital wards, the authority should do something to manage the crowd. Canteen service was good and the prices are reasonable, sisters were friendly and helpful.

Hospital house keeping services are good. Food for patient is hygienic and on time. Doctors are so kind to patients as well as to attenders. If you wants to know about further treatment what they decided to give, the nurses hardly know about that. All you can ask to duty nurses but not aware of what they going to do further.

Last week we went to hospital. The staffs were good. But except doctor T.V.Sekar acted very harshly towards us. I was severely suffering through lot of problems. His act was very rude and impolite to us. After he prescribed some medicines and I got even worse than before. Please ask him to behave well. We came there to solve our problems but he made me very depressed.

We visited the hospital to get an angiogram done for my mother. The doctor was very polite and did a good job. However, the support crew weren't very professional in handling my mother. The room 2259 had a leak and we had a puddle of water waiting for us after the procedure was over. The waiting rooms are too crowded.. Ironically, it looked like a super spreader gathering. Overeall, the experience was a mixed bag, gave 3 stars because the billing was fair and mom is ok now.

We were waiting with empty stomach for blood check up, but that PRO was very slow while collecting the bill payments..Cardio department secretary played a double game while booking appointment for MHC..communication gap is present everywhere.. apollo services become worse now a days..Administration should take a neccessary action on this for better patient care..Doctors and most of the staffs are good in nature..But dissatisfaction occurs even with one immature person while dealing the patient..

4 years before I came here for my father in laws lipoma surgery the rooms and bathrooms was very clean and hygienic but last week I came here for my mother surgery the bathroom colour was very worst it was full of Dirt even the housekeeping come and clean everyday they are just putting phenyl and doing oral cleaning it was looking like a public toilet, they are charging 4500 per day for a room.They should cleaned and the keep the bathroom very need and hygiene The management must notice this and clear it out I will attach the video

My mother underwent 2 surgeries over the span of 5 months in Apollo Madurai. Surgical doctor was clear and transparent about the surgery process and cost. Medical, housekeeping and other teams did a great job to make my mother's stay and treatment as comfortable as possible. Insurance team provided fantastic support in getting us the insurance refund. Guest relations team is vigil about any feedback and implement our suggestions immediately, if relevant. We have been and will be visiting Madurai Apollo for all our medical needs.

Recently, I went to the apollo hospital for a small procedure and had a sprain on my left leg. The staff nurses are very courteous and compassionate. I had an injection without any pain. My mom had been to this hospital for a Covid test that is required before travel to US and the report they shared had DOB typed incorrectly and when asked to fix it they took about 2 hrs after saying it will take about 10 mins to fix the issue. And even after 2 hrs they came back with the same incorrect form and said they have a system issue when this is actaully manual error, my mom had to literally put a fight and get the corrected form and explain then it’s a typo and then which in the next 10 mins they gave her the corrected form. So much hassle for a covid test result and very poor experience overall. it’s better to keep your expectations very low.

My mother is admitted at Madurai Apollo hospital for some gastrointestinal problem and she is recovering well. All doctors, nurses and staff are very caring and supportive. The diagnosis facilities in the hospital are fantastic: all the needed lab facilities and diagnosis equipment are available within the premises, which is very impressive. Hospital must better in car parking facilities and lift facilities. Lifts become repair very often and the patient attenders need to roam around to spot the next lift. Car parking is far away. Car arrival space in the emergency area is very congested and makes a bit stress when arriving for emergency

We recently admitted our 6 year daughter with Viral fever and from the emergency care till discharge staffs were really helpful and kind towards the care of my daughter. She got entertained by colouring books and crayons provided by Relationship Team of staff and food is excellent and got in time. Really appreciate the help from the Apollo hospital team of staffs and at the time of discharge received the Momentum of her colouring in a photograph form that was really sweet. I and my wife came for a health check on Dec 2023 and had a chance to have breakfast at Apollo’s cafe (canteen). The served food was healthy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Uma maheswari for her excellent service.

A very impressive hospital with good doctors nurses and facility management services. My mom was hospitalised and the care they provided was commendable. The hospitality can exceed hospitality management in big star hotels. A big thanks to Mr. Alagurajan who provided care to detail.

I was admitted in emergency on 22nd Nov 2023 midnight... I think male nurse in emergency Mr. Magenthran and emergency doctor Dr.Mohamed suhail..... extremely both of them behaved like a GOD....... I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the help desk service. I have been waiting for nearly 3 hours to check the pacemaker, and it's quite inconvenient, considering I traveled a long distance to come to the hospital for this appointment. Regrettably, this isn't the first time I've encountered this issue. A month ago, despite booking an appointment 45 days in advance and confirming my arrival two days before the appointment, I was also informed that the technician was unavailable. I sincerely hope that this recurring situation can be addressed promptly. Update : More worst happens again. Now the technical person came and checked for one patient and left without check my father's. Front desk staffs are not at all responsible. 😡
