A very popular vegetarian destination in Madurai. Sree Sabarees has a few branches across the city, and this is a smaller one. Faces a huge rush for breakfast and lunch, and you may have to wait a bit to find a seat at peak times. Regardless, the staff is more than upto the task, and the orders are served very quickly. Food is generally great and there is no surprise in the amount of footfalls this place receive. The wash area and toilet are cramped. Three vehicles can be parked near the restaurant. Card payments are accepted.

Sabarees group of restaurant is definitely best in Madurai town. Went for a snack, ordered rasa vadai which is quite different from the usual menu. Rasam was excellent in flavour , little bit extra spice added, they put dhal vadai instead of ulundhu vadai. Filter Coffee was excellent. This hotel in town hall has no car parking, have to park in junction parking or some other alternate place. Little bit crowded,so it's better to move away from the crowd to be safe

Best North Indian food i have eaten in South India. Quick and smooth service. Crowded atmosphere and for good reason. South Indian, needless to say tasted amazing. Naan is unlike any i have ever eaten, started soft for a long time. Masala dosa with 4 chutney and sambhar was delicious as expected. Paneer butter masala was unexpectedly good. I couldn't stop eating.

Tasty food dishes. We went as group of 15 people so we got preference for seating and serving otherwise bit difficult to get placed and for the fast service. Always crowded because of the popularity and taste. Had breakfast and dinner. If they can expand their seating capacity and AC facility will get more premium customers. Because of the heavy crowd we skipped our lunch from there. Highly recommended for vegetarian food lovers.

Best best best Veg restaurant in madurai. I had my lunch ter. Meals cost 100 rupees for which they are providing 4 types of poriyal, sweet, sambar, morekozhambu, lemon rasam, thayir. In addition-they providing dhal and ghee which provides add on taste. Must visit place for Veg lovers. They are also providing Chinese veg varieties. Getting your table is difficult u have to wait. Went there after seeing the reviews. Had south indian meals. Sambar, rasam, vegetables were extremely spicy. Place too crowded with floating population and fewer veg hotels in Madurai. Definitely not worth going again.

I am not sure about other sabarees branch. This is the first time i tried in Arasaradi branch. Such a poor taste. Ordered meals and mushroom porata and it was not fried well. Did not meet the expectation. When i asked for menu card it was not available.. Surprised and was not able to hear what server was saying in the crowd. Not much space inside the restaurant. Felt too congested. Parking is another one they need to focus on..

Cheap and best. Sometimes food digestion takes times/some inconvenience happens since they use ajinomoto.

This is one of the chain of Sabarees hotels in Madurai. This one is on the Travellers' Bungalow road near Railway colony. This place does not have much moving space inside the building. The meals served here have much varieties and the prices are reasonable.

A hotel that serves tasty food and take away for the past 40 years in Madurai. Many braches are available. But the first is in Town Hall Road. Now has stall in Madurai airport.

You peoples should know how to keep food hygenic. Taste is good. But for parcel and online orders you peoples are keeping chutneys in plastic wrapped cover inside the food. I'm not sure where all those plastic papers gone through. Finally they wrapped a chutney and those plastic papers are kept inside food. This is highly not acceptable. Try to keep side dishes separately rather than merging them with food or better pack in aluminium cover. Don't try to contaminate customers health or their food. We paying money.

For the two consecutive days I'm ordering food in your hotel and these two days I'm getting stale coconut chutney, I didn't expect this from a reputed restaurant

We had a lunch priced at 120 per head. for us we get seats when we entered. thorough the food was good, and service was also okay but all of a sudden it was filled with people and we couldn't see the servicing team for getting any items. more over made feel uncomfortable due to people behind us to occupy the space as soon as we getup. they should have a waiting hall or regulate the crowd to ensure people taking the lunch peacefully.
